I am interested in rising signs and physical characteristics as well as the personality. I read a article very briefly. about the signs. There seems to be a lot of information and things to be learned about a person based on their rising signs. Which rising signs in your opinion are considered the most attractive?IP: Logged |

I think most attractive rising signs is a matter of opinion.  Like I find Virgo rising males to be thin and wire-y in youth. Would you go for that? Or that Leo risings tend to have big heads, ya know? I find air risings to be soft, along the lines of chubby. Water risings = petite and small bodied. PERSONALLY, I like Leo risings, what with my Mars there. I fit the trend of Virgo rising males being feminine and skinny. Maybe later in life I shall bulk up? I don't really care, C: IP: Logged |

Well I really dnt go around asking pple their rising sign or time of birth soo i only know mine lol. I'm libra rising and pple tell me I'm attractive  ------------------

i have an aqua ascendant and the description fits me to a t, i am very tall 6'3 and have the distant dreamy looking green eyes,and paler skin and thin hair,i also have venus conjunct the ascendant and have libra dimplesIP: Logged |

Aesthetically, I have a preference for the Air sign Ascendants. In a nutshell, Libra is charming, Gemini is youthful, and Aquarius is ethereal.Classically, Libra Rising is said to be the most attractive ascendant, ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty and attraction. As a Libra rising myself, I'm neither attesting to nor denying that notion, but I can share a bit about what I have come to learn. Libra rising is distinct in appearance. It's a rising sign that's easily discerned. Immediately, one notices the dimples so often synonymous with Libra. The almond-shaped eyes, refined nose, swan-like neck, and markedly symmetrical facial features give rise to an undeniably unoffensive bearing. The aura is one of elegance and above all, poise. Body types vary between exceptionally balanced and pear-shaped. The buttocks and hips are typically shapely. Unless the Ascendant falls in the Aquarius-Uranus decan, however, the person is not likely to have a striking or unique face. In the vein of other Air Ascendants, Christina Aguilera is an Aquarius Rising, and Sandra Bullock is a Gemini Rising. Both ladies atop of my list of Hollywood Stunners. There's also something about female Leo Risings that I find alluring, too. My friend's mom, mentioned in another thread, is a Libra with a Taurus rising. Gawd she's beautiful...and her Leo moon only adds some glitz and glamour! IP: Logged |

 I like Air or Fire Rising signs the best. Especially Air, I can always spot them and I'm an Aquarius Rising. I just love Airy eyes they're beautiful and those Airy smiles can melt the Ice caps, whew. IP: Logged |

i was often wondering whether i am virgo rising or libra rising cause my mum couldnt tell me precisely what time i was born,she said whether you are born 6:15am or 7:15am...and those two make a difference for my natal chart.the 6:15am would make me a late virgo rising and the other one makes me a libra rising!many years i was insecure which one i am,thats why i did lots of study on virgo and libra risings!the only clear sign that i used to finally uncover my true rising sign was written in a good book about saturn and its implication in the houses.it is said that saturn switches signs every 2 and a half year,so i went looking for that,examined my lifespams and looked what happened in relation to my saturn,bingo i found i must be librarising,cause otherwise my sun-saturn would fall into my first house,which would imply that i am overly busy with finding my true self/identity.also the book said often times saturns placement in a house is of great importance cause most often people tend to thrive the opposite house direction.so i checked it for myself:if my saturn would be in the first house,with virgo rising,i would try to go behind realtionship as a main focus in my life...if my saturn is in the 12th house,it would make me go after 6th house qualities...and here i found the clue:all my life i longed for the 6th house qualities,now shortly after my saturn return i finally found bliss=12th house.it is said that till saturn return everyone looks to fulfill the opposite house of saturn,and well what have i been busy alike 6th house!!!maybe you want to check this for yourselves,i enjoyed this theory pretty much ...oh well like i said earlier,my libra asc does give me good looks and at the same time i do not really care about that...although @aquaguy,i really cant escape green eyes my current bf has green eyes too!i doubt i could ever fall for other eyecolor the way i fall for green eyes ...good looks is a subjective issue,some like this others like that,its hard to give it a formulathe book is called liquid light of sex by Clow ,one of the best books i have ever read. I love people with cancer rising, but It's not because of their apperance, but because of the way they act, it's ever so kind! And well, I'm a Cap...I have virgo rising and I'm really really skinny, also people oftem describle me as very feminine. Taurus risings are also very sexy! I tend to hate geminis, but geminis rising has their youth-innocent attractiveness. But they never look they are really paying attention on you, so It can be annoying... IP: Logged |

I like feminine rising signs. They look softer. Virgo Rising men also look very sophisticated.
Cancer Rising might be the softest most warm looking rising sign out there.IP: Logged |

I think Libra rising is supposed to be universally attractive.Agree about Virgo rising being skinny and feminine. Leo rising guys often have thick hair & sleepy/dreamy/ bedroom eyes. With the typical attention seeking & ego. IP: Logged |

as far as personality goes i can definitely feel that my ascendant is cardinal because i have a lot of energy. with venus i have a lot of social energy and lack an inherent fear of people. i will start a conversation with anyone. I'm also kind of an intellectual. i like to read and have interesting things to talk about when im with clients (i work in the beauty industry). Spreading ideas and knowledge, and equality are really important to me. i think thats definitely libra talking. Im also really good at getting to the bottom of a dispute and hashing it out with people. I don't like conflict but i think that my mercury in taurus, opposed my pluto within less than 1 degree, makes me a stubborn extremist when it comes to certain topics. At work and socially there are things i wont talk about, but personally i will argue longer than anyone, hold a grudge till the end of time, and seeth with resentment internally. personally, i feel like my libra ascendant is the voice of reason in my chart, telling me to choose my battles.
