OH. You're allowed to walk with me, then. I can't go near Times Square because it puts me at risk of spontaneous combustion, what with all the slow moving tourists. IP: Logged |

My Taurus friend is always late. We used to live together and I had to literally drag her out of bed in the morning - all the alarms in the world are useless to her. She would consistently be late for work too. I have never met a Taurus who liked to get up early in the morning. When my friend and I schedule to meet somewhere, I know she'll be at least 30 min late. It used to frustrate me so much! Now I just leave 30 min late And yes, she takes about 1.5 - 2 hrs to get ready to go ANYWHERE. She's a Virgo Moon but it doesn't seem to make a difference.I love my quincunx signs. (Every time you say we're not supposed to get along, Saggi, I'll have to give you examples for why and how we DO get along! ) IP: Logged |

Taurus is much less inclined to respond to the whip over the carrot (or in some cases, carrot cake). I think the secret lies in the Taurus's Venus. I dated a Taurus with Venus in Aries. Getting him to do anything was like trying to dig a hole with a noodle.IF HOWEVER!: I made something seem like his idea or gave him the impression that sex would be involved, he would be the one hurrying me to finish getting ready. I suggest appealing to her Geminian attractions. Engage her in interesting conversation to wake her up, for example. Crap, having a conversation with her while she does anything may put her on autopilot and speed things up a bit. My sister is a Gemini with Venus in Taurus and the only way to get her to do anything is to promise alcohol without implying she is an alcoholic =D IP: Logged |

I'm not really the best example of a taurus because I have so much influence from gemini and scorpio that it overshadows it. Nevertheless, I am horribly stubborn with everything. I do not want to do something, and there is no good reason for me to, I am not going to do it and no one is going to make me either. That said though I am actually usually pretty compliant. The vast majority of the time it is simply easier to go along with the wishes and requests of others and it simply causes less problems to just listen. If I don't like it, I might hem and haw about it the whole time and compromise the situation. If you want to light a fire under my ass, spook me with some sort of consequence. Such as losing money (being one of my biggest motivators). Or possibly getting in trouble in some kind of regard. Getting yelled at usually cuts pretty deep in me, in particular if I didn't predict it happening. ------------------ It's All Elemental ----- My Chart if relevant IP: Logged |

Taurus would probably ignore everything that doesn't concern keeping her tummy nice and full.My sister the Taurus says that after she has a big hearty meal and makes herself comfortable on a recliner, the neighborhood can get bombed and she wouldn't care. IP: Logged |

My first thought was "tell him you're pregnant". I'm in that type of mood today. My dad hadn't wanted kids, but went through with it for my mother. He got himself fixed right after my sister made it into the world. He loves us, but I'm sure he's also glad he didn't get any more to deal with. IP: Logged |

True story. A former Taurus friend of mine was slowly becoming less healthy due to diet and activity level. He was recently faced with either changing his diet or having a tracheostomy. He decided to go with the hole in his neck because he could still eat what he wanted and would have a new reason to wear thick necklaces..... win/win..right? IP: Logged |

The promise of food doesn't really spur my sister on at all. Booze, on the other hand... @Yin That's pretty much my sister. The alarm goes off at least 10 times before she moves a muscle. Instead of Virgo Moon, though, she's a Pisces Moon. @Xiiro Having a conversation with her sounds like a good idea in theory, but in practice, if my Cancer Mercury isn't in the mood to chat, I think I'd rather just wait. (I have Taurus Venus and can be stubborn as any bull, but at least I've got some pep in my step!) @tautomer You're kind of similar to my sister in that you've both got Taurus Sun, lots of Gemini, Libra ASC and zero fire, but you're soooooo not like her at all. Must be your moon/mars. She's Pisces Moon/Aqua Mars. IP: Logged |
