I checked the last two retograde periods and they both led up to absolutely miraculous events, which were turning points in my life, leading to the better (though like always, not easy to handle in their intensity) - but these events did not really happen during the venus retograde, but afterwards; yet following the mental-emotional preparations/ developments that took place during the retro.Fascinating. It's felt more if it's your chart ruler. A lot depends on which house it's in and if it hits anything. It doesn't have to be a bad thing. Spider, lol!! If your relationship is basically strong don't worry about venus rx messing it up.

bump It`s today and it has reaked havoc on me it squared my mars a few weeks ago and urggg. I am not looking forward to it squaring my mars again. I do however like it in the 11th been able to catch up with friends more lately. IP: Logged |

Well, I didn't realize venus was going Rx, but I had a very vivid dream last night/this morning involving past drama with an ex lol Not fun!Venus will be in my 12th house, opposite mercury. I'm not too worried about this transit overall though, I'm trying to get rid of old baggage, not accumulate more, and hopefully this will help... I'll also be out of the country for a few weeks which I'm really looking forward to, and will hopefully be a positive, bonding experience with the people I'm traveling with  IP: Logged |

Last time, tVenus was Rx through my 7th house, and it was spectacular. My then bf and I had a huge reconciliation, and it was real good there for about six months. Now tVenus is stationary on my nMoon, and in the 2nd house. Haven't noticed anything so far, but hoping that a certain lost love does reappear. That'd be nice.IP: Logged |

Venus Rx will also be travelling through my empty 7th house, in opposition to my Mars in the 1st and squaring Moon in the 3rd, Saturn in the 9th. I am a little freaked out, as have been having difficulties in connecting emotionally to my partner and contemplating ending things. I have been feeling a closer bond to a friend, who is currently out of town for his work. He wants to meet up and have lunch when he returns next week, and I'm having mixed feelings. He is aware of my situation with my partner, and despite it, seems to pursue something beyond friendship. I would like to see him and conversate, but do not wish to open a can of worms. My partner and I did have a very good breakthrough conversation over the weekend, and am now confused as to whether to try and work things out again or separate and gather my thoughts. Either way, I am nervous about what possible energy influences may arise from this RX activating my natal T square and 7th house. Hopefully will gain some clarity into how to proceed. IP: Logged |

The Venus Rx effect will depend on th house that venus is travelling in what if any natal planets it's hitting and any other aspects transiting venus makes to your planets.In general Venus Rx in Gemini suggests difficulties with communications in relationships (again depending upon how your chart aligns, this isn't always the case) It can also apply to children/games or anything Venus stands for. Retro planets tend to force people to internally re-evaluate their positions based on the sign they are transiting through. IP: Logged |

Well, a week ago I just started another relationship and it has quickly become very intense and meaningful... I am starting to think that Venus Rx has quite an effect on my life. My natal mars is at 14 Gemini so its also conjunct, and this is easily the most physically passionate relationship of my life... IP: Logged |

My Descendant is at 23*30 Gemini, so Venus turned retro right on my 7H cusp. I've been trying to figure for about a year how to get out of my current relationship, catalysed by a chance meeting with some guy I met at an internship. I don't know why, but I had one look at this person, and I came to the conclusion that even if nothing ever happened between us, I just felt like a happier and more whole person knowing that he even existed on planet Earth. I finally got up the gall to tell my current bf that I think about breaking up with him a LOT. He acted surprised (I don't know why, maybe because he just expects that all relationships are crappy). I had a strange dream about a deadly bull last night (I have Moon in Taurus, so ???). And, today, I got a job offer from the place that I interned at, so it sounds like I will be making contact with this other person again.
I thought we had a promising goodbye the last time I saw him, but it may have been my overactive imagination/obsessive tendencies.

i was joking about this on a another venus rx post....
but now i'm actually thinkingthe retrograde takes place on my birthday....
does this mean it's a theme that's going to be playing out through out the whole year for me. the whole solar return chart thing. arh...i don't mind....but i'd rather not...if you know what i mean

