Moon in scorpio in H9. In love, I find it takes a long long time to feel comfortable before I open up to someone and be affectionate. I'm talking here about serious deep, affection, passionate, intense, wholehearted and genuine affection.
I show it physically, through my words, and by making little gestures that I know will make the other person feel special and different from the other people in my life.
I also love to buy gifts.
If that person is special, they will be smothered by affection from me. I am an affectionate huggy, cuddly touchy feely person when I sense that the other person is too. I have to get a vibe that they are comfortable. Here I'm talking about friends. IP: Logged |

Emotionally I'm very affectionate but I'm not passionate.. I can be sexually passionate... But I'm actually emotionally dis-passionate. Maybe that's a weird thing to say.
I'm very placid emotionally and nothing much bothers me. I love being with the people I care about most and with my dog. I'm always hugging them and kissing them - maybe more than they'd like LOL Specially my dog haha... He's just like "ohhhhh not this again!!!!! you're just toooo mushy!" - He's an Aquarius  My Moon is in Cappy in the 7th sextile Pisces Merc. I think the sextile makes me very expressive of what I feel.. I rarely hide feelings. IP: Logged |

In the situation you described.. when something needs to get done, then that is not the time to cry about it. It's the time to *act*. I'm completely with you on that.
But when you mention "showing vulnerability" in general.. it sounds like you are saying one should -never- show vulnerability.
IMO - if you pretend that you are made out of steel and have no vulnerabilities, this attracts many enemies and much envy from others – so you are actually making things difficult for yourself, in any endeavour. I think it's best to make friends not enemies - in life.

I actually think I'm very affectionate, for a sag moon. The only difference is the 'how often' I am. I'm kind of dating a moon in scorpio, cancer fella... He likes me, I'm leading him on until someone better comes along. I hate being as old as I am and not having a single partner person in my life. No ones made a move and I haven't chosen a partner so I figured what the heck, I'll flirt with this guy in the mean time..Anyways, our conversations are SO funny. He asked me in a text message today to talk about sex. And I'm just like "sorry I have a low sexual libido" because its true. He also wants me to talk about my problems with him. When a man wants you to bring powerful NEGATIVE emotions into a relationship, hes a scorp moon for sure. lolBeing physical.... jumping on them and weirdly playing with them. Being randomly spontaneous and fun.. Trying to be helpful and catering to someones wants. If I like someone, I blush, stalk them, laugh a lot, become physical.. i let them know I like them. My moon is sagittarius, my venus is libra. But I only act this way when I decided upon liking someone... and that is very rare... especially with my scorpio mars.. I take forever to make a move with a cuddle buddy. But those moves when made are pretty intense.  IP: Logged |

Moon in Leo, 12H. I show affection by making people laugh and having fun with them. Usually on a person-to-person, private level... that twelfth house moon is pretty introverted.I'm really bad at deep emotional proclamations. Even though I like the idea of Wuthering Heights-style angstful and unending passion (Scorpio Venus, hi), I would probably start laughing if I actually tried to pull it off in my personal life. My ideal partner would get why this is funny. As for whether or not it's a good thing to show your emotions. Like some of the other Leo Moons here, I really don't like to make a show of vulnerability. I definitely like to "get on with it" and have a pride issue about not showing it if something is getting to me. Even as a child, I prided myself on the fact that I had not once cried in front of other people for all of elementary school. But as the years go by? I just don't give a eff as much as I used to. If someone sees me upset, whoopee. And I've also experienced a couple of situations where just dropping the pretense and letting people know what I really think has ended up being the best thing I could possibly do. It's a balance. I'm physically affectionate but it doesn't reflect my innermost feelings. I draw a lot, too. My doodles are very colorful, sensual, vivid...I feel like people don't really know me until they see how I draw. And I draw bookmarks, cards, and pretty envelopes for people. 8th house Pisces moon

Faith, I'm interested because my partner has a pisces moon in the 8th - do you feel like there are not many people you show true emotions to but when you find that person you absolutely shower them with affection? Do you feel comfortable being affectionate? Also, in what way do you like to receive affection? Hope you don't mind me asking

Faith, lol, sure come on by!!!I never want to leave my house, lol! After a stressful work week in the ICU, I almost batton the hatches and dont pop my head out for a while.. Considering purchasing a travel trailer and doing travel nursing to finish out my working years...was having so much fun last night, dreaming up how I could turn my travel trailer into a gypsy wagon, cause I can never be away from home that long...so sure, take a mini version of my home with me!!! Thank you!  It's SO WEIRD you mentioned gypsy wagons because I spent all day Saturday obsessing over them. I have this crazy fixation with small houses...always have. Your job sounds great! I just finished the book Ask Me Why I Hurt about a doctor who travels in an RV clinic helping homeless kids. I would love to know his birthday. Must be a Pisces....

Thanks for asking! I am just ultra sensitive. To make everything generally pleasant, so I can withstand an environment, I go out of my way to be cheerful and get along with everyone. This includes affection...I pretty much shower it on my friends in any way I can think of. However, rarely in my life have I felt like I was talking to someone who I could trust on a very deep level, in a romantic situation. There has to be an almost psychic link for me to trust it completely. With this one man I loved, if something upset me, even if he was across the room and didn't hear what happened, he'd turn and look at me, concerned. I loved him with all my soul and would have done absolutely anything for him. The devotion was a bit much, but he was a Dragon and didn't mind. LOL! It didn't work out in the end. My husband is less sensitive, but he and I have somewhat of a psychic bond and that's good. I just feel like my true self is very quiet. Hope that makes sense and doesn't sound too airy-fairy! But if it does, oh well, that's part of 8th house Pisces moon. Best wishes with your loved one!
