I see the squares to but you have to take the whole picture into account. The Pisces moon conj Jupiter and the trines would modify the hard aspects ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I'm extremely empathetic. You have no idea. I've had to learn to channel it so it doesn't affect my personal life too much. My jupiter(5th house) placements are, conjunct sun and pluto. Trine ascendant and midheaven. I also have moon in pisces in the 12th. My Scorpio neptune is in the 7th, squares mars, trine moon, sextile uranus, midheaven and pluto. IP: Logged |

It depends. If I deem something necessary then I don't only take action, I take massive action. Nothing illegal or anything mind you, I just go the extra mile and then some. If it's something not necessary then I tend to just let it slide on by. There's not much I do halfway-lol. I'm actually in the process of working on doing more things that maybe aren't really necessary but the rewards would be nice if things panned out. IP: Logged |

I have Scorpio Moon in 12th house. You are right about what you said about being able to shut it off, although I'm not in too much control of it. It just kinda happens. My Neptune is in my first house. So I feel alot around me, but I don't always understand it. Interesting, never thought of Jupiter connecting to empathy. Its in my 7th house. Oh boy have the sociopath's aspect lol Jupiter opposite Uranus, but I think the orb is at like...7?------------------ ~Believe~ IP: Logged |

I have Jupiter in the 12th house... the feeling empathy itself is not easily accessed for individuals, or people I am close to. When it's someone who is at a physical distance (like a sad commercial on TV, or receiving news from long-distance friends) it's very easily activated. However, I do notice I help people without expectation of a reward a lot of the time, but usually again this is strangers and not people I'm close to. People I'm close to think I have little to no empathy, I think this is due to my Jupiter being square my Pisces MC. The astro.com interpretation talks about balancing one's interests with another's and often times I'm wishing those closest to me would just do their own thing and appreciate me while I'm there but leave me be when I'm not (vice versa.) However, this aspect also gives me a strong moral compass, and this is where I think my empathy kicks in. Take my friend for example: He'd just broken up with his girlfriend of 3 years whom he thought he was going to marry. In the process of our friendship I inadvertently "set him up" with our mutual co-worker whom he'd had a disliking for up until they started dating. Soon after they got to know each other, she came to him asking for advice about her 2-year relationship and he advised her to dump him. This was sound advice as she'd also asked me what to do as well... it's just she didn't listen to me when I said dump him, but she did my guy friend. Anyway, they're dating now and saying they're so happy and spending all this time together. Energetically, I can see them being a good couple (both do things the "right" and proper way, they follow rules to a T and are soft but strong-willed) but I know SOMETHING is off. I just know it. I can't put my finger on it but it is a strong enough feeling that I was upset at the news they were even together in the first place. Only time will tell I suppose but my gut feelings like that have rarely ever been wrong. What lays in darkness will always come to light.... IP: Logged |

Thanks Hanna! When I put my articles up, I hope for this kind of personal experience. No one is a guru in Astrology.I clearly wrote that I was a almost 3 year student.I am seeking your experiences here so we can learn together. Even a true guru like IQ says he is not because Astrology is too vast for guru status. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

hmmmm, how do you overcome th mars/neptune hard aspect?? Mars square Neptune Mars Neptune Square Mars Neptune Opposition Painful things either ignored ie self deception, or hypochondriac type, imaginary things (Neptune) Deceive or be deceived http://www.astrologyindepth.com/Mars_square_Neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13104&page=2 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11521 http://astrology.astrozoom.com/index.php?title=NEPTUNE_PARALLEL%2C_CONJUNCTION%2C_SQUARE_OR_OPPOSITION_TO_MARS moon in 12th can suggest some resentment towards mother (depending on aspects as well) either smother loved or emotinally neglected? quote: Originally posted by mintgirl123: Yeah Jupiter is ethics + generosity. Jupiter is how we expand and grow, it's modified by sign, then house shows where it wants to grow and expand, and aspects describe how... ami said, quote:
Neptune in hard aspect to the Sun is classic for addictions. Neptune in hard aspect to Mercury is classic for the mind going outside of normal boundaries.
I always try to look for the good in aspects before labelling them as negative or bad. to suggest the above is rather niave... here are some excellent research links.. sun square Neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=322226#post322226 http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39262&highlight=square+neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37149&highlight=square+neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10371&highlight=square+neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34472&highlight=square+neptune http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32673&highlight=square+neptune Firstly, it can show confusions, illusions surrounding father (sun) or his role or absence in a chart.. same with moon hard aspect neptune, confusions around mother.. ------------------ I love the parable, “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, BUT if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for life.” IP: Logged |

Such an interesting thread! I *empathize* with all of you in your trying to get your ideas across. I have an 8th house Pisces moon, and this fits, thank you: quote: Pisces is a very sensitive moon. It’s problem is that it is too sensitive. These natives feel too much, as if they live with a permanently itchy sweater.
I wish someone had sat me down as soon as I could have understood, and explained this to me. I was so confused all through childhood- wondering how people could be so unfeeling? Jupiter in the 9th house squares my sun exactly and squares Pluto with 5 degrees orb. I do have a sensitive conscience and tried to find salvation in Christian orthodoxy at one point. Ultimately I found it insufficient, because I couldn't see how God could love all people and damn some to hell for not being Christians. (There goes my empathy again!) Thanks so much for all these interesting topics, Ami Anne, and your commentary. IP: Logged |

Strange. I quoted your post but this isn't what it said. But anyway, how do I handle the Mars Neptune square? I'm sure I must have some self deception going on, everyone does, but for the most part I pretty much face things head on. Without getting into a long story, a litte shy of 20 years ago I did a big soul searching thing to find out why I kept repeating the same things over and over again and in getting to the truth, I had to ask and honestly answer some very tough questions and even though it was very difficult to face some facets of myself it was very much worth it and periodically, I do mini soul searching sessions and I don't let myself get away with sugar coating anything. So, I guess that's how I handle it. I do have hypochodriatic tendencies. To over come that, I just don't watch anything medical related and I stay away from web md-haha. Hey, wait a minute, that's not overcoming it,it's avoiding it. Well, there you go. (I just read that back and it sounds like I'm being sarcastic-I'm not.) I could write a book about the issues I have with my mother even even though she's been dead 27 years, and that could be why I still carry more around than I should about her. We never got a chance to sit down and hash things out. IP: Logged |

Bump Neptune sq Mars Do you want to discuss it? I would think it would be hard to figure out which actions to take? Is that true?I did not know this was hypochondria? Is it? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
