Mine is in Aqua. Aqua is the most annoying sign of any in the Zodiac to me. I wonder if this fits. Please, tell me! Thanks.------------------

Mine is Taurus and I appreciate a lot of things about the sign, but don't generally get along with them past a specific point. We have a lot of fun in more superficial dealings, but I tend to feel depressed after hanging out with them for long periods of time. I LOVE stopping and smelling the roses, but once the bush is dead, I like to go out and find more roses (or even other types of flowers GASP) instead of sitting where the bush once was, pawing at the ground, and sadly reminiscing over "those days when roses used to grow here". I envy a lot of what Taurus has going for them, I just run into problems when Tauruses turn "sticky". =) IP: Logged |

I think it may have to do with how the personal planets are distributed.
I have Sun, Mars and ASC in Sagittarius, and those get along well with Aries.
Moon in Aquarius actually has a sextile to Chiron.
My Venus is in Cappy, which would speak of tension to Aries energy, but it is far off my Chiron. Instead it squares my IC. my IC thus is in Aries, too, as are my Draconic Sun, Mercury and Venus.
So I guess I simply resonate with Aries energy.
Besides Chiron is very slow moving anyway, and most people of the same generation have it in the same sign.
I think it is more important to see how Chiron is interwoven into the whole chart and maybe its houseposition.
I have Chiron in 4th house and Saturn in Cancer - Cancer energy is NOT easy to me.
If I read Cancer, I see "emotional manipulation" in my mind, despite knowing that this is a total unfair description of Cancer energy, as they can be so caring and nurturing and gentle. EDIT:
I want to add though that I am having a lot of Cancer energy in my life, though this is a soley female thing. My grandma is a Cancer
my Mom has ASC in Cancer
my best friend has ASC in Cancer
a friend I lost contact with has Moon in Cancer
another very good friend has Moon and ASC in Cancer all of these women have a very strained relationship to their mothers.
Either a completely dysfunctional relationship or the experience of loss of their mother at an early time in their lives. (in friendships though they also have always something in Aries, Aquarius or even Libra to balance the Cancer energy out.) IP: Logged |

If anyone wants to talk about the House of your Chiron and if that relates to Chirons wound that won't heal, please do. Perhaps, the sign does not work in the same way.One of my books said Chiron was more House dependent than sign dependent so you guys seem to be indicating that to be true. ------------------

My Chiron is retrograde, but I get a good feel of its energy in my chart.Taurus Chiron h1. The greatest thing I admire about Taurus is their ability to see the beauty in anything. and that sight allows them the capability to touch that beauty and draw it out of their object. I can see the beauty of others (even people I dislike) with hardly any effort, but when it comes to my self I am unable to see beauty. I know it exists, because the external world interacts with me in a beautiful way, but when I look at my self, all I see are flaws. In the process of learning to see beauty in my self I was able to discover, even people's flaws make part of their over all beauty. Where ugliness exists, a compassionate view of it's circumstance sheds a beautiful light. In my case however, it feels as though I just don't have the chunk of my brain which recognizes beauty when I look at my self. I have just kinda accepted it as a developmental disability and moved on, knowing I am beautiful even though I am unable to see it. I try to instead focus on recognizing the beauty which results from the decisions I make. So for me, it seems Chiron is both reliant on House and Sign, just in a mixy-weird way. IP: Logged |

my chiron is in cancer and i wouldnt say i have a particular beef with them more than any other signs, all the signs are different and though some can be similar they all have ways that are foreign to all the others,however i have dated cancers and i loved how sweet and affectionate they were, however i was quiet putoff by their moodiness and dependent. and to answer your question about the house ,mine is in the sixth and work has always been trouble for me.IP: Logged |

Mine would be the 2nd. I feel the stress more when it comes to Chiron opposing my Moon in the 8th.
If I am financially unstable in any way, everything else gets shifted to the back burner and financial security takes priority even over relationships. I've always related that with the aforementioned aspect. IP: Logged |

Good topic cuz it got me thinking. I have chiron in taurus in retrograde in my 2nd house. So I've been sitting here pondering for like 10 min b4 answering. U know I'm just a beginner with astrology and so I don't really know what it means to have this placement. But these r my feelings when I think of chiron being in my house of finances: u know I was married for 8 yrs to a taurus and he had lots of taurus in his natal as well. Altho him and I r on good terms now, I have lost out on SO much financially bc of this man. I quit a good paying job with benefits after I had my last baby (who is 7 now ) and our house we bought 2gether, yeah I had to give that up to. I had a small retirement from my old job I cashed out to pay for medical expenses bc my ex was always switching jobs and we badly needed the money...so I'm my mind, I lost my house and my job all in the name of love and I regret it to this day. I know that's not a mature way of looking at it but hey that's just how I feel. I will never again put my finances in someone else's hands. I could kick myself for giving up my good job for him ugh...did I mention we filed bankruptcy? So embarassed *sigh* he was the spender and I was the saver lol didn't do my much good bc I hate confrontations and it was just easier to give in when he wanted take out a big loan again. That man ALWAYS wanted something! I'll always love him but I learned my lesson: don't mix men/relationships with money. Hmmph.IP: Logged |

Mines in Gem. I like Gems. I have a Gem ASC. Chiron is also well aspected in my chart (completes a grand trine with Mercury & Moon).The only sign that annoys me is Virgo, but even then I still love them lol. IP: Logged |
