I strongly believe these are felt, though I think you have to cut the orb in half of what "you" would normally use. Orbs are such a widely debated arguement amongst astologers, some even get mad, lol.

If you use a 3* orb in synasty then I guess you would use 1*30 for the semisquares.
I perfer a 5* orb in synastry as I feel the planets extremely strongly.

Sue Thomkins speaks about close semi squares being much more powerful than a looser regular square in your natal and in synastry. In my own natal chart I have 3 6* squares and I have one 0* semi square and I feel the semi square stronger and it is more "active" in my life. It really makes events happen for better or worse. Though I dont think it is felt in quite the same way. Mrs Thompkins says the semi squares are more "internalized".

Im specifically wondering how these play out in synastry though, most astrologers believe that the tight ones are felt and I agree.

Any experiences/input on these aspects in synastry with your loved one/s?

normally in synastry I wouldn't use these, I wouldn't even use in a natal chart either. thing with astrology is you have to be VERY self aware. Astrology is like learning a new language and a journey of self discovery -- that has no end...

Thank you for the link it was helpful. I think a lot of astrolgers just have to agree to disagree about orbs. I believe that everyone does not "feel" the planets in quite the same way or degree of intensity... Btw, I am a brash, outspoken person who sometimes speaks before I think...mars in sag angular lol. Anyway I did not mean to hurt your feeling or make you feel unappreciated in the mars in sag thread. I spoke harshly and the next day I Truely felt bad. I am a hotheaded person, but not mean. And I am woman enough to apologize. So for what its worth, I am sorry...So truce baby...
