Fragmentation is definately me, a psychiatrist actaully said I had borderline personality disorder once, those people dissasociate and fragment. To make things worse my moon is pretty afflicted. In capricorn(hard moon sign especially for a woman)in 8th and square saturn and semisquare uranus 0*. I've wondered if the grand trine it makes with venus to chiron/asc makes it better or Worse??IP: Logged |

That tricky dicky neptune in my 8th is actually making a 1* sextile to my sun pluto conj too! you never know with neptune, with me it has been very malefic. In declinations its also Exactly paralel mars and I have struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for over 10 years. But now Im getting off topic, so sorry Ami.IP: Logged |

sun/pluto has massive renewal abilities. But moon conj neptune is emotional confusions, illusions around mother. I'm big fan of parallels to.... mars conj Neptune “This conjunction can pose several difficulties: in choice of actions, where you may struggle to establish what your real aims are; in making that final decision to attempt to achieve them, and in ensuring that sufficient and persistent effort is then made to guarantee success. An unintegrated Neptune can dissolve that focused will, making decisive clarity difficult to maintain. Additionally, you tend to avoid accepting the consequences of your choices, and there can be a refusal to acknowledge responsibility when such actions lead to failure or negative results.” http://astrology.astrozoom.com/index.php?title=NEPTUNE_PARALLEL%2C_CONJUNCTION%2C_SQUARE_OR_OPPOSITION_TO_MARS http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11521

quote:
Chiron in Taurus or the Second House: Chiron in Taurus seeks comfort from physical material, money and sex. They may have unusual sexual interests as a result of deprivation of appropriate physical affection or sexual abuse in early childhood. Sometimes they become teachers or counselors, with the subject of interest related in some way to the aspect of life they felt deprived of in childhood. They can be powerful teachers of the lesson of "self-worth" if they can overcome their own self-esteem issues.Chiron in Scorpio or the Eighth House: The path of Chiron in Scorpio is somewhat akin to Dante's Inferno. The path to growth and life may come through repeated experiences with the great mysteries of life, death, birth and transformation. These are the powerful mystics whose inner visions dominate their life-path. They may have empathic and psychic abilities which are sharpened through experiences of profound insight. They may suffer deaths and losses when Chiron is adversely aspected, but each loss will be followed by benefits or insights that boost them to new levels of understanding. http://www.aquarianage.org/west/planets/ch-nat01.html
quote:
Chiron in the 8th house: What a great sex therapist you can be. A more likely scenario is that you have the ability to bring out the sexual best in a romantic partner, while giving yourself the short end of the stick (no pun intended). But the 8th house rules more than sex. You could also get stuck with taking care of partnership resources because "you're so good at it," or, conversely, keep getting partners who want to "take care" of it and do you out of your fair share. Perhaps you become too dependent on money from others for support, or too much of what you earn goes to support others. You might tend to accept other people's values (your family, group or society) too readily. One other thing. The myth of Chiron can actually come alive with this placement. You could have a talent for healing or rehabilitating others, but not yourself.Chiron in Taurus: Taurus is the sign of money and resources and it shows our ability to possess things. It also shows what we instinctively value, including ourselves. This is the sign that gives us our gut level sense of self-worth. Chiron here can give us a miser's urge to hold on to every penny while denying ourselves any of life's pleasures, or a rejection of "those low, materialistic values" and, consequently, a life of poverty. And guess what? Deep down inside, both are the same. They both deny themselves pleasure and enjoyment because they don't value themselves. Of course, as always with Chiron, there is the ability to give good advise to everyone else concerning their material needs and sense of self worth. People with Chiron in Taurus have to learn how to enjoy the basic physical pleasures of life. They won't be able to do this, however, until they deal with their damaged sense of self-worth http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/chiron21.5.html
quote:
CHIRON IN THE 8TH HOUSE – creates a major life struggle—“a gigantic karmic crisis—over earthly desires: sex, money, power/fame, and immortality. This struggle tends to, in one way or another, impact strongly you and everyone around you. There is the need to comprehend true power—an earthly throne can be easily toppled. True power is the inner power that comes from self-mastery. If, for whatever reason, your environment stifles any show of legitimate power, you will tend to express your inner rage in a destructive manner, such as actually becoming violent or developing cancer. CHIRON in your 8th house does not indicate a violent person so much as it reminds you that it is important that your true self not be stifled. “The resolved and high side of this position is an absolute mastery over desire resulting in a deep and essential knowing about the motives of others.” It gives you a “penetrating mind, a great facility for exacting research, and an intense understanding of primal life forces.” You must learn never to misuse your power to manipulate others. With the development of self-discipline and a higher consciousness, you have the opportunity to balance much negative karma. It is imperative that you NEVER turn over your power to another person. CHIRON IN TAURUS - “a search for values on the material plane predominates…. Determining ‘what is right or wrong, permanent or not, becomes a crisis.” You are more interested in maintaining the values you feel are significant than in bringing the new into being. The house in which your CHIRON is located will reveal the nature of the values you cherish. You are talented in manifesting resources from other people and can stretch these resources wisely. The warning with this placement is that you not become stuck in a value system that has outlived its meaningfulness. Creativity is essential; otherwise you may block off the Chirotic healing energies. The house position of your CHIRON is the key. Study it again. Bizarre sexual habits may be present, unless you understand the sexual energy is creative energy and is present to be used with balance. You are a stabilizing factor within society in that your contribution is a talent for creating good out of what already exists, rather than being inventive http://www.pathwaytoascension.com/astrology/lesson6.html
chiron's aspects can be found in my thread in Basic forum

Ceri I want to ask you something. You feel someone as very close to you when they hit your IC.If a person had Moon conj the MC and hence opposite the IC, the person's Sun would be in opposition to their moon. This would not feel the same. Would it? Thanks! xx [/B][/QUOTE]
Can you give the degrees and state which planet belongs to whom, cause I am a bit confused here. IP: Logged |

Sorry Ceri There were too many who and whoms Ok, I have the moon conj the MC, so if a person conjuncted my IC, he would oppose my moon. Would that take away the whole comfort factor of the IC? ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I'd be curious to have an updated survey/see how many use each one.

quote: Originally posted by amowls**: I have Chiron conjunct my ASC too but my issues have more to do with talking about myself in general. I even start crying for no reason if someone wants to talk about my talents or skills. I feel like I don't have any. I'm somewhat insecure about my looks but at this point I've learned to ignore those insecurities because evidence has led to the contrary (as in many people have told me I'm attractive, not just the guy I'm with or my parents). I still look at myself in the mirror and wish I looked different. On top of it, I have Saturn and Uranus opposite ASC. I'm not bummed about it, I just find it challenging.
quote:
Chiron and the Ascendant: Since the Ascendant is always exactly opposite the Descendant, an aspect to one is also an aspect to the other. This means if you have a Chiron/Ascendant aspect, you must have a Chiron/Descendant aspect as well. As a result, this combination affects the way we start things, our initial approach to the world, and the way people see us (Ascendant). But it also affects the way we relate to others (Descendant). People with Chiron/Ascendant aspects can be great teachers or healers, but there is a wild side that can come to the surface. It becomes easier to "wound" others or be wounded by them. A positive way to use this would be to help others work through their problems. Rona Barrett, the gossip columnist, is a perfect example. She has Chiron in her 10th house (career) in the sign of Gemini (communications) and it is square her Ascendant. She has made a career out of making the wounds of others (Descendant) public (10th house). http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/chiron21.5.html
