i often think of what it would be like to be a ghost,i know i couldnt resist the temptation to scare the crap out of people, i would start out subtly at first letting the people hear my foot steps in the hall,maybe whispering to them and slowly progress to where they are sitting on the couch and they see the tv floating in air,it would be great fun XDIP: Logged |

Maybe she just has a stronger faith and trust.

I'm a Pisces moon 12H quintile MC with Pisces Ascendant. However I would never judge the amount of someone's faith regardless of there natal chart. Edit: @Betty, I'm not denying that you can't feel them around you. In fact that's what i'm associating w/ the chills, and I think your taking the chills as only negative. Lonake, I'm not even sure how to explain this..What I mean is.. You know when a person is around you (a person who is -alive-)... you feel their overall vibe?
Although, I guess not everyone feels that.. but being a Pisces you probably would. I think everyone has a vibe (maybe this is a silly word to use though, because it is something deeper than the word 'vibe' suggests) and when you are in their presence or interacting with them you *feel* that. For instance now on LL.. I can't see you and I can't see Aqua or Moonfish or anyone else.. but I do feel like you each have your own personalities and you each have a very defined 'vibe' of your own - in my mind. Since a few people have mentioned ghosts moving objects - which I think is possible... lets just say for argument's sake that there is a poster on LL who is actually a ghost interacting - using a computer lmao... (I know it sounds silly.. but I'm just trying to make my point)..
I really think that on an intuitive level - we would just FEEL that ghost's spirit - as we'd feel anyone else's. I'm not sure if that makes sense... ^ So obviously I agree that we can't see ghosts... but there is a lot more to perception and *feeling* the people (souls) around you - than simply seeing them. You have fear, she doesn't seem to, so yes it does seem her faith & trust in these matters might be greater than yours.
I see the same in some religious folks I know. But I don't know if Betty is religious. I mean basic faith in life, basic trust that she'll be protected.

There would be no reason.. imo.. for you to be nervous. But I completely understand why you feel that way.
Why would it make you less faithful though? I think people panic too much to be honest.. in general, not just about ghosts.. and it bothers me because I see so much negativity happening because of people panicking.

Sure, we can say everything is Mind over Matter. But having fear is apart human nature. Sometimes emotions can't be controlled all the time, and doing so isn't healthy. I do have a problem w.the fear because of my last experience.
I talked to religious minded people about it & of course they are pretty much useless but somehow your words helped me.

I'm only human to. As I said I am scared of some things, but I try to stay calm. Ghosts don't scare me though.
But there are other things I am scared of. I try really hard not to overreact out of fear.. because I really think it's such a negative emotion and it leads to people hurting each other (and also hurting animals and insects) Last night when I walked my dog, I ran into a girl who was terrified of dogs. I would probably react the same way to a snake or something I personally find scary. It's the fight or flight response. I think as people we imagine things are trying to hurt us, when that's often not the case. Do you know what I mean? And maybe that applies to ghosts as well. We always think everything is all about us.. This girl I bumped into was sure that my dog was 'after her' just because he looked her way.. and the only reason he looked that way is because he wanted to *pee* on the tree behind her (I know my own dog!). If objects did move around suspiciously.. and if it really was a ghost doing that... why should we jump to the conclusion that the ghost is unfriendly and trying to get us? Maybe the ghost was doing something that has no connection whatsoever with you or with your house - and it just so happened that those objects were moved in the process....
