While both sentiments is not a particullarly nice thing to say about any Sun sign,I am neither. My daughter says we are delicate creatures, with tiny little backbones..but that is really our sensitivity and overly-niceness. I am honest to a fault, dont see the point in lying, never have. Yes, we are odd, but it takes a loooong time to really get to know a Pisces, we figure anybody who is worth hangin with will hang around.  And we really dont care what anybody thinks about us anyway. Now, having said, that...when I am pushed, pushed and pushed, my mermaid tail turns into my Scorpio asc's stinger and my stings run deep. But that doesnt impress me much either...Would rather float along in my dreamy world, not be bothered. IP: Logged |

ive read before that pisces children, or strong pisces placements like the moon, ascendent or neptune need to be taught at an early age that lying isnt ok becuase it can become a habit later in life. i dont think that its done out of harm, but just a lie to fit in or make up some story that sounds fun. i have very strong neptune placements and im not gonna lie ha! i use to lie a lot when i was little. it wasnt anything bad but i was a big story teller like i would say i had a sister or at one time a brother and i was an only child.sometimes my stories were very outlandish and i would say i was attacked by a bear and thats why i had a gash in my arm or i would try to convince people if you sweat enough on your feet you can walk up walls. obviously or hopefully people new i was lying but yeah.. i dont do it anymore if i dont want to tell the truth i just go around the subject haha and be secretive, but i think it had do with my harsh aspects to jupiter/neptune. my sun,mars,merc sqaure them and neptune trines my ascendent by 0 degrees and trines my moon. they pretty much aspect every planet in my chart. i have a friend whos sun is conjunct neptune and her rising is in pisces and she makes things up all the time. most of the time you cant tell if shes telling the truth or not. but its all out of fun and vivid imagination which pisces is very much intuned with. i knew 2 other people who had pisces moons and they would lie to get out of confrontation all the time. but i never held it against them ha. i think too that since pisces is so absorbing that they sometimes lose their identity when theyr around people, i only say that because 2 of my close pisces friends went through so many changes everytime they made a new group of friends. i noticed it with girls more than guys though.. and neither had aries placements which i think (obviously) alters pisces a bit. just like alll the other placements. i really like the sign pisces and im very fond of any neptune placement. theyr empathetic, and a bit goofy at times i like it cause you can talk to a pisces about anything and they can relate. i seem to attract pisces.. or at one time of my life i did a lot ha. ive never had a pisces guy though, but ive had so many crushes on them.... Lol.. ney, i dun think they are liars more than any other signs. Pisces prob just only didn't tell the truth to not hurt anyone's feelings. There is a difference, to lie VS concealing the truth. I know a pisces moon. Always tell the truth except what he doesn't want to reveal to u. IP: Logged |

Im a Pisces, but I admit having an Aries mercury/venus,and my house of communication in sag...so you better bet I have a backbone and I WILL fight back. I also have a Scorpio mars and aquarius moon, so I'm tough and not all that 'emotional'.
I will personally tell you, I'm not fond of Pisces, in fact I hate them in a very odd way. I don't like water signs period, but they aren't liars, they're just backstabbers. This is why I hate them, you CANNOT trust the shady Pisces because their emotions rule them unless they learn to overcome it, if they learn to let their head take control, than it'll be okay. Personally not a sign of me, but that's just me and my experiance.IP: Logged |

I'm raising a pisces sun, son...
This is what I know, they naturally tend to be passive aggressive. They fear telling the truth because they don't want to hurt or disappoint anyone, they say what they believe will make others happy and that's not necessarily the truth all the time.
But...if raised in a family that allows them to learn that emotions expressed is a strength not a weakness and they are taught lies are what hurt not the truth and are given room to tell the truth without consequence or fear of rejection or disappointing those they love, these negative traits can be overcome and the high side of pisces is an amazing intuitive, thoughtful, caring, spritual soul full of questions and full of answers!It's imperative they learn that lies are what really hurt and disappoint...if they don't learn that they will potentially use lies as an escape from dealing with the reality of poor decisions instead of learning how to make good decisions.

I agree with the pathological liar part. Pisces is ruled by Neptune planet of illusion (or delusions). They can create any image they want and usually get away with a LOT because they seem sensitive/calm/collected. People see them with blurry vision. Pisces is the least emotional of the water signs. Combine that with the blurry vision (Neptune influence) and you get a shape-shifter who does exactly what they want and creates an image of exactly what they want you to see. IP: Logged |

Pisces and Cancer are very complex signs both ruled by Neptune, Cancer esoterically. Pisces is elusive, period. No way getting around this, if you recognize this before going into a relationship you will fair much better. Elusiveness is their protection.Yes, Pisces is odd, all water signs are odd, this is a very difficult element. Water creates odd conflicting emotions. I personally think Cancer gets the worse because of the Moon, but Pisces is right up there. Emotions, experiences, thoughts, perceptions, sensations they can get turned around in the water signs, things turn into contradiction and confusion. So why does having a backbone make you a great person? Jesus didn't have a "backbone", he let everyone walk all over him, he let himself be crucified for his belief, he didn't have a fighting bone in his body but if the story of Jesus is real, he was an exceptional person... Actually, you wouldn't want to tick Jesus off at you, he'd open a can of whoop ass. An example:cleansing the temple  He also told people to sell their garments if they had to and buy a sword, and that he didn't come to bring peace but rather a sword.
Then there's the whole thing with the fig tree:

The guy can supposedly raise the dead to life but he can't make a fig tree bloom out of season? That doesn't make sense (unless you assume he's a fraud because you could fake those people into thinking you raised the dead, but not bloom a fig tree--but could easily arrange to have the fig tree wither in a day, and btw, I believe the official explanation is that Mark's account is accurate while Matthew, which states the tree instantly withered, is not). In any case, that was a pretty hostile thing to do when he could've used his supposed powers more constructively than to curse & wither. Though that said there are some impressive Pisces fighters (including street fighters) out there. I often make fun of the idea of Pisces cops but in reality they're about the last ones I'd want to have to tangle with if I had reason to evade the police (in large part because I think some are perhaps the hardest sign to bluff, they'll see through your BS faster than Scorpio, and I expect the Pisces cops are of this variety and not the martyr type). I love my Pisces guy. I wouldn't say he untruthful or a "liar" but he can withhold information.. which i never press him for. I've just learned that he will keep some things private. That's just the way he is. He never withholds anything important though, which is what matters most to me  He tells me the big picture and lets me paint in the details with my own imagination. I know him pretty well, so its easy. He's told me I am the only person on Earth that knows as much about him as i do <3 Also he stands up for himself, and will stand up for others. IP: Logged |

Not very fond of most Pisces (or Pisces placements) because they ALWAYS play the victim and they just always pity themselves and always feel bad for themselves. Not saying all but most do this and I find it soooooo pathetic , honestly I hate that so much in a person! Plus I don't trust them , they are extremely secretive people (something I also hate in people) , unless I ask specifically about something ,they won't tell you about it ever.Im not saying all are like this but most are. All I notice about them is they are very street smart and tend to have abilities, like sewing or they make good students, stuff like that. They tend to be teacher's pets types and they don't go against authority. They are go-with-the-flow types. From what I have seen they absolutely hate to be in charge.
