I'm a person with my Sun and Moon in Cancer, and my Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mid-Heaven in Leo.

Would I technically have all of the qualities of a true Cancer/ Leo cusp?

Sorry wouldn't know....

maybe best idea would be to look back at the year you were born and date when what planets were where on date of cusp and compare with your planets but usually cusp is cusp by the date.

Not exactly.

Your "basic" core, is Cancer. Sun and Moon both in Cancer are very strong factors that would make you very lunarian.

But when it somes to communication and love, as well as your public persona, you are Leo-like.

So while deep inside you're very sensitive and caring, you also need things to be "big" in love/career.

The "cusp" thing is pretty much a useless concept. You're either in a sign or you're not. All birth charts have different signs contained within them which makes everyone a blend.

There are things called decanates and duads which are worth exploring. These break the signs down into groups and add depth to the planetary expression.
