IDK for sure... Just be yourself, and let nature take its course.. Dont push or pressure.. A leo would be very slow to "really" commit and let someone in.. I know I can be very difficult to get to know, and let people in. If they give up, then so be it.. Some ONE somewhere wont give up... They are not worthy of me anyways... Spoken like a true LEO, I must say! Actually thats what happen with the ex husband, he tried and tried.. I turned him down, gave him a lump on the head, yelled to leave me alone... YEt he kept trying.. saying you will love me one day...

LOL He was a Jekyll and Hyde type and I found out the hard way. Anyway, point is, he effed with the wrong b!tch that day. I'd had enough of being the nice person CONSTANTLY -- all the time and walking on eggshells around him. The idiot later came home with somehting he stole from his workplace (and i'm sitting there like....am i seriously dating someone who's a thief?? -- oh hell no...) , then a couple hours he later turned into super @hole and things got nasty and I tried to protect myself...it was extremely scary. I've been studying astrology since I was 13 -- i know there's much more to it than that.

Wow, huge discussion going on about Leos. As one myself, I feel compelled to give my two cents.Getting us to stay around usually isn't hard. Leo is not only a typically very straightforward sign but a very loyal sign. If we have real affection and love and care for you, we'll stick around. Most of the time, it's uncomplicated with us. You'll know we like you because we voice approval openly as well as disapproval. A Leo's temper is also dependent on their Moon and their Mars. But, based solely on the Sun sign, it's more of a dramatic display of emotion than anything. It can be moved on from, but not as quickly as Aries or Sagittarius. We need a sincere apology from the offender in order to really let go of it. As Fixed Fire, we have a lot of pride and, despite Leo's basic optimism, we aren't above holding grudges from time to time. That is, if we still feel slighted and not rightfully apologized to. You can double that probability if the Leo has a strong Taurus or Scorpio influence. But, otherwise, if there's a proper reconciliation, then we can move on from it. Otherwise, we're great people. (Listen to me, that sounded so Leo just now) We love to have fun, love to laugh, and have big hearts. I've read on this board that people feel there's a significant difference between Leo males and Leo females. Now, that I think about it, I can see that somewhat. Leo females have this classiness about them and tend to be really dignified. They are assertive and strong-minded, but also totally female at the same time. In many ways, they are very independent and in charge of their lives. But they love to be taken care of and provided for, too. Mostly by their significant other. Leo males are really proud but a little less regal than the females. It tends to just be more about ego, plain and simple, and the male ego is about as intense (and fragile) as it can be with a Leo. The Leo male is equal parts Cub and Lion. So he can be playful, fun, and sweet but also really ferocious at times. Like I said, the ego tends to be very strong so we really have a difficult time realizing the world doesn't revolve around us. But, we're really good-hearted and loyal people in the end. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

Being called 'theatrical/dramatic' can be very annoying/humiliating for a Leo when he's (for example) telling his life story with all colors of the rainbow. If a Leo can't *shine* for just what he *IS* (do not forget; the colors of the rainbow are *PURE* and for a Leo it's already a task to be confronted with all that lack of color around him) there's no chance to keep them in your life.. Mir brought up a good point... Leos might not see themselves as being dramatic or theatrical, but do they have problems projecting? For example they're very emotional about everything (not saying they are - it's an example)... if someone is different from them in displaying their own feelings like, NOT as emotional or more frank and to the point - do Leos doubt the sincerity?IP: Logged |

Dramatic? bahahahaha. Nah brah. Our "act" is real. What sign doesn't seem "dramatic"? Life is a stage and we are actors. These analysis of My sign makes me giggle. IP: Logged |

I have certainly seen Leos fall into the "things have to be done a certain way" point of view (it is a fixed sign after all lol). There are all sorts of "etiquette" and "protocols" in the world of royalty. Most of the Leos I know are not insistent that others act specific ways generally (as long as their actions don't cross over into Leo's domain). A Leo's view of another person's attitude or display, tends to be perceived more as their "level of capability". A Leo who is emotionally charged may meet a person who is not and conclude, "they may just be emotionally stunted". In the same way, they may meet a person who is more emotional than them and think, "this person is overly emotional". I think Leo is pretty good at accepting others on their individual terms. It is more their own actions, interactions, and expressions which bear true gravity. Similar to how a cat will ignore you acting like an idiot and pass little judgement (other than just accepting humans to be generally silly), but will bite you when you pet them with disrespect. The issue with protocol arises more in how others interact directly with the Leo as opposed to how others may act generally. If a person cuts a Leo off in mid-sentence before they are able to fully communicate the scope of their expression, if a person treats them in a way which may depreciate their image, if a person ignores them, devalues them, fails to appreciate, or challenges the intellect/experience of a Leo, that is when I have seen Leos question a person's content or character. I have Mars in Leo, 5th House and exactly trine Sun. If I want to convey care or interest, I definitely do what I can to make sure the other person knows about it. The whole point of my effort though, is not to get a pat on the back, it is to genuinely drive home the message that I care or desire to do a good job. In that same vein (enter protocol) when I have done a good job, how will I know how good of a job it was without your expression of appreciation? Similar again to how a cat puts its entire body into the communication that they love you, they purr, rub their face and body all over you, groom you with their tongue, they even massage you with their widdo pitty paws (though this is technically an instinct kittens acquire while nursing, to press on the area around the nipple and cause more milk to flow.... I am willing to accept however, the theory of nursing as early training for a cat's future as a massage therapist). All this may certainly be done with the hope of getting pet in return, but the display is a genuine expression of their desire to engage in a petting exchange. Leo is about taking the personal stuff we cultivated in Cancer, and projecting it in a way which allows us to "be our true self and experience life in a personal way, without being severely effected by everything life throws at us". The best means for those ends is "display, attached to our guts" (as opposed to just bearing our guts to people and allowing them to leave muddy footprints in our chest cavity. In the minds of the Leos I have known, the perspective seems to be, "hey dude, do your own thing, but treat me with respect if you are going to engage me". My best friend is Leo Sun/Scorpio Moon, and her emotions run very deep. She goes out of her way and expends every resource in her career, family, relationships, and friendships. Sure, she has a hard time believing others are capable of grasping the depth at which she experiences emotions, but she never treats people with disrespect based on that view, she simply sees it as that individual's capacity for connecting with her and adjusts her emotional interaction to their comfort level. This is all very true! It works for both Leo Sun and Leo Mars. My grandfather had a Leo Mars and he was like this. It is definitely important for them to feel appreciated for what they give emotionally - because they give a lot. And they can completely ignore people - exactly like a cat LOL Good call. What do you think about Leo Mooners Xiiro? How would they be similar or different to a Leo Sun/Mars? IP: Logged |
