I know. There's more than one sign, but since I don't know ever Libra's personal planets I'm sticking to Suns in general. Any thoughts on this? I've heard conflicting opinions in that Libra is very refined, but that Libra enjoys Aries' fiesty personality and bluntness. Lately it's been my experience they're very refined conversationalists who never interrupt and I always get secretly embarrassed/mad at myself for doing so afterwards.

Honestly, No. As a Libra Sun, I love Aries individuals. My mom's an Aries and I've had many good friends who have been Aries and I think you guys are great. The thing with us Libra's is that we prefer things a certain way and to portray ourselves in a certain way to the world, but we in now way desire or request that anyone else behave in anyway that doesn't suit who they are and how they choose to be.

Basically we love Aries people as they are. Don't worry about how you may come off to us because we think you're awesome as you are. We can be pretty demure and eloquent in conversations and appearance which might make others think they have to mirror us or we'll think negatively of them, but that's not true at all. Being a Libra these Venusian traits come naturally to me and I'd only expect those who were different from me allowed their most natural qualities and traits to shine through. As a Aries/Mars dominant individual be yourself, if that's bold and outgoing then alright, and no worries about what us Libra's think. Coming from one I think Aries people are awesome.

Well said NJ! I find it interesting because I feel I can be myself the most around Libra men. Just being around them brings out my lighthearted sassiness and being blunt whereas around other people I'm much more thoughtful and focused.

This is what I can't figure out! From what you've said and what I've read about Libras in general, I ACT like a Libran. Yes, I'm outspoken and get annoyed easy but that's about it as far as my Ariesness goes. I wonder if because I have a Taurus moon that gives me Libra-ish traits since they're both ruled by Venus? My moon is strongly aspected in comparison to my Aries Sun, Mercury, and Venus. My North Node though is in Pisces, though.

In any case, as an Aries I really value Libra's thoughtfulness and calm demeanor. Even the two Libra guys that suddenly popped up in my life! I'm not used to a guy who's a good listener.

Yes because natural inclination of Aries is power over others, inconsideration and control for self benefit. It is the opposite of what libra stands for.

My Aries brother married a Libra and they are SOUL MATES. My Libra sister-in-law gushes about my brother like they just fell in love....and they've been together for 25 years!

Not usually. Almost all of my aries sun friends I get along with. (But then again, most have their venus/mercury in non-aries ruled signs) Which make them sort of mellow, especially the pisces one!

I don't get along with my mom a lot. She's a mercury/venus aries. She gets aggressive with me like she wants to start a fight.
I being a Libra mercury/venus I'm all chilled out about it, just responding as nicely as I could to get her to calm down, but most of the time she doesn't. She wants to provoke a response from me, but it angers her even more that I won't give her one.
So I'll just leave the room, maybe cry for a while, thinking about how immature my mother is.

Not this Libra sun. I love love love Aries. But then again I have a lot of fire. I'd much prefer a brash Aries to a beat-around-the-bush Cancer anyday.

hmmm, we seem to have this conversation a few times over... You have a stellium of cappi planets IN 7th house libra natural home THEY are angular. so to refresh your memory about this....
Houses: angular houses 1/7 4/10 the energies of planets placed here are obvious cos it's your 'shop window' visible for everyone to see. Next the succeedent houses 2/8 & 5/11 the energies in these houses are not in shop window the are in the shop, but stood behind the counter, ready to come out when needed. Lastly, cadent houses 6/12 & 3/9 these houses/planets are not in shop window or stood behind the counter, they are in the back storeroom and only come out when 'triggered' or an emergency and much harder to recognise and access...

The houses are like the backdrop of a stage, the setting if you like, the planets are like actors and the aspects are how the planets behave in that settings/stage....

taurus exalted moon does have some libran traits as has already been suggested to you. I'm a taurus sun/stellium and trust me we have expensive tastes, like the finer things in life, espec clothes, shoes, jewellry, in fact I could give Amelda Marcus a run for her money with shoes. Libras do not have the monopoly on refined matters and trust me Librans *can have* an argumentative streak if too bored or feeling mischievous..

Not when wer'e bored. The sign of 'justice' doesn't like it when things are unbalanced and something is not fair (like an accusation for instance) and at these times won't take any crap. But until it gets to that point, we will be pleasant, as confrontation is not our thing really.

Thanks, but there wasn't a need to explain that here. Sure, I mentioned that to Regardes because it got brought up but overall the thread is about how Libras respond to Aries.

I could see that. Mercury AND Venus in Libra would drive me nuts (I have Merc and Venus in Aries). I think to an Aries, the calmer you are when we're upset the more upset we get because you're not reacting. Reacting is how you show an Aries you care, by giving us that control for a little bit. Of course I never do that though, I'm just talking about those "unevolved" Aries. Tsk, tsk. I'm perfect. :P

In an unhealthy or unevolved Aries, yes.

A healthier and more higher-evolved Aries would likely be brave, generous, chivalrous, and would be a leader without trampling over others. Yes, OK, a little selfish and maybe inconsiderate at times, as Leo too can be sometimes, but still very giving and loving.

I'd say that the good fire sign people can be inconsiderate occasionally, but the good and healthy ones are seldom intentionally malicious: caring but careless is more like it, at least in the good fire sign people that I know.

Now, the bad ones, on the other hand, absolutely ARE intentionally and knowingly selfish and inconsiderate, without any desire to change or keep it under control."

Not necessarily, Regardes. Fleurdelis has a point. It's just there's a negative connotation associated with "power over others and control for self-benefit." Although being inconsiderate is just a symptom of obliviousness and can be corrected at any time.

For example, I want power over others to show them how to be nice, to teach people how to care about others and lift others up. It would benefit me if people were this way but it would also benefit everyone else, no? Is that a weak argument, lol?

No. I like the energy of Aries. The only time that I have a problem with this sign is when I'm dealing with someone who only has their Mercury in Aries because it falls into my 3H. The person may not know it, but they challenge me on everything without even being right.

Lol. Is your Sun in Aries as well? If it is we won't have a problem. People with Mercury in Aries alone get under my skin. I knew a Taurus Sun guy who had Mercury in Aries and he was always wrong, but thought he knew everything. Another is an Aries Sun. We have our differences, but have managed to stay good friends.

Yes it is! I also generally try to be tactful unless someone is really getting under my skin or pushing my buttons.
