i have venus quincunx chiron exact, and i seem cursed when it comes to relationships, all my experiences with love have been very painful to me,i have read that where chiron is placed or aspected in the chart there will always be pain or struggle in that area of life ,does that mean i will always have pain in love? my venus takes a beating elsewhere too,it squares the moon, pluto, uranus, and mars.but i have always felt this particular aspect is the biggest challenge in my life, does anybody else have this aspect? how has it affected your love life or relationships?

omg lol I have venus AND moon square chiron both by 1 degree.

It just makes me terribly sensitive, and feel the need to give and give and give... and secretly feel inadequate.

They say chiron are wounds, and I can relate to that. Did you have a hard upbringing or parents that made you feel bad about yourself? I did.

With Chiron-Venus aspects, there is a tendency to give, and give, and give again in close personal and love relationships, and a tremendous fear of rejection from a lover. No matter how much these people do for a partner, they never feel it is enough. Early experiences of rejection or other problem relationships helps these people to learn a tremendous amount about love and relationships, and they can easily be turned to for very insightful advice about human interactions. Applying this wisdom on a personal level is the challenge, as Chiron-Venus people need to first heal their own deep fears of not being "good enough". They need to learn to love themselves and to make sure their partners are meeting them halfway. They might also be attracted to partners who need help, but with the hard aspects, it might be hard to get back the same kind of attention or appreciation.

So what if you're brother was more praised about his looks? You know most people only mention a certain thing if it's especially obvious, or it's cos they can't comment on another attribute. I personally think it's alot more flattering to be thought of as eloquent, charming or intelligent. Looks are fleeting anyway.

My Venus and Mars both square my Chiron and this rings true for me. I can give advice but can't figure a damn thing out when it comes to myself. Oh, don't even get me started on the crap Mars square Chiron has caused.

I found this same link lol I have the trine but it is still a tough case but I guess by choice?
"When Chiron is trine Venus difficulties with primary karmic sexual experiences are a major life problem. My files have many examples of very long and demanding love relationships which are very stressful. This native is very alluring to people in general; many people may fall in love with this native during the lifetime, but the native is caught in a stressful love affair which cannot ever be very pleasurable. It is always difficult to know what past-life contents in relationships are unless they have been remembered in regression, but the incidence of relationships coming from much past-life experience is continually coming up in my practice. The theologian of Chart 17 is expressing the trine with a high level of vibration, and his teachings about the true nature of human love and compassion are very beautiful. The channel of Atlantean symbols, Chart 33, has Chiron trine Venus/Mercury in the second house, and she has spent this lifetime in a stressful marriage with a man she has known in many past lives. Natives with Chiron trine Venus can develop the most profound understanding about human love, but that level of understanding usually comes out of very complex and karmic relationships."

It fits perfectly. Like I was saying in the vertex thread, I do get a strong 'I know you from before' in my relationships and they have an extremely karmic feel that I kind of feel I 'have' to go through in order to properly learn about relationships.

Here is for the Square:

"Chiron square Venus sets up the maximum stress between finding a value system which will enhance spirituality, or just giving oneself over to one emotional high after another. Also, Chiron square Venus usually signals heavy duty past life karmic pressure having to do with gender identity. In the esoteric teaching, we are taught that we choose a particular gender identity to balance male/female polarity, anima/animus polarity. Life is no more than an opportunity for experience so that we can become more evolved. And part of being able to become developed involves experiencing both sexes. Often when we are moving into a gender we are unused to there is a lot of stress, and Chiron square Venus indicates this type of stress. Thus, a person with many male past lives may be bom a female this time or vice versa, and this is often shown in the chart with Chiron square Venus. We also see this frequently when Mars is conjunct Venus in the natal chart. This client may be essentially male trying to cope with being female or vice versa, and astrologers can help the client with in depth Mars/Venus counseling. Often this native will cop out of sexual balancing by becoming gay or lesbian, although he or she might accomplish more by switching genders completely. Or, this native may appear to be gay or lesbian while actually being asexual and adjusting to the situation. In all cases, counseling on Mars/Venus energies in the chart will be most enlightening. The astrologer of Chart 22 has experienced deep emotional conflicts and a great struggle with her powerful animus within. The conflict will tend to resolve at the Uranus opposition. It is very likely she has powerful male past lives and that she is learning to use power with female or Venusian means this time."

These are cut and pasted from the link so it might be easier. And..

"Chiron quincunx Venus creates great stress in love affairs which results in keen perception about the motives of other people. With this aspect, it is especially important to determine whether the quincunx is moving in or out of the opposition. When it is moving in, the native is living a life of learning about the greatest possible awareness of a love experience. Chart 4, of a Sanctuary Movement worker, has Chiron moving into the opposition with Venus. She experienced many traumatic love affairs before her Saturn return and now is married to a man who shares her deep intensity about love. Her beautiful and sensitive understanding about love has developed her into a person of deep compassion. Chart 34 is that of Michel de Nostradame, Nostradamus, and he deeply loved a young woman and his three little children, but they all died of the plague. In his chart, Chiron is quincunx Venus, and because of his great tragedy, Nostradamus learned to heal the plague and saved millions. His South Node is advanced in vibration, being 29 degrees of Virgo in the sixth house, and we can see he is a great healer from many past lives who came back to serve the race once more.

Chiron opposite Venus creates a receptivity to the alchemical nature of Venus which is almost overpowering. The native is completely receptive and open to others, and unless great control is indicated in the chart by other planetary positions and aspects, he or she is very nervous.
This native is alluring, often seems to be from another planet, and often has unusual intuitive understanding of the esoteric because of the ancient occult connection with Venus.
The orbit of Chiron is very elliptical, and many researchers, including Velikovsky, have brought forth much evidence of a severe disbalancing of the orbit of Venus around 1500 B.C., when I believe Chiron died. Many of the most hidden teachings are connected to such theories which relate Venus to catastrophic cycles already discussed in Chapter Two. Venus rules eros, the feminine receptive power to uranian kundalini energy. The teachings involve opening ourselves to this energy and the experience is chaotic to some degree.
Since receptivity in consciousness is strongly related to the level of fear in the psyche of any individual, many researchers, including myself, believe there is great collective amnesia about a catastrophe involving Venus around 1500 B.C.. This can manifest as a dissociative anxiety complex which attaches itself to any potential fear in the environment. Esoteric mastery training investigates the secrets of Venus eventually, and much of this training has to do with breaking through fear. Now with research on Chiron and the coming work on Nibiru, the awareness of the relation of the 1500 B.C. catastrophe to Venus, Chiron, and Nibiru will grow. And natives with Chiron opposite Venus will have a primary ability to understand this deep level of the occult. Aleister Crowley, master occult wizard, with Chiron opposite Venus, is a great example of this dynamic."

I have Venus quincunx Chiron too. Venus is also square Saturn in my chart, but seems to translate alright. I experienced true and deep love very young and remained in that relationship for about 15 years. It ended poorly and I endured a lot in learning to move on from the experience, but ultimately I feel lucky. A bit like I have experienced something others may never be able to experience.

I am looking into becoming a monastic this year and I feel as though I can go forward without wondering what true love ever felt like. Maybe Chiron being part of a grand trine with Saturn and Mercury, or Chiron sextiling Jupiter has something to do with it. Maybe it's due to the fact that Venus and Chiron are quincunx, but in opposing Signs (Chiron Taurus 1 degree H1 quincunx Venus Scorpio 29 degree H8).Maybe it's just me being an annoyingly optimistic Sagittarius, but when I am wounded I look at it as more stuff to learn from.
