1. First, both parties must be open to the idea of marriage.

2. Attraction. This is found at the Sun-Moon, Asc-Moon level. Minus a conjunction between these planets it's very unlikely this pair will walk don't the aisle.

3. Venus. This is the planet of relating, and compromise, and gratification through others. Unless this planet is touched by conjunction, trine, or opposition it's also unlikely a person will make the needed compromises to be part of a union.
