I am a TOTAL cat person! I absolutely adore cats so so much. I could see myself being a crazy cat lady (even though I am a guy) when I am 80 years old. Cats absolutely love me as well. Some of my friends call me a cat whisperer because they warm up to me so fast and I just understand them so well. I am a total sucker for cats. If I see one while I am walking around town I will stop and pet it for several minutes at least.

I'm not a dog person at all. I can't say that I dislike dogs. However, I can't say that I like them either. Small dogs I actually can like. It's larger, highly energetic dogs that I don't like.

I don't like dogs, though. I just...no, not my kinda animal. Other animals are fine, I guess...I GUESS. Cats are best, though, hehe.

I don't really like dogs, kinda indifferent to them.

I'm a Scorpio Sun.
My sister and a friend of mine are also Scorpios and they love cats, too.

I don't go out of my way to kill insects either. If I see an ant outside, I'll go out of my way to not step on it. If I have a spider, fly...in my house I'll capture it and set it free outside. The only time I won't do that is when it wouldn't be possible, such as in the case of fleas and lice. The health and well being of myself and my family come first. Fortunately, I've only had those issues a couple of times.

I love all animals but I'm defenitely a dog person. I live in the city and don't have a lot of outdoor space nor the time to properly take care of a dog, so I don't have one but if circumsttances change I will definitely be getting a Doberman.

Currently own: 3 dogs (2 German Shepherds and a Shepherd mix), 2 cats, 6 goats, and 9 chickens.

If I had more property you can bet Id have horses (I WILL own some one day!), cows, llamas, emus, pigs, sheep..

I also love deer. I just want to raise a little fawn and love and squeeze and run and play...

Animals have always been more my friends than people. Instead of playing with friends as a child I would play with my dog. Instead of sports with other kids I chose horseback riding lessons for 10+ years.
Didnt win me many friends but there is a bigger connection with animals

That is SO cute. Turtles, oh my goodness!!!

And I adore elephants so much. I want to move to India just so I can be round them more. You only live once, and I want an elephant-rich life.

I also love cows. I will tell you my cow story. There is a pasture that borders the field of my country house. One day I went up to the stone wall separating my field from my neighbor's pasture and started shooting the breeze with the cows. One by one they all came over to say "Hi."

This one cow was talking to me animatedly and stretching her neck to me. Her ear tag said Crystal. So I was singing to her, thanking her for milk, apologizing that I ever ate beef.

I went home, the cows dispersed. A half hour later, there was mooooooing outside under my balcony. So I go out and Crystal is moooing like crazy!!!! How did she get there? I still have no idea how she got there.

I yelled down, "I would hug you but you'd trample me to death!" It took her a long time to leave.

Apparently I am a cow whisperer.

Well if there's a sale than it's a transaction in which a person is having or claiming ownership over a service, product or in this case animal. I'm more concerned with the practice of owning pets not how each individual perceives their own personal relationship with the animals they've accumulated through whatever means.

I wouldn't "have" or "claim ownership" over any living thing outside of myself. Including plants or animals. I'm against domesticating animals and I find it unfortunate that within our Westernized culture we've utilized pet ownership as a fundamental aspect of our society. As far as domestication goes the assumption is that animals are better off because of domestication however that can't be proven because we can't speak on the behalf of animals and what exactly are we measuring when we make that assumption. That's why it up to humans to be ethical when handling how we interact with other living species and the environment. But we perpetually abuse this relationship in favor of our own interests.

I absolutely love animals in general. As pets, I like Cats, Dogs and Rats. Not a big fan of monkeys or mice, but if they leave me alone I'll leave them alone.

When I raise an animal, something about it tends to take on a little more personality than most other people's animals. You can tell what they're thinking or trying to communicate a lot better than others. Or at least that's what I'm told.

My animals are my babies, but they are also my friends. I own them but they are free to leave if they choose. They have their own mind, and though I do exert power over them on occasion (like bath time, or not allowing them to walk on the counters), I tend to let them do what they want.

Regardless of how I feel about them, they are still animals. If there was a major world catastrophe that made food scarce I would still eat them. <.< Yeah, I said it.
