There are people who get sick all of the time & others it is very rare.Discuss:
How often do you & people you know acquire illnesses & what is the illness? What planets are in their 6th, whats their chart ruler, bad aspects to it, etc. What do you think shows illness?

I rarely get sick aside from like one slight cold during the winter. Last week, though, I got hit with a nasty stomach bug and wanted to shrivel up and die.Chiron in Gem in the 6th. Jupiter in Aqua/2nd is my chart ruler, t-squared by Saturn in Scorp/11th and Venus in Taurus/5th. Venus rules my 6th. IP: Logged |

I rarely get sick but the most common complain is stomach ache due to digestion. (Virgo Sun)

Oh... I didn't consider a stomach ache as being sick. I have Sun, Mercury and Mars in Cancer. I'm always having some sort of digestive issue.  IP: Logged |

It's funny because I rarely ever get colds, or the flu. However, I just had a fever attack a couple weeks ago or so and it was AWFUL. 105.9. I tend to notice I get sick when I'm thinking negatively, or I have problems with gut health - ironic because I have a hard time listening to intuition and "gut" feelings. Sore throat? What am I not speaking? It truly does coincide. I always found it funny me evil Leo Sun ex was ALWAYS getting sick and getting the flu. Hmmm.... I wonder why.Oh, the signs - right. I have Pluto on the cusp of both 5th and 6th houses, otherwise I guess Sagittarius rules my 6th house though. IP: Logged |

LOL DS, I just saw that you are from "UNITED STATES, BABY." I have frequent health problems (more like annoyances), but I usually solve them with my own research and natural cures, and move on. I have my sun and Mercury in the 6th. I've read at least 100 books on natural health and use whole foods, herbs, homeopathy, vitamins, juice, exercise, positive thinking for recovery. Occasionally I have been depressed (Saturn in the 12th) and then it's difficult for me to care for myself. I actually get a bit self-destructive at times. But when there's a crisis I always rise to the occasion, and have cured some serious problems this way. Basically I am optimistic about my health, because I have faith in natural medicine and also believe in miracles. Even if I die young, I'd rather live optimistically. Venus trine Jupiter.

I dont usually get sick.
The only bad things I get are sore throats. When I get those it is bad. Bad Bad Bad.
Strep Throat sick.
The only other health problem I had was chronic appendicitis.
I was horribly sick for over a year till I went in for emergency surgery in January.
Have not been sick since.

Propolis is GREAT for sore throats. Not sure if it's potent enough to beat strep but it doesn't hurt to try. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propolis

Faith, I'd love to try natural healing methods, too. But I'm not very well informed on that matter yet.

Same here, I'm always having some sort of problem in my stomach. It's really annoying!
Otherwise, I don't get ill that often, fortunately. When I do it's usually something to do with my bad eating habits, that affects my entire body..

I am rarely sick (knock on wood). When I am sick, it's usually just feeling a bit stuffy or run-down; when I was little, the worst would be a cold. Very, very few times have I been really seriously ill, with the last time being in February of 2010 and the time before that one, I can't even remember. No 6th house planets. No Virgo at all anywhere in my chart (am noticing a lot of Virgos/Virgo influenced people here).

Reproductively challenged, problems with weight - all related to hormonal imbalances. I blame them on my Cancer Jupiter Rx in the 5th or 6th (depending on house system) and genes, of course. Jupiter rules my Sun. IP: Logged |

I'm never sick it's no fun.  Last time I got sick I had this amazing fever and I slept 16 hours of the day and my bed was burning up, I was so hot; it was wonderful...snuggled up with all these blankets...so warm. But aside from that and the slight weakness, I was pretty much fully functional. Sixth House Aquarius, no planets, Uranus in Cap/Fifth. IP: Logged |

I know of cases of lung cancer that were cured by the macrobiotic diet...which teaches that dairy can turn to mucous in the lungs, eventually giving rise to tumors. IP: Logged |

I don't get sick very often, then it's just a cold or flu. My main ailment is lower back pain... or restless leg syndrome (not diagnosed). Both of which have been minor issues since I was a child.6 ruler: Taurus. No planets in 6th. ------------------

I swear I pretty much went a decade with out getting sick. From second grade to high school I would play hooky.
But being sick for real sucks. But I feel like now that I smoke, my immune system is a little weaker. I chain smoke when my stress level is high. Also the last time I got really sick was about a year ago. I work at a school. And I feel like I'm always covering other people's @sses at work cause they get run down, or their kids get sick, or their kid has a flippin hockey tournament or something. Last year when I finally got run down I was told by the doc not to return to work for a week. My work was screwed, I was not the only one who was out. (we all kind of have the same immune systems) But during that time I learned about elderberries and how it's better than taking tamiflu. I'm pretty sure I'm the one taking other peoples shifts there most of the time cause I'm pretty close to work, and I don't have any kids, and I'm breaking from school.
but I finally got run down this week, and on my p3riod. And taking peoples shifts. (hell I tell you) I have been feeling yucky since Monday. I realized I was getting sick by Tuesday. Got though Wednesday. (now Easter break wooo!) And FINALLY RESTING TODAY. Feeling better today. My health should be back to normal tomorrow. Good cause I'm getting a massage and facial tomorrow with my friend. Lately if I start to feel sick or have been around sick people I take an elderberry or something immediately. And am better the next day. I think I forgot to do that last week though. This one class I work in 4 kids had strep throat one day. Plus I'm ran out of a lot of my elderberries stuff. Bought a bunch yesterday though. So I'm resting taking elderberries drinking the juice, having the tea with honey, drinking the OJ with pineapple banana. My head doesn't feel warm anymore but my throat is still sore. Gem Rising so Mercury in Taurus is my chart ruler in the 12th house.

I rarely get sick... if I do, it's pretty much a cold from being run down. A few vitamins, OJ, water & rest... I'm like new. Sleep and hydration are so important! Until my 20s, I had severe asthma & allergies. Sneezed dozen times a day, any cold went straight to my lungs, hospitalized, tons of inhalers & treatments... LUCKILY I somehow kicked both the allergies & asthma by 25 yrs old. Now I don't even notice the high pollen levels even when everyone around me is sneezing & sniffling like crazy! Empty 6th house
