Hi Folks Do you know ? Just wanted to know Air - Idealistic Water- Realistic What about remainder Earth Fire Just to add.... http://songsdomain.tripod.com/scorpio/page2.html Scorpio, you see, is privy to one of the most profound and disturbing secrets of human nature: all individuals carry within them a dark side. Scorpio cannot afford to be romantic, because he knows perfectly well that alongside mankind's nobility and greatness he is also still an animal, and not a very attractive one at that. We mentioned that the element of air is idealistic. In principle, man is fundamentally good. The element of water is more realistic. Principles are lovely, but life is different. No wonder Scorpio sometimes seems deeply cynical. How could he be otherwise, when he is constantly barraged with the unwelcome and unoffered sight of everyone's dirty linen, including his own? Water signs *can be* dreamy and delusional (at their worst) at times. Earth is more realistic.IP: Logged |

Yes, water and air are emotionally unstable, idealistic, romantic dreamers who live in their own world....indecisive, flexible and accomodating and really need the company and approval of other people. Fire and Earth signs are stubborn, opinionated, dictatorial, rational and realistic and are much more independent. They don't need other people or the approval of others nearly as much. Air and water signs both fear being alone immensely and are emotional and dreamy...earth and fire signs are not as emotional and arent too afraid of being alone, and they are less afraid to live in the real world and are much less idealistic. An earth and fire person together would probably lead to a lot of stubborn arguing as they are both opinionated and lile to call the shots. An air and water sign together find things in common because they are both sweet idealistic and charming but they cannot find the emotional stability they beed from each other as they are both too changeable an indecisive to give each other that stability. So air goes best with fire because air accomdoates fire and needs someone with strong opinions and a sense of the real world and confidence and determination which fire has. And fire needs someone who will follow them bc they want to be the leader. Air will do that happily. As will water, but they have different values and opinions so water is more compatible with earth. Same goes for earth and water. Earth is opinionated and wants to call the shots and water is happy to be the accompdating partner IP: Logged |

I would say as far as "unstableness" goes, FIre is much more "unstable" than Air. Air floats on an even buzz.IP: Logged |

That's why if you notice air and water men and women are more feminine than fire and earth men and women who tend to be macho men and the women tomboyish with stronger less fragile/vulnerable looking expressions and square jaws and strong featuresIP: Logged |

That's true about air vs fire. Air is more emotionally vulnerable than fire but keeps it all inside. I would say that air only seems to float on an even buzz, but are pretty emotional. But air signs are much more emotional on the inside than fire signs in my opinion...IP: Logged |

I don't get how square jaws have anything to do with emotions.Quite a few people I know with Earth Moons (specifically Virgo) have been diagnosed as bipolar. I'm triple Air and I doubt anyone on this board (and IRL) would say I'm emotionally unstable. Can't really comment on Water Moons because I'm only close to one (she is a well known wack job amongst my friends so). My ex with a Leo Moon was the craziest person I have ever dealt with. Everyone has emotional vulnerabilities and I don't think it's necessarily dictated by sign. My Moon makes harmonious aspects and the only hard aspect it makes is an opposition from Jupiter (an easy opposition). And since I'm a triple Air, my wants and needs are never at war with each other. Certain tense aspects can lead to internal emptional strife such as a square to an outer planet. I've noticed people with Saturn and Uranus square to their Moon may build walls to keep others out or are just out right manic. IP: Logged |

Traditionally, Femininity has to do with vulnerability. Femininized placements will not only make someone emotionally vulnerable but will also give them a feminine fragile appearance. Anyone who practices astrology should know that natal placements influence not only our personality but our appearance.IP: Logged |

Higher testosterone levels during puberty lead to square/stronger jawsNot sure how it links astrologically...probably a matter of progressions IP: Logged |

I hope you realize that Air and Fire are masculine (assertive), Earth and Water are Feminine (passive).IP: Logged |

From what i've noticed, air signs seem to wish to get rid of emotions completely and almost wish they didnt have them at all. Yet, they are still very much in need of someone who will be strong support who they can lean on who isnt as indecisive or weak as them. I've known tons of air signs in my life and i have to say all of them were emotional, they would just be one of the last to admit it since they pride themselves so much on their ability to reason things outIP: Logged |

Imagine a sterotypical Aquarius wanting someone to lean on lol. Or being indecisive about anything.I think you want Air signs to need you. IP: Logged |

I still stand behind the idea that air signs want to show themselves that way to the world--as warriors who are very independent. But they are not like that and are really sentimental. Why do u think astrologers always say that air and water need other people while earth and fire signs don't?IP: Logged |

And of course aquarius strongly needs other people despite their periods of isolation....Remember the polarity of Aqua-Leo? Someone with a north node in leo needs to not be afraid to take the spotlight and do for THEMSELVES rather than others....and to be more independent. It is a similar theme with the polarity of Aries-Libra and Gemini-Sagittarius going from leaving needing other people so much to not being afraid of standing on your own two feet.Or how about the polarity of cancer-capricorn? Isnt a north node in capricorn person required to be more independent and not be afraid to stand on their own two feet in the real world? How about the polarity of Pisces-Virgo? Is it not the same thing? It's very obvious. IP: Logged |

Air signs can go either way and are often a mix of both idealism and realism. We will try to persuade with logical arguments and will understand the other side (realism), but the goals that we aim for/hope for can be idealistic. Earth signs, definitely realistic. Fire, again, a mix of both. They tend to be upfront, direct, and honest (barring odd exceptions), which would be realistic--that's their form of realism: they admit the truth/"tell it like it is" (as they see it). On the idealistic side, though, they can be very optimistic and dream big dreams. Water, Scorpio would be more realistic. Pisces would be the most idealistic and dreamy, but would also have a realistic understanding of things, though perhaps this uglier side of life wouldn't appeal to Pisces. Cancer could be idealistic, but pessimistic at the same time. IP: Logged |

I dont know when it was the last time you met an indecisive fire sign, but i have never met one ever. Yet, air signs have a strong history of being called indecisive. Aquarius may not be apparently indecisive, since it shares the strong pride thing with its polar opposite leo, but trust me, they are indecisive. Why else are air signs in general so changeable?IP: Logged |

My first long term boyfriend was a Leo with a Sag Moon and can not for the life of him stand up for himself in relationships. I could've walked all over him if I were cruel enough (and sometimes I was, admittedly). His next girlfriend (a Gem Sun/Cap Moon) was a psycho and was able to manipulate him against his friends whom he'd known for years. It took him FOREVER to dump her, even when all signs pointed to yes. My afformentioned Water Moon friend is a Sag with Cancer Moon and she always needs my approval before she makes important decisions. I'm like, dude, it's your life, not mine.IP: Logged |
