Topic: Moon Signs and What Makes You Feel Good

Since the Moon is the sign of comfort, I was wondering how what relaxes you relates to your Moon sign.Sex on many different levels probably relaxes me the most. It has to be intimate, though, and soulful. That deep kind of intimacy makes me feel totally at peace. As well as just the plain sexual release and the feeling of regeneration that comes from it. I'm really sensitive to the rhythms of my libido, so to speak. If I don't engage in some sexual release every day, I feel really tense as well as empty. Moon's in Scorpio. I also really love taking hot showers. I guess we could talk about houses, too. My Moon's in the 9th (near the end). I do really feel at ease when I'm engaging with the outside world and embarking on adventures. Travel relaxes me as well as novelty and new experiences.

My Moon is in Capricorn, in the Fifth.The best situation for me are relaxing at night with my closest friends at (someone's) home, undisturbed by other people. I also really like dinner parties or video game nights, theatre outings... Bottom line: I love anything governed by the Fifth. I really resonate with Fifth House matters. I like to read, listen to music, watch movies, go walking somewhere peaceful with someone and create things. Whether it be crafts or drawings, oh and talk to people I trust. Libra moon. 7th house. IP: Logged |

I generally have a number of projects which I can work on or put away, depending on my mood. I find comfort in being productive. Even in meditation or spiritual study, I am the most comfortable when my actions result in self refinement (as the simple acquisition of knowledge is rarely satisfying). My moon in scorpio in the 2nd house. As far as what relaxes me? Many things. One of the biggest things that will cheer me up and make me feel better is good food. Going to a gormet resturant tops the list. Spending time by myself without having to hold a schedule. Listening to music. Deeply plunging into a fantasy world in my mind (that often turns sexual... heh). I guess that suffices for that. ------------------

moon in saggitarius in 2nd house...what makes me relaxed? when i am with fun people, thinking about nothing (and i mean,not thinking about my other problems and just having fun, relaxing, enjoying the moment) being able to go to different places, new and exciting. moon in pisces first house:reading, writing, cooking, eating, sex, dancing, listening to music, playing piano, talking with friends, daydreaming(!!!), driving aimlessly, philosophizing, playing chess, learning about the stars, exploring the unexplored, self-reflection, swimming, hiking, being active, shopping (online, though, i hate the mall--too many people).

What makes me feel good, comforted..Hmmm, in short, some humor, laughter, music, the company of close friends & family, affection (not too much or I would start doubting it's real). Pretty simple things for me.  Moon in Leo (10th house)

moon in aquarius in the 5th house. I am happy being alone introspecting most of the time. I do enjoy company of people but only those I am close to - like family and friends. I guess I prefer deep meaningful relationships rather than superficial ones.. which seems weird esp when moon is in the 5th house of creativity, fun, romance and children. lol hot showers?? sometimes when im taking a shower i poke my head out just to catch my breath cos the warm water is overwhelming! I don't think i ever relax. I try to but then i just ruin my happiness or calmness. I feel like somethings up and i question it. Then i just go back to being negative. But that could all just be because I have depression ahahah. But listening/singing along to music makes me feel good for a while. Or learning something too is relaxingish but more fun i guess. Weird, I was just thinking on this the other day. I have Moon in Taurus typically in the 11th. I realized I feel most comforted by touching, hugs specifically. Basically just swaddle me in a plush blanket and I'll be a happy camper. I was thinking how this aids to the texture and physicality of Taurus and soothes the "baby" found in Arians. I have Moon opp. Pluto Scorpio in the 5th, and also Moon trine Saturn in Cap in the 11th. I think these two aspects kind of make me come off cold and unapproachable so it's harder for others to know exactly how to comfort me unless their VERY in tune. IP: Logged |

Define "self refinement" for me please?
I don't get it in practical terms I mean. Do you mean like doing something for your body, mind, spirit that is what? Because you say "acquisition of knowledge" is "rarely satisfying" so HOW do you refine yourself at an intellectual level if not via acquisition of knowledge?
I'm genuinely interested (as you know) in your Virgo Moon.

I have Moon in Taurus in the late degrees of the 3rd house. Massages and anything to do with touch (hugs, kisses, sensual sex) truly relaxes me. Talking/communicating with people I love also has a relaxing effect. Home-made food especially when it's nutritious and wholesome (Moon trine Pluto in Virgo house 8).
Reading, writing (Moon in house 3), traveling (Moon opp Venus in the 9th), exercising (Moon sq Mars in the 1st) are also ways to lose the tension and enjoy myself.
But I also have a thing about the sea... I can watch the waves for hours... a very relaxing effect on my psyche no matter how they appear (sometimes they don't look or sound very peaceful lol but this doesn't bother my moon at all): Moon opp Neptune
My Moon also makes me a private person since it's conj my IC. Although as a Sag sun with Jup in Libra and Aqua rising with a Jup-ruled 11th house I love being around people, at the same time I crave the intimacy and privacy of my own space and that is where I recharge and truly relax. Also, something about beauty in the home environment makes me feel "whole" and very deeply happy. It's very important to me to be surrounded by beauty and to have some control over my physical environment (I "nest" very easily and fast wherever I live - Venus in the 9th opp my Moon- I change homes often but I always make them my nests however little I happen to live in them if that makes any sense).

Solitude makes me very comfortable. I think I'm most comfortable and happy when I'm around my family, with whom I can let my guard down. It's takes a longgg time for me to be able to trust you and be myself. It's difficult with a 12th house stellium to be sure of who I am... I also need my alone time to recharge from work and school. I like spending time by myself but I do tend to feel lonely, so I need family. I also like to socialize and party but not often. Those activities deal with superficiality and I can't take too much of that. I love to spend time with my family, eat out, and hangout with my dog. Babies, puppies, and bunnies, anything like resembes a labrador makes me really happy. I'm honestly a softie. Taurus 12th/Scorpio 6th/Cancer IP: Logged |

Before I had kids, I could spend a whole day browsing a book store. Bonus points if there was coffee and good conversation Now, I can spend a whole day at home listening to music or NPR/NPR podcasts, reading, watching movies, and talking about it all with my husband and children.
