Working with those in a hospice, an old age home, hospitals etc. is related to the 12th House Pisces/Neptune whilst working with the dead, as a mortician or in a funeral home, studying anatomy and cadavers or even trauma surgeons is more of the 8th House Scorpio/Pluto territory.

*sniffle sniffle* Thanks, Doux. Yeah, I miss my parents.

So let's see, my sun is in the 6th, ruler of the sixth in the 12th, ruler of the 12th in the 8th.

Don't mean to bore anyone but it's just true that I was exposed to a lot of death from an early age. I come from a huge older family and someone was always dying.

I also found the bodies of my grandmother and mother. And took the phone calls when others had died. I just seem to have an affinity for this.

Will check out my asteroids.

(((Faith)))

Must have been very difficult.

I think with your placements, you'd be very good at it.

You're so sweet, Doux. Yeah...I will most likely work in hospice eventually.

*hug* Nice talking with you!

P.S. And Doux, I think you would make a good therapist. You're so understanding and soothing.

Aww, no you're the sweetest!
Thank you for your kind words! *hugs*

There was a time when I wanted to do that, but I've heard discouraging stories about it. Apparently people who actually want to be empathetic and understanding don't make good therapists because they get too involved emotionally with their patients. So it seems that "good" therapists are the ones who can be detached and logical, and not necessarily feeling types. I can be detached, though! So that's not really the problem. The thing is that I'm afraid I'd get too depressed myself in listening to the problems of other people. I don't know what I want to do with my life yet.. Still searching for a vocation!

Look at the position of Asteroids ANUBIS [1912], SIVA [1170 and OSIRIS [1923] to understand your fascination.
You can always post your chart with these asteroids in the Asteroid Forum.

osiris and siva in h8. anubis in h3. siva conjuncts my chiron under 2 degs. anubis sextiles my mars in scorpio also under 2 degs. osiris does nothing but is conjunct asteroid lust. also this is probably within a deg or two from my sun moon midpoint.

signplacements and houses witih asteroids are not nearly enough to say anything about their effect.
You need to check for the tight aspects (2 degrees) to other planets, especially Sun, Moon, ASC, Nodes, and in the case of spiritual things of course Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to see what they are doing.

Check for configurations as well. Like a Grand Trine, T-square, Yod or Grand Cross or Mystical triangle.

Grand trines in water seem to be especially strong in occult regards on an emotional level, of people who are clairsentient.

I think your emotional intelligence will play out well in any vocation...and work to your advantage in job interviews

Can I ask, without derailing this thread too much, what vocations interest you?
