She is in control under every situation imaginable. Soft and gentle and affectionate when necessary. Vibrant, enthusiastic and optimistic in outlook. Lionesses are great at caring for their offspring. In fact, Lionesses usually bring home the food. So, I know my wife can stand on her own two feet and bring home the bacon if need be. At the same time, she infuses that optimistic, fun loving spirit in me. As much as I protect and shelter her, the Lioness has sharp teeth and claws that will take out any predator.

That's great that you guys could make it work and find a balancing act. Sometimes, there is a fascination and admiration from one opposite sign to the next. Every sign possesses latent qualities of its opposite sign. So, often times, there will be fascination because your opposite is a projection of some hidden part of yourself.

And, by the way, you just describe your Leo woman the way that Linda Goodman describes Leo women in her Sun Signs book: regal, classy, beautiful, warm-hearted but don't think she can't bear her claws when needed!

... I really adore oppositions in synastry? It's my favorite kind of energy. I'm a Taurus sun and I love other Scorpio suns (the moon, not so much - two very bad experiences but I wouldn't write the aspect off completely.)

I'm an Aquarius moon, but I like Leo suns.

I have a fire singleton with my Aries Venus, and I LOOOOOVE Libra mars. Like a moth to a flame, I swear. I also like a Libra moon.

My asc is in Virgo and I have a huge soft spot for Pisceans.

I pretty much just listed all my favorite signs, lol

Yeah, well, we have to be. Sad that very few of us ever have or keep a mate until late in life at least and have few children. Most have two or less, frequently only one even when large families were fashionable

well, then, indeed sags are a geminis natural mate...a sag would have to run in order to keep a geminis attention

My sister's Aquarius Sun is exactly opposite, to the degree, my Leo Moon. We're great friends, and got along well with each other even in childhood. It's funny because we're totally on the same wavelength in a lot of ways - we have very similar senses of humor, senses of responsibility, we can hang out and enjoy ourselves - but we don't really have a lot of heavily emotional conversations. At all. I'm not complaining about that, but there is a bit of a gulf. I perceive her as being pretty remote and hard to reach emotionally; I don't know how she perceives me. It's hard to say whether that is her Aqua detachment or related to the Sun/Moon opposition.

My Sun is Scorpio and my relationships with Taurus people have been... interesting. My archenemy in high school, one of the very few people I've ever felt "hate at first sight" for, was a Taurus Sun girl. Not a single thing she did in the three years we went to school together changed that opinion, either. Couldn't stand her. She later slept with the boyfriend of her best friend (the friend was also a Scorpio!) so I like to think I had her number from the very beginning... but I'm sure that opposition had something to do with it. Unfortunately I don't remember her DOB so I don't know if there were any other aspects going on.

OTOH, some of the best sex I've ever had has been with Taurus guys. When they get it, they just get it, lol! Love how self-possessed they are. I love Earth sign men.

My Sun is 16 degrees, and Moon is 29 degrees. Nice to meet you

I don't doubt it... credit where credit is due, even my archenemy had a very natural sort of sensuality about her. I should add that she was a fairly unique experience and it's not a statement about all Taurus women.

If I ever get really impassioned by something, I can really feel their nonchalance. That's the major difference: Scorpio can act nonchalant while boiling inside but Taurus really is nonchalant, the majority of the time. They can also be kind of boring at times for me. Scorpio Moons get a rep for being so dark and brooding, but we're also very high-energy and can be lots of fun when in a good mood (especially if the Sun is in Fire or Air). Taurus Moons, however, are sometimes really low on energy and unimaginative and so stuck in their ruts.

However, their sense of calm can be very stabilizing for me. My best friend has a Taurus Moon. She's heavy on the Aries, though (Sun, Mercury, Venus) so she's more energetic and fun that the usual Lunar Bull. Our Moons are almost in exact opposition synastry wise, but we almost never fight. It's amazing how well we get along. She's also extremely loyal and reliable (which helps to soothe some of my Scorpion paranoia). I think we balance each other out perfectly.

Hey, I know exactly what you mean with the frustrating nonchalance of Taurus moon. I get frustrated with the sensation that nothing excites them, moves them, gets them going, fires them up (I'm not saying this is true, but that is how it feels to me).

my opposite: leo sun, pisces moon, leo mercury, virgo venus, gemini mars.

Man he would so strange! almost as strange as me LOL

i love leo suns, they're great!
pisces moon...i've only know two, one was a friend who i just never quite got close to even though hanging out in the same group for about 8 years...and the other - ELECTRIC connection.

Leo mercury - i've only met two, one: she's a co-worker, she's great but doesn't always pay attention to what i say.
my sister (the other leo mercury i know) and i pinpointed the problem between aqua and leo mercury. she thought it was important just to listen (or pretend to listen... ) to what i was saying, and that was the important part of the conversation, and i think it's the actual content that gets discussed and their reaction and to the topic that's the important part.

virgo venus - only met one and i'm still getting to know her but there's definitely something there between us.

gemini mars - i only know gemini venuses! i'd be curious

to be continued later...

Aqua sun here...

I have the most playful relationships with male Leos. It's amazing, it's the ONLY sign that I can identify that I genuinely get along with consistently...

My father, my old boss, my friends fathers, my ONLY ex-boyfriend... all were Leos. Within days of eachother.

I respect their confidence/courage and enthusiasm for sure. I think being an Aqua female, I have always been super uncomfortable with the unexpected "exposure" that I get. I detest attention or eyes on me... but with a Leo man, it's like they LOVE that attention, and they absorb it, instead of me. Does that make sense?

I can remember being at parties with my Leo ex and have 3 men hitting on me, until he came up, completely basking in the attention that I was getting...he just ate it all up & by the end of the night they 4 of them were pals. Amazing. The self confidence & security it really appealing, they don't need any hand holding!

the89freespirit - I find it very easy to love Libra people of both genders.. A great majority of the Libra people I attract have a Scorpio Mercury trine mine in Pisces. Sometimes they also have a Scorpio stellium which is sextile my Capricorn placements - so it works for me! Actually - some of my favourite people in the whole world are Librans with Mercury or Venus in Scorpio.

As to opposite Moon signs - I find it very difficult to get along with them at times.. because they are too emotional for me and I don't feel like they really understand me deep down.. I'm sure they feel the same way.
My Moon is in Capricorn!
