I know many women are statisfied being a homemaker.. Which is great for them..
As long as both people are happy with it, there is nothing wrong with it.

As for my self, I would never be happy as a homemaker.. I need my own career and my own money, and most importantly my own identity outside of being a wife/mother.

That's what scares me the most, loosing my own identity to be with someone..

For the most part with the modern day and age career women is the normal now. Majority of men have no probelms with their wife working.

I just could never sit and explain my every move to someone.

Maybe thats how Pluto in H7 works for me..

people get stuck in a rut, they come home from home from work, have their meal, sit and watch TV and then go to bed and don't really *communicate* with your partner. I recommend get the TV off, open a bottle of wine and really talk. Couples have such expectations but don't always check to see if they match the others' *expectations*

Why would you assume that I have a traditional role?

I get home at about 7:20. I cook and feed the family. I wash all the dishes. I feed the dog and walk the dog and take out all the trash. I change my young one and on alternate days I give him a shower. I read to him and put him to bed. Then I take my 16 year old and sit him down and check all his homework. Then I whip up flash cards for him to prepare him for the next series of exams. That's why he scores over 95 in everything. Then I go upstairs and please my wife. Give her a massage when it's all over. AND then I go to the grocery store at past 10 pm to go shopping, or go to the pharmacy to pick up medicine for my boy. I get home, tuck my wife in to bed. THEN I make school lunches and ensure I have everything available for dinner tomorrow. Plus lay clothes out so my 16 year old goes to school wearing something respectable and not look like a douche bag. Oh i forgot the laundry, but sny idiot can load a washing machine or run the dishwasher THEN I finally sit down and check the mail and do the bills. At midnight, I put on my headphones and listen to music on my wonderful stereo for 15 minutes or play my computer games.

At 12:15 pm, I go to bed. I wake up at 5:15 am and catch the 6 am train to work.

On Saturdays, I leave for orchestra with my son at 7:30 am. On Sundays, I leave for swim class with my other son at 8:00 am. In between that, I have orchestra concerts, violin recitals, piano exams, horse riding classes for both boys. I still find the time to go buy a dress for my wife or pick her up some shoes. Never mind mow the lawn, clean the gutters, wash the cars, fix whatever needs fixing. AND please the wife at least twice a day.

Never do I fall out of communication with my wife, who is equally busy. We never eat meals without each other.

We live in the real world. Life may be challenging but isnt insurmountable.

I really don't understand why you women are inherently wired to have a negative opinion of men.

I'm appreciative of all you've done. Truly.

However. In all honesty, there is something I absolutely do not understand.

Here is a forum full of relationship experts. And yet, it's the same forum of failed marriages and single women unable to find proper men for a life of happiness. The brags about perfect Synastry invariably are about past relationships.

It's like a bunch of dermatologists with giant zits on their noses. Look at yourselves in the mirror first.

I'll take advice on marriage from couples with marriages longer than mine. I don't find those in this forum.

Why are you still here then?

Most members here are of the Pluto in Scorpio generation. And are female. Something tells me you're not exactly here for the wisdom of old age! lol

I'm here because my dear friend, Ami Anne is a moderator here.

Something tells me that you just like to troll for trouble.

I couldn't care less where anyone's Pluto is and it isn't my concern.

I have you logged for the record. Everything you say is noted. There is absolutely nothing that cannot be subpoenaed, inlcuding your IP, name amd address. Nothing you say is not legally actionable. Randall isn't the slightest of my concerns, and shouldn't be yours either. Let this be notice served.

My wife rules the household. She makes all decision as it relates to the household. She may ask me my opinion, but most decisions are unilateral and final. She has final veto power.

I am the breadwinner. I supply money and resources. I make all investment decisions and have absolute decision authority over large expenditures. Such as homes, automobiles, timing of major vacations, and most importantly, the shifting of investment accounts.

The logic is that each person would be in the best position to make decisions in their respective domains. It's also a function of me not worrying about what the boys should have on their pizza, or whether the bag less vacumn cleaner is worse for allergies. Those are decisions that my wife knows. I stick to the money making, which is much like the hunter gathering food.

My wife thinks of me as her property. So...
