Mine is in Taurus.. IDK if that fits me though... Ironically my progressed Asc is also in Taurus... I cant really tell how thats fitting in with me. IP: Logged |

My draconian ascendent is Scorpio. I honestly don't put much stock into the ascendent appereance thing at all. Nevertheless, with all my light features it really doesn't fit, hah.------------------

Draconic combo is Scorp/Libra/Aries. I have those so-called Aries marks of some facial scars from being an impetuous kid, but who doesn't. Hair has a huge amount of red in it, to the point that I had to dye it an ash tone to get rid of that blazing color that it used to get when in the sun. I don't walk w.my head down. Average height, yes. Head isn't long, but it is wide at the top and tapers down to the chin. No bushy eyebrows. Bigger than avg pores, yes. Coarse skin, no. Wavy hair, yes. Hair growing upward and backward, in the front yes, doesn't want to sit so I have to work with it. Walk fast, yes. Large teeth, no.
Radix is Aries MC, which also plays into appearance so for me it's hard to tell the 2 apart.

my personal planets change to virgo and Sagittarius. My cancer ascendant changes to libra and my midheaven becomes cancer. Is that with everyone? and obviously my natal midheaven aries becomes my descendant. The same thing happens to my dads chart, hes a cancer rising too. Our ascendant degrees are also the same lmao.
My moms ascendant becomes gemini ascendant becomes capricorn her natal midheaven aquarius so its a bit random. IP: Logged |

mine is capricorn. I don't think I look (or act) Cappish, although I do have prominent cheekbones . . . which could also be from Saturn aspecting my tropical ascendant.I like my Draconic chart because it gives me much more balance, but I don't relate to it at all. In my tropical chart I am heavily fire and water dominant, with a singleton earth Neptune and an air ascendant. But in my Draconic chart I have actually much more air than anything else. IP: Logged |

WEll, the Draconic chart is based on calculation with the NORTH Node, and therefore probably putting a spotlight on "development-potential".
I think we can only identify with our Draconic chart strongly, if it reflects some constellations from the tropical.
But even if this is not the case, it does not mean that the Draconic chart is "wrong", "invalid" or "meaningless", just like the North Node is not meaningless, just because we don`t identify with its characteristics - yet.IP: Logged |

My Draconic ASC is Scorpio and people sometimes say I'm quiet... However my mercury is retrograde so that could contribute as to why.

Mine's in Capricorn. People do see me as unemotional and heartless when I really am not. This plus my natal ascendant's emotional detachedness makes it even worse.------------------

I think the draconic chart works the same way as the natal chart but from a "deeper" perspective.I know that what I've said makes as much sense as those "new age" concepts of "self-actualization" and "conscious awareness" etc. But I am convinced that the position of the draconic Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/Mars shows the "intention" behind the energy of the planets. It is interesting to note that, in the draconic chart, there are many conjunction cross-aspects(very close degrees to EXACT) between people that we feel drawn to, are married to or are related to. My mother has her draconic Sun conjunct my Dad's draconic Moon by less than 1 Degree. My sister has her draconic Sun conjunct my draconic Moon Exact. My father has his draconic Saturn conjunct my Mom's draconic Sun EXACT. Both sisters have Uranus,in the case of the younger, and Mars, in the case of the older, conjunct my Mothers Mercury EXACT. The older sister has draconic Pluto conjunct my draconic Mercury. She also has draconic Mercury conjunct my draconic Moon. The younger sister has her draconic Moon conjunct my draconic Pluto. My Dad's draconic Uranus and Mom's draconic Mars conjuncts my draconic Asc.
My younger sisters draconic MC conjuncts my draconic Mars(less than a degree). She also has her draconic Asc conjunct my draconic Mercury.
The older sister has her draconic MC conjunct my Moon. There are too many connections between us to detail here. And I've just covered the conjunctions. There are also close to exact oppositions and exact squares. So I would say that the draconic asc is NOT what you "look" like per se. But it could be the intention behind the Asc? In my case, the draconic Asc is in Aquarius. So,even though the natal Asc is in Aries- tendency to view the world as challenging and wanting to succeed at it. The intention behind my natal Asc in Aries i.e the draconic Asc in Aquarius would be the "why?". Why do I view the world as challenging and feel a need to succeed? This question is answered when I see the injustices of many, the poverty of many and the dire conditions that many human beings are forced to live under.(Aquarius) For me, this rings true as I am for social change and progress. I don't like dogma and campaign for the unification of all people; unity and sisterhood of human beings. I am usually the first to speak up of an injustice to a certain group of people For someone who has Aries Asc but draconic Asc in Pisces, they would see the world in a similar way that I do but their draconic Asc in Pisces would ask why they see the world as I do? But their answers/ intent would be differing from mine. Perhaps they'd see the psychological ills of the less fortunate? Animal cruelty? the oppression of minority groups? Deviant spiritual practices masked to "save" the gullible? etc. I'd imagine that they would be pioneers(Aries Asc) in fields of psychiatric treatment,Minority rights activists, spiritual concerns and human emotional well-being.
