I don't really consider myself lucky. I don't know why because according to these placements my luck should be off the charts:

Jupiter in Sagittarius
Jupiter conjunct venus
Jupiter conjunct mars
Jupiter sextile moon
Jupiter sextile ascendant
Jupiter quintile midheaven
Plus 5 planets in Sagittarius

Im very lucky, I think. I feel like I make a lot of trouble for myself considering just how lucky I am; if I were more careful I cant imagine how blessed Id be, lol. But then, what's the point of luck if not to push it? Maybe it wouldnt want anything to do with me if that was my way

Im also Irish-American. Yay!

Moon-Sun-Mercury-Neptune-Uranus-Jupiter Stellium in the 5H in Sag (--and almost venus, if I were born just five minutes later).

Jupiter conjunct Neptune

Jupiter in Virgo 5th House
Venus sextile Jupter
Jupiter trine Saturn
Jupiter trine Uranus
Jupiter trine Pluto
Jupiter trine Asc
Jupiter trine Midheaven

Lots of trines! I wouldn't consider myself lucky, I would agree that I'm comfortably coasting through life.

JUPITER conj SATURN 1°
JUPITER sextile Sagittarius SUN 4°
JUPITER square MARS 2°
JUPITER trine AC (wide) 6°
JUPITER semisextile VESTA 0°
JUPITER in Sagittarius dwad

I'm pretty lucky, and generally an optimist. I'd vote an 8/10.

JUPITER is a bundle of generosity, and a fantastic benefic. It's very hard to not have good come out of what he touches. Because mine is fused together with SATURN, it tempers the good and the bad to manageable levels, with positive usually coming out on top. He brings the best out of SATURN, and SATURN keeps the worst of JUPITER under control. Call it "practical luck".

I've also got FORTUNA conj VENUS (and TYCHE trine VENUS), as well as ANGEL conj SUN. My PoF is also in Sagittarius, and the other benefic (VENUS) is in the 9H.

Jupiter in Cancer in the 6th House

trine Moon in Scorpio
sextile Mars in Virgo
opposite Saturn in Capricorn
opposite Uranus in Capricorn
opposite Neptune in Capricorn

I have no idea what to rate my luck because it's SO erratic and unpredictable. I blame all the oppositions, especially since it's opposite crazy Uranus to the exact degree. My life always feels all over the place. A lot of chaos and challenges come my way (12th House Saturn is the chart ruler). But, at the same time, I've avoided a lot of terrible situations, too. I often don't feel lucky but, at the same time, I manage to emerge unscathed from situations that could've shattered another person. So, maybe there's my luck?

I remember reading Dana Gerhardt's article on Jupiter and Saturn and her saying that we're often much luckier in our Jupiter area of life than we think we are. So, it's funny reading posts of someone people with these amazing Jupiter aspects/placements who don't feel lucky. I think we define luck by pretty narrow, conventional definitions, like always winning or succeding. Either that or we're just not as grateful for some things as we should be.

I'd say, if you have Jupiter conjunct one of the inner planets, in particular, you're probably a very blessed person, maybe more than you realize.

What is luck anyway?

Lucky to be healthy, living in a privileged part of the world, in western, wealthy world, born in middle class family that loves you, having access to education, water, electricity, internet, food, living in peace, in an uncontaminated environment, lucky to have some sort of meaning in life, lucky to be able to someday get a job... I think that's incredible luck. I believe that we who have the opportunity to participate on this forum are fortunate enough in life to be doing this, so...

Or what is luck? Winning the lottery, surviving accidents, ...?
You all just state your luckiness/unluckiness, I think it would be more telling if you also wrote what you consider luck.

I agree.

I consider my luck especially evident in my family. No fighting, no abuse, no illnesses or deaths, no injuries or disabilities, and a loving, nurturing childhood. No estranged members, no bad blood, and family gatherings always include fantastic food and funny stories and warm hugs. I used to think this was common, but more and more I am finding that most people have issues in their family, which just boggles my mind. I am friends with my mom, and we even have a monthly date night where we go out to eat.

I was the youngest of four, and the first and only one to graduate college. I get every job I interview for. I have never been betrayed, by either family, friends, or even co-workers or strangers. I get along well with all of my bosses, and usually better than my other co-workers (this manifested as being a teacher's pet in grade school). I was never bullied, either.

I always have income when I absolutely need it. I almost never get sick, and have never even broken a bone. I am recognized quite often for my talents in art and writing. I always had top grades. I can excel and succeed at pretty much anything I try. My closest friends are pretty amazeballs, too.

Heck, even my cat. I found her just as I graduated and could take on a pet, and she trotted right up to me. After scaling down a 3-story drain pipe, no joke. So I took her home. She was in great health when I got her, has no eating problems (she self-regulates, so I can just leave food out all day, no problem), I didn't need to litterbox train her, she's very well-behaved, mellow, friendly, cuddly, and the closest you can get to the perfect cat. I can say that truthfully, having grown up with numerous other kitties.

Basically, I feel the world is a huge opportunity for me, should I put forth the effort. I don't doubt that I can get something that I really want, or that things will turn out well.

The only "unlucky" part of my life is in regards to a long-distance romantic relationship, where I just cannot seem to get us in the same space at the same time. I've tried more than once, and just no dice. It's just laughable when you travel to another country for a different reason, take the short, unexpected opportunity for a side visit, only to find the person you intended to meet is out. But I think that's the universe saying "no, not yet", so I just accept it, and keep on keeping on. But that's VENUS opp CHIRON as a skipped step and NN conj DC, for you.

I have Jupiter conj SN,MC,Chiron in 9H and I have found that when it all looks very bleak some energy comes along and gives me either a new job, some money or just overall enthusiasm to be alive.

THANK YOU JUPITER!!

Jupiter in Cancer/House 10
Jupiter Conjunct MC
Jupiter Conjunct Chiron
Jupiter Sextile Mercury
Jupiter Square Ascendant
Jupiter Trine Venus
Jupiter Opposite Uranus
Jupiter Quincunx Moon

Luck: 2/10

People always say that Jupiter is a "benefactor," but it's my general experience that anything this planet touches makes for a pretty miserable experience.

I agree! Everyone perceives "luck" differently so the bottom line is still feeling lucky is literally what makes you feel lucky I think. Of course what you consider "lucky" will change depending on where you currently stand in your life, your perspectives and beliefs at the moment, etc... It will change constantly.

retrograde Jupiter in Cancer 12th house
9 out of 10

it makes me waste a lot of time with pleasurable things like procrastination, alcohol, cigarette, helping others/sympahty, etc physical and emotional pleasures in general idk (really makes me unproductive)
it also keeps me too worry-free at all times and makes me underestimate challenges, tasks and the difficulty of things in life, etc
12th house is pisces house after all xD (drugs drugs drugs)

on the positive note, if i get into trouble because of things mentioned above, something happens and my butt is saved last minute
it also gives me insights to hidden things (not secretive things of myself but of others ir other things)
I can't see ghosts or I don't get prophetic dreams though, probably because its opposed by Saturn in 6th house

conclusion is, its really mixed blessings since it gets me into trouble to begin with and saves my ass last minute
but because it always keeps me worry free and spiritual, happy most of the times, i give it 9 out of 10. I mean things could have been much worse xD
