Any horror stories and/or amazing experiences with your zodiac opposites? (Sun and Moon signs in particular, but you could extend to Mercury, Venus, Mars, or Rising)

I'm a Leo Sun. A few of my really good friends have been Aquarius Suns. I had a close friend in high school who was an Aquarian, but she could be pretty aloof. Not in a mean way, just it seemed like she never wanted things to get too particular or close for comfort. We would go to the mall and but it could never be alone. She'd always bring someone else. I found that odd.

Aquarians can be rather hot and cold for me (or, should I say, cool and colder). I can have issues with too much closeness myself, but I do like that warm and personal feeling better in a relationship. I've also found that they're nice, generally, but not the types to have sympathetic talks. If I ever talked about my feelings or something that upset me, I could almost feel them tensing up. A couple of my best guy friends were Aquarians and they had that quality: kind and cheerful but strangely remote.

I'm also a Scorpio Moon. I can get kind of frustrated with Taurus Moons. They're just so nonreactive sometimes, it puzzles me. If I ever get really impassioned by something, I can really feel their nonchalance. That's the major difference: Scorpio can act nonchalant while boiling inside but Taurus really is nonchalant, the majority of the time. They can also be kind of boring at times for me. Scorpio Moons get a rep for being so dark and brooding, but we're also very high-energy and can be lots of fun when in a good mood (especially if the Sun is in Fire or Air). Taurus Moons, however, are sometimes really low on energy and unimaginative and so stuck in their ruts.

However, their sense of calm can be very stabilizing for me. My best friend has a Taurus Moon. She's heavy on the Aries, though (Sun, Mercury, Venus) so she's more energetic and fun that the usual Lunar Bull. Our Moons are almost in exact opposition synastry wise, but we almost never fight. It's amazing how well we get along. She's also extremely loyal and reliable (which helps to soothe some of my Scorpion paranoia). I think we balance each other out perfectly.

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

I don't know many Libras. My moons in Sagittarius..

The few I did know I fell in love with. One had moon in scorpio and my mars is scorpio, plus my venus libra, so thats kind of funny.

A lot of my close friends are Aries. I love my Aries friend with moon in sagittarius, mars in leo. She's always so playful and she never takes things much too seriously like I do.

My other close Aries friend has moon in aries. Sometimes shes very stubborn and wants to do whatever she wants. Sometimes I let her have her way so we don't have to argue about it.. (Compromising Libra) She'd never let me have my way unless she agrees with it also.

My most fun close friend is an Aries with moon in Taurus. I LOVE talking to her! Shes loyal..SO loyal, and I wish I was more like her.

I have a love hate relationship with my Sun's opposite, Gemini. I find I do best with them in small doses. This may however, have a lot more to do with my other placements, rather than my Sun.

Generally we have a good time and never run out of experiences to enjoy, but I find the lies and refusal to own up to one's actions a bit frustrating. I get especially bothered when after being caught, instead of owning up to it, the ones in my life throw tantrums. As if them being angry is going to make you say, "Oh God, I'm so sorry for refusing to buy into your lie! Nevermind, the fact that you treated me like crap just because you were bored and in the mood pick on someone, doesn't matter anymore". In a sense, I know it's not their fault, they really do keep secrets from their self and often just want to focus on all the great stuff they do when they are being the good twin. Eventually though, (especially when boredom arises) the bad twin comes out and I just have no interest in playing the dumb games.

I find being fair weather friends with the Geminis I know, affords me the ability to enjoy them when they are interested and leave them alone when they are about to do something offensive. I'm sure I do things equally annoying to them (perhaps call them out when they turn their boredom on me). Whatever the case, this seems to be a method which keeps me loving my Geminis with the lowest level of drama.

=)

Cap sun guys are beautiful but i dont really like their personality. Cap sun girls are boring :/. Cap sun guys are just too...um, distant, plain, monotone. cap girls are like that too. I like aqua moon people usually. But i enjoy the sextile a lot more, and my favorite is moons trine my own.

As far as sun signs go, i love virgo suns, not so much taurus suns. I dont get along with that many suns trine my own, but the ones i do get on with, we got on like a house on fire usually

I'm attracted to Capricorn guys.... not so sure about wanting to stick around though LOL.

My father is an Aries moon and I love him more than any man in the world. I did date a Leo Sun, Aries Moon for three days in high school. He was the most boring person I had ever dated!!! LOL I was so disappointed. Then he tried to ruin my reputation by saying we had sex even though we dated for three days...

I dated a Virgo sun, Aries moon in college. That was red hot! Gosh I miss him... not sure how opposites feel about me.

That's about it though.

I can get along with scorpio's just fine as long as they aren't total shutins/quiet. Then again, I generally don't do well with people who don't communicate much. I also have a lot of scorpio energy.

The sign I generally have the most problem with is Aries. If someone is heavy with aries I can't tollerate them at all.

Capricorn heavy also is a putoff, simply as they can very often just be far too stoic, and it drives me nuts.

For my edification, kindly clarify "plain" and define "monotype." Thank you.

I KNOW, RIGHT?! He had no hobbies, no interests, nothing to really talk about. No substance! I liked him at first because he was amorous and gave me gifts and attention... then I started talking to him and he was boring! I didn't even think he was a bad guy until he lied and said we banged to make himself feel better... Such a major disappointment! Especially for a Leo!

For the89freespirit,

I chose to marry a Leo Sun. What I do like a lot about Leos are their warm spirit, magnanimous personality and their drive towards fulfillment. Ny wife is both brillant and intense, and yet bountiful and fun loving. The lion spirit enables her to take no nonsense and dish out the pain to others when necessary. She is in control under every situation imaginable. Soft and gentle and affectionate when necessary. Vibrant, enthusiastic and optimistic in outlook. Expert at butt kicking leadership, as a lioness ought to be. I rely on her intuition and survivalibility skills. Should I die tomorrow from a heart attack, I know that she is fully capable of quickly picking up the pieces and continue leading the charge. I know my children have the best possible care. Lionesses are great at caring for their offspring. In fact, Lionesses usually bring home the food. So, I know my wife can stand on her own two feet and bring home the bacon if need be. At the same time, she infuses that optimistic, fun loving spirit in me. As much as I protect and shelter her, the Lioness has sharp teeth and claws that will take out any predator.

There are several Leo women on here that I admire.

Okay. Time to address the Capricorn stoic stereotypes

I'm a Libra and it struck me that I have never met an Aries before! Okay I might a met them, but never got the chance to truly befriend any. It's a pity because I think I'd like their energy.

I did know a Libra guy once with Aries rising but if I have to be honest, he was actually quite ... different of what I had expected an Aries rising to be. He can "talk the talk, but not walk the walk".

One of my best friends in college was a Cappy Sun, Moon and Mercury. I'm Cancer Sun, Mercury and Mars. We had our differences, but complimented each other well. My Virgo moon was trine his Cappy stellium.

Don't you mean "complement," Mr. Virgo Moon?

If so I am repulsed by you, o opposite one
