To kick this thread off, I'd like to know how to tell if a Leo is TRULY mad and not just being dramatic. I suppose it varies from Leo to Leo, but they stump me in general. So far most of the ones I have met have been very timid around me and it's like I pick up a hint of resentment that I'm more comfortable in my skin than they are. Sounds weird, I know...IP: Logged |

I guess I just find them to get mad very EASILY. I'm a triple Aries with a Taurus moon though... I'm pretty sure my real temper is just as bad as a Leo's normal one but I keep it under wraps better. I'm just kinda obsessed with Leos since I don't understand them, and they don't seem to be very receptive to me. IP: Logged |

Yes, they have tempers. They get mad easily but their tempers don't truly flare. Your Aries temper comes off, but you cool down as fast as your temper gets hot. When a Leo's temper goes off, the Lion/Lioness goes for the full kill and leaves only bones behind. IP: Logged |

If a Leo really loves you.. (whether romantically or otherwise) they will never ever *ever* EVER -- be.. truly mad.. no matter what you do.
They can always focus on the bright side. So even if you have a huge argument or if they sulk or they roar at you and scare you - They will always get over it. If you are neutral for them... just an acquaintance or a distant friend... they will usually not be passionate enough towards you to feel intense anger or intense love or intense hate... So they will just seem 'disinterested' in you - like they could care less.. They simply don't notice you.

Piping up as a Leo Moon, I will say it really hurts to have my sincerity questioned. If I took a risk (i.e.: put the ego on the line ) to demonstrate my affection or kindness for you, I meant it. To me, I think sense of humor is a good way to gauge a Leo. The best Leos are truly big-hearted, and cruel or petty humor repels them. The worst Leos can have a bullying streak and find that kind of "humor" a false source of power. I also think it's a good sign if a Leo is capable of laughing at him or herself (and I've actually know a lot of Leos who can, including some who are seemingly egotistical on the surface). Sometimes a Leo is fully aware of how ridiculous their own dramatic shenanigans are, and they welcome other people who understand it's all just fun and entertainment. My manipulative Leo coworker could not hear or speak one bad word about herself, even in jest, without having a meltdown. SUPER insecure. She also had a mean streak to her sense of humor. I feel this way but I never thought it was due to my Leo sun..... Dramatic, yes.
Warm hearted, yes.
Protector of the weak, yes.
Vain, yes.

How to know when they are mad? I've mellowed down a lot over the last 5 years I am becoming less n less like a Leo in terms of temper. I used to damage doors with chairs/funitures, smashed things I can find, break pens / pencil etc....These days, I seemed to come to a realization that all these dramatic display of temper is beneath the likes of Royalty. My Leo ex told me he was like that when he was younger. But after he was arrested, he realized tearing the place down wasn't going to change a thing, so he resorted to biking, running, motocross, etc.But when we were going out, the temper was still there, but it was more like a low rumble. I can always tell when he was angry or frustrated at something. He'd become super quiet, and wouldn't make eye contact. If I asked him what was wrong, he'd just brush it off.
