I was wondering if there is anything unique in the charts of those who work with the dead.People say it takes a special person I myself have always been fascinated with death. Not in a sick way.. but I wouldnt mind being an ME or Funeral Director, Embalmer, or even a detective who works on murder cases. IP: Logged |

That is fascinating Fair aqua. I think it is a calling and an honorable one. Bless you! I do not think I should contact the dead as the Bible says no and I am a Bible believer. I would like to to have answers but I honor the Bible so I don't. ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Probably strong Neptune/12th house, and maybe some Pluto/8th house..

That's really good, Faith. Your placements show a very sensitive and maybe even psychic nature. IP: Logged |

There has been way too much death in my life. I used to be an agent in doling out death (the military), and that sort of turned me away from all fascination. Ruler of 12th House in 7th House.IP: Logged |

See I have no interest in working with the living in a medical sense. That, in my opinion, takes a special person. Here is my chart as I am not seeing anything yall are mentioning.

I couldn't work with the dead or anything related to death, I don't think. It scares me. There was a thread a while ago about someone who was terrified of death and if I remember well they had a bunch of personal planets in Scorpio and I could relate. Not what most astrologers would tell you but Scorpio influenced people aren't all "I'm not scared of death" folks. Can be quite the contrary.

As a RN, one of my favirot things is to take care of dying patients and their families, in the ICU.Have always wanted to do hospice, but just doesnt pay enough for me at this time of my life. I feel so blessed to be able to help a fellow mortal pass on and to ease the family's pain. I believe death is just as important as birth, if not moreso. I have a Scorp asc, nothing much else, but I do have 3 fixed, tight Tsquares, with 4 personal planets touching, my asc, closely, including a Taurus moon. Pisces sun with Neptune in the 12th~ Death does not scare me, not at all...I find it very intriuging and when folks do pass I feel something come for them and something leave. Great thread!!! I might add that I have experienced people with heavy Plutonic/Scorpionic things seem to have death issues to deal with their entire lives.I have a dear friend, who lost her dad, and sister recently. Has had issues with burials in the UK, she lives in Ireland, and keeps running into things of death like funeral processions, etc. She is a Scorpio sun, with almost all plantes in Scorp in the 7th. I told her yesterday, I think her lessons/teachings in life are to know and teach that death is not the end.... IP: Logged |

I can never understand people who claim they're not afraid of death. Maybe these are people who are strongly spiritual and "know" that there's something after death, but personally I am not at a point in life where I can be chill about it. Just the thought of it scares me, because no one knows what comes after and I am not into surprises, especially bad ones.Hopefully one day I'll be more accepting of it because obviously it's part of everyone's journey and no one can escape it, but right now, I'd better not focus on it. It's good to have people like you though, hippichick!

Yes this makes sense. Probably why Plutonians often have death surrounding them, so they can learn to let go and understand that some things cannot be controlled.

I'm SO glad someone like you is there, taking care of these people in their grief. Doux, thanks so much for your vote of confidence. I think I am intuitive, maybe have a latent psychic gift. There have been times when I was outright psychic. I've always been empathic and assumed that I knew what everyone was feeling. I navigate through life based on these hunches. So I would like to use that ability to comfort people who are dying...to listen to them wholeheartedly, lend whatever help I can, just be there. As for dead bodies, funerals...no interest! However, I find the actual business, apart from the bodies, very interesting...the funeral directors are usually immaculately dressed and know everything about flowers and churches and etiquette.

My father died very gallantly. I have no other word for it. He knew he was dying, he greeted friends with a brilliant smile, his eyes shone with love....he exuded compassion for me, knowing I would be "orphaned" (at age 31.) So I think, I can do that. I'm my father's daughter, and I can do that. Heck I made it through childbirth without painkillers! Surely I can die without too much stress. IP: Logged |

Faith, no wonder you are psychic! Or at least very intuitive. It's a great thing. I am sorry for your father, but it sounds like he was very strong.
I am sure you are just as strong! And it's really good to hear that people want to take care of others while they're dying. It's a very noble thing to do, in my opinion.

Occult topics are best understood with the analysis of Occult theme Asteroids. Look at the position of Asteroids ANUBIS [1912], SIVA [1170 and OSIRIS [1923] to understand your fascination.
