Mercury would be your ascendant ruler. That's what the OP is asking about, but I think Mars/ascendant might add something in the way that you're thinking. I have Mars trine ascendant, and am not usually so extreme. IP: Logged |

I'm Capricorn Rising, so my ruler would be Saturn, it's conjunct my Ascendant in 1st House, and conj Mercury, Venus, and Neptune. Saturn is also trined Moon, sextile MC & Pluto. I feel very dedicated to my goals, and i can see each little step i have to take to make the bigger picture happen in my future. Making dreams come true, saturn gives me the strength to see it through to the end.IP: Logged |

Ooo i'm a libra asc too my venus is retro conj. my sun. I don't feel very Leonine though. Internally i think im outgoing and i wish i could entertain, does that count? hahah ------------------ I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.-Poe If the truth is relative then there's nothing that is really true. That's a good question... Wish I knew the answer My Asc is Libra, Venus is in Aqua H5. No planet conjuncts, but it exact conjuncts Juno, and conjuncts Ceres at 3* and Eros at 9*. Not sure what it all means but I'm a really good relationship partner and this might have something to do with it. But they say that Aquarius has a detached affect... that only seems to affect me in friendships, not relationships... I'm very devoted, nurturing, affectionate in relationships... ------------------ Charts about me and my partner, if you want to look: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum23/HTML/000306.html IP: Logged |

Chart ruler Mercury in late Cancer conjunct Moon in Leo in the 11th house---not sure what it means.Although I am a Cancer I am also very Leo-like--proud,generous to a fault, like a lot of drama, like to look at myself in the mirror,etc.--all the good Leo stuff.Being in the 11th I also like to be part of the group. What are some other ideas for Moon/Mercury in the 11th?Whoops double post-- IP: Logged |

I'm a Sagittarius ascendant, with Jupiter closely conjunct Mars in Scorpio, 10th house. But my asc. also has Neptune within 1 degree on the 1st house side. The Mars Jup. conjunction is also loosely opposite my Taurus Moon. Mostly I fall into a trap of letting other people/things define me, which is why I got into astrology in the first place. I really liked that there was a way to google different aspects of my personality. It's helped me a lot, but it's also made me realize that this is a problem for me as well. I can't detach from myself well enough to say how I come across to other people. Sometimes other people tell me, but I have a lot of Plutonic factors (like 8th house Sun sextile Pluto), and I always feel like people aren't telling me what they really think anyway, haha. One thing I do know, though, is that really strenuous physical activity is a great stress reliever for me. And not sports, either, I am actually really put off by competition. I don't even like to engage (maybe because I'm scared of losing?), so I'll just let the other person have their say, or "win" or whatever right of the bat, esp. if it's a really heartfelt competition, or really intense. My favorite activity has always been more exploration-based. Like when I was a kid, we moved a few times, and we always lived kind of in the PNW forests. I would wander through thorny salmonberry and blackberry brush on small game trails until I was lost. Sometimes I wouldn't find my way back until dark. Somehow, it never upset my mother that her 9,10,11-year-old daughter was out gallavanting the countryside in poacher territory! Sometimes I would run across them (random dudes with guns/bows), and they would ask me if I'd seen any deer/elk around. Haha, I remember sneaking off with my stepdad's machete to cut new trails for myself until my hands were blistered and bleeding. I was such a weird little girl. Now I think my Toro Moon has gotten the better of me because mostly I read stuff about astrology online and watch Netflix!! And bake unhealthy s&*t. GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE ROCKS!IP: Logged |

My ASC ruler, Uranus, is conjunct Saturn and Neptune... people often see me as uptight and mysterious/quiet, so they're all taken aback that I'm actually an oddball. heheIP: Logged |

My chart ruler is Mercury conjunct Venus in the 3rd house. I've always been into writing and communicating my ideas in a pleasant and agreeable way. I love poetry and sweet words. I also don't like fights that much. Like, I tend to avoid them at all costs. I would say I feel the Venusian energy influencing my Mercury a lot.IP: Logged |

I thought my Pluto conjunction being in 4th was nicely tucked away and invisible except to me , but my chart ruler Moon is conj that Pluto and so it is actually visible to everyone ? Gulp IP: Logged |
