You can be steadfast all that you want, but once someone starts putting down others for not having the same beliefs or judging them, then that is not allowed here. Christians who do that might want to follow the tenets of the religion they profess to ascribe to and "judge not lest ye be judged." IP: Logged |

Ian I don't think Randall is saying that you can't have your beliefs nor Ariesdragon either but one needs to state one's belief respectfully and leave it at that. ------------------

Ok I re-did my birth chart using whole signs system.I have my moon, mars and sun in the 12th, Libra. My venus is in the 1st. So the ruler of the 12th in the 1st.  IP: Logged |

Well, we need to just state our beliefs like I did on abortion not to glorify myself, but what good would a fight about abortion do? We are here to have a community of many different beliefs. Each person can state his own but then must move on, in my opinion. That is not being a weenie but just being a member of a community with many different people and many polarizing beliefs.

Honestly, I don't even care what anyone else believes How un-Christian-like. Because frankly, why would I even waste my breath trying to convince anyone? All I want is to ensure nobody ever impinges on my ability to quote Scripture whenever I want, and now, I have the inclination to quote Scripture in every post I make. IP: Logged |

No, I'm giving you a warning, because I extended you a courtesy by not warning you the first time...but you insist on celebrating the fact that you feel like you did nothing wrong. I don't care about who quotes scripture. But ariesdragon used it in a directly belittling way toward an individual here. Examples of poor Christian behavior like that defames the religion. Jesus washed the feet of prostitutes. Forgiveness is what Christianity is about, not judging others.IP: Logged |

If we want to enjoy what Randall provides which is a lot, we need to abide by his simple rules of community which are to act respectfully of each other.If not, it would be utter chaos and no one could learn anything. Religion is secondary here. In a church, it would be different but this is not a religious community. We are guests in what Randall provides is my point of view. He asks for simple rules of any community of diverse points of view.------------------

Speaking of scripture, I have a couple of packed strings in LLC2 from a few months back that are filled with quotes, including many Bible verses. Quoting scripture isn't the issue. When it is used to directly condemn someone, then that is a problem. IP: Logged |
