I'm a Libra rising. My ruling planet is Venus. In my chart, Venus is conjunct Pluto. I have always felt Pluto very personally, especially in the manner in which I project myself.

What is your ASC ruler? Is it conjunct anything? Do you feel that energy strongly, or notice that others see it in you?

Venus conjunct Pluto sounds fun.

I have Leo rising...ASC ruler is the sun, but it's a singleton in Capricorn. So that's as far as I can answer the question.

Oooh, the funniest person I know is Mercury conjunct Sun in Aqua. I love that aspect; and I love Aqua mercs especially.

I have my chart ruler Uranus conjunct my Sun in Sagittarius. I've always felt the presence of both planets very deeply in my life--but because they are both so integral to my ego (chart ruler and sun); I always just assumed that was why. Well, always assumed since I got into astrology, which was only about a year or so ago.

I think people definitely pick up on it but tbh I think the most noticeable part of my personality is my Pisces moon. It is in the first so that's probably why.

I wanted to make a thread about the ASC ruler and how descriptive it is (or not) of our personality.

I'm with amowls on this one, ASC ruler Mercury makes only one aspect - conjunction to my Sun (5°).

I have a fire void so I'm not firey at all, and I don't think I come across as Leo-like but definitely more Gemini-like.

The conjunction is in Scorpio in the 6th, so I'm pretty much invisible to others.

Venus is my ruler according to my ascendent, and it conjuncts my jupiter and mercury in the 8th house. I know what those two aspects do, but I am unsure what flavor having venus as the ruler imparts to it.

My ruler is mars and it's conjunct sun too~
I would loveee to have sun or venus conjunct asc though! Cameron Diaz has her venus like conjunct her asc exact and you can see that venus in her for sure!

My chart ruler is Pluto, and it conjuncts my Saturn. I'm not sure that I can say one way or the other whether or not Saturn really strongly affects my Asc, because 1) My Sun is in the 10th anyway, and 2)My Saturn aspects quite a bit in my chart. I tend to come across as aloof and reserved when people first meet me, and I don't always talk a lot when first meeting others. It's Saturn-like and also Scorpio Asc-like. However, Saturn is a fairly big player in my chart, so it affects me regardless.

I have a late Virgo Ascendent. My Mercury is conjunct Pluto in Libra. The conjunction is in my 1st house so I do feel this energy strongly. I hate miscommunication and misunderstandings. I pay more attention to whay people don't say then what people say. I'm not superficial when it comes to communication.

i have aries rising ruler in mars sagittarius and mars has opposition jupiter and is also conjinct merc...alot of ppl see me as i can talk too much lol i can come off dumb and ditzy i smile easily n laugh a lot, wild, alcoholic lol not really anddd can come off better than but im truly interested in ppl n like to make them happy yup i can deff see how this works o yea and venus is trine my asc venus in scorpio so yes i can be pretty moody at times too thats for sure

I am a Cancer Rising and the ruler the Moon is conjunct my Sun in Scorpio. I do have leonine qualities to me but then I also have Leo intercepted in the first.

Uranus is my chart ruler and it's conjunct Saturn. In this situation I'd suppose Saturn would attempt to limit the influences of Uranus but it doesn't surprisingly. I'm dominant Uranus in my chart and I feel this energy pretty potently. I do however feel Saturn, it's a bit of a balancer in regards to all that Uranus energy I have. Uranus is like jump off a bridge and Saturn is like wait! In the end though Uranus usually wins.

I don't know but I feel each of these planet placements individually even though their tightly conjunct at a 1 degree orb. It's interesting. I guess the conjunction just means they work harmoniously together.

People see both Uranus and Saturn in my personality, because I'm an Aquarius Rising and I'm born on the 26th which is ruled by Venus and Saturn. Ethics and justice are important to me so is freedom of thought and action. I've got incredible self discipline and I'm demure yet I'm radical in my thought patterns and beliefs. I notice that my friends consider me to be a bit judgmental. I'm seriously like the arbitrator. Give me a situation and I'll use discrimination and fair judgment to reach a concise solution. However, I don't give advice unless it's asked of me.

My asc ruler is Pluto, and it isn't conjunct anything. It's caught in a T-square, though, as well as trine a couple of planets.