Yeah, this whole Venus Rx has been stressing me out for weeks, though usually I don't worry too much about them. I ran into my ex on May 3 or 4 and it was really harsh. I've never had a relationship end with so much animosity before. Venus went Rx today exactly conjunct my Sun/Moon midpoint (Gem 7). Anyone know what that signifies? I also have Pallas at that same degree. My ex and I also both have Venus at Gem 7 in our SR charts, though his is not retro and mine is (boo!) And then the May eclipse happens right on my Ascendant and my personal name asteroid is transiting 2 degrees or so from the eclipse. Something is definitely in the air for me this Venus retro. Last night I ran into an old boyfriend, which really broke my heart. The break up was very bad, and full of amniosity. I'd become overcome with a feeling of anxiety on rare occasions when we would cross paths. I'm very happy that this time, I did not feel any anxiety, nothing at all other than surprise. I felt very calm, and it was wonderful to feel that the hurt feelings are released at last. He was with his spouse, the one for whom he ended things with me. The spouse had in the past, stalked me and sent me threats and negative messages. I used to feel uneasy to cross paths with her because of her hatred towards me. Last night, I did not feel any of this, nothing but indifference. Very empowering and liberating to take back my personal power, and feel detached from negative people. I'm taking this experience as a good omen that the Venus Rx in my 7th house is actually going to bring me positive energy IP: Logged |

T. Venus went retrograde right when it was conjunct my natal Venus in the 7th house. That night my boyfriend asked me to move in with him. So its been a very positive transit so far for me. IP: Logged |

Hi!! I'm a Gemini, my venus is at 8 Gem in my 2/3th houses squaring my Saturn in the 6th house. My sun is at 27 Gemini in the 3th.
My jupiter is in my 5th house forming a sextil with venus. I was waiting for tr venus rx and for tr jupiter in gemini. 8 months ago I got out from a 9 years relationship (he left me and has done things in the most painfull way he could have done it (eg he said he didnt love me for 6 years at the date he left. No mercy for the fact that we have a 4 years daughter. We have saturn stuff in our natal charts (he has cap asc), in our synastry and in our composite.. It's being difficult to get over this person and the ties I feel with him.. the guy with who I had dreamt before I had even met him. Really.. I've dreamt with us in a house I didn't imagine existed, a house we shared some years later. Since he left I had been "ok" for a while, but my emotions are low since about a month ago. I have hope in this venus retrograde.. tr venus at 8 gemini will be important and it will conjunct my natal venus. And I have hope in the tr jupiter entering gemini.. First I had the hope he would come back to me and make things work out for us.. because tr uranus is starting to trine our composite MC. But at 15 May (wow) I found he has a girlfriend (and tr neptune is opposing his natal venus). Maybe I should only have the hope for me to heal, forgive and forget.. how could someone I've been with for 9 years in such a strong tie, in a relationship which survived so many things....... Maybe it would be nice for me someone from the past to come in.. since venus went rx it has happened to someone people around me.. I'm reading about this and he could apologize during this venus rx.. surprisingly at least, at 15 May, he admitted he could have done things in a different way which is something very different from the stuff he has been saying to me since 8 months ago I had hope.. at 16 May I was informed my job is ending at the end of the month.. I read somewhere in the net that tense work relationships could end. I have great aspects between transiting planets and my natal planets and I think I have the potencial to get a better job, to find a new lover, to improve my life, etc, etc, but things just seem to keep getting worse and worse. tr jupiter will conjunct my natal venus, tr uranus will sextil my natal venus.. Oh my, I have my Venus exact on your descendant!! Anyway, my experience with Venus retrograde exact conjunct my Venus is a bit strange.  Interestingly I have a few guys at workplace kinda confessing abt their liking for me. Yeah, it's kinda embarrassing cos well, now everyone kinda know. And at the same time, I started thinking of my ex a lot... I have stopped for sometime.. But yeah, it started the moment Venus Retrograde. I didn't like this at all cos it brought so much pain.
