Hi everyone. What would your interpretations of sun conjunct venus in the 8th (obviously very attractive and sexual). That also is opposing neptune. Would the latter aspect taint the conjunction? ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

With Neptune involved you probably won't see each other clearly. One or both of you may idealize the other and have high expectations that can easily be deceived. I am not too fond of hard Neptune aspects in synastry or composite because they tend to make people confused or too unrealistic about the situation. Saturn aspects may ground things a bit, but illusions are still likely, so be careful!IP: Logged |

This is how I handle neptune in composite or synastry. I am good at reading people so I make sure to read the person well and get to know them for a while and once I know all their defects I then decide to focus on what I like about them and enjoy whatever neptune aspect I have with this person bc neptune does feel nice and I feel as long as you are aware of the person's defects its ok to engage in healthy fantasy with who you are attracted to. You can enjoy neptune I feel without it getting out of hand by been aware of the neptune energy.IP: Logged |

Here's the strange thing (and I am wondering if this is the neptune aspect or not, I am doing LOTS of thinking about this and everything it relates to). When I first met him within 2 seconds I thought "nope, not physically attracted", which is a red flag because (as much as I don't like it), that part is the most important thing to me. Then I found myself over meeting him, that I was actually rather attracted to him. Then a few days later, it just... died. The physical attraction is gone, and I don't know why it vanished but it did. Anyway I digress. In synastry it's actually not that good of a matchup. His sun and moon square my sun and mercury. His saturn also sits directly on top of my ascendent, and his ascendent opposes all of my gemini planets. I have heard someone describe venus opposing neptune as "beautiful illusions" and I am wondering if that is what drove the attraction in the first place. ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

Physical attraction is really important to me too .I have notice venus/mars aspects combined with venus/mars to uranus or to pluto aspects usually result in strong physical attraction with excitement and depth if you have all at once with one person. Neptune I feel can be nice if the synastry and composite are also strong but with weak synastry and or composite yeah I would imagine it would lead to straight up fleeting delusions. IP: Logged |
