Yes, I realize this maybe trite and fluffy for the astros BUT! I think it's interesting, as well as fun, while lending some interesting insight... What song was #1 (or on the list of songs) the year , month , and week you were born? Can you relate to it? Do you like it at all? Does it 'explain' you on some level? You can find it here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hot_100_number-one_singles_of_1973_%28U.S.%29 It sucks if you hate the song, but do you relate at all to its lyrics? Here is the song which was # 1 in the US the week I was born: Let's Get It On - Marvin Gaye. I love him, and I love this song. I only found out tonight about the timing it became a hit, and I feel it explains my angst and sexuality (derp) as well as my weird giddy happiness. It suits my good moods. When I am being true to myself, this song is it. I can make it a soundtrack for my life at times Apologies if this is too fluffy or inappropriate. I just wanted to lighten the mood and hope everyone smiles IP: Logged |

I love that song. My mother does, too. In America, it was Philadelphia Freedom, by Elton John. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Hot_100_number-one_singles_of_1975_(U.S.) Abba released their self-titled album on my dad's birthday that same year: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975_in_music - I can't find a list for the UK. I can't relate to the lyrics of mine. I like family ties, but I also like my space. IP: Logged |

Oh, I love this song! It was number one in England, for six weeks, during the time in which I was born: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bye,_Bye,_Baby_(Baby_Goodbye) I used to dance to the Bay City Rollers with my mother, when I was a toddler. The lyrics to this song hit a little too close to home. I've been told this type of thing on more than one occasion - only I didn't want the guy in the first place, as anything more than a friend. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O7zZDNBKks http://www.stlyrics.com/songs/b/baycityrollers10138/byebyebaby329297.html IP: Logged |

Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On - 1998lol. I always liked that song. The rest hits are boring, I prefer the 80s and early 90s. IP: Logged |

Hahaha... I'm so old that that mine was in the age of Motown, and before the Beatles were popular lol At the time I was born, the hit song was by a girl group called The Chiffons, singing "He's So Fine." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMrFht6ryTg IP: Logged |

Another fossil here – I can’t decide between these two chart-toppers for the week I was born. Aussie chart-topper Do You Wanna Dance – Bobby Freeman
US chart-topper The Stripper – David Rose Do I relate to them? Leo node/moon/venus/uranus......hell yeah!
