Me neither, I never relate to people on a moon sign level, I relate to them strictly on a superficial/sun sign level, that's why I found it so bizarre that my closest friends seem to carry this moon pattern. I don't see their moons in their behaviour.

---I have to agree here--and it always seems like the overall chart is most important--numerous strong contacts. i have venus in cancer in the 2nd and i am attracted to cancer and taurus men but these relationships haven't worked. best has been a man with cancer rising who has venus/pluto conj asc which is conj my venus. his mars is in taurus in the 11th which speaks to my aquarius (my 1st house uranus, my moon in the 11th). my mars is in libra so i have been attracted to men who are too weak for me so my partner now has sun square saturn which is like my saturn/sun conjunction and his moon is libra opposite my moon in aries so he balances me out emotionally. the worst for me was a man whose venus was in gemini conjunct my uranus and it was very attractive but really unsatisfying--that venus in gemini didn't satisfy my venus in cancer AT ALL though it was a LTR

A guys Venus is nice, but that sort of feels more like how they are viewing me. I mean, it's nice if we like the same types of things but it's not a biggie. If they like me, their Venus is usually compatible.

The Moon is where I get screwed. I've went for all different types, but I need to fall for it to have staying power. Problem is, most of the guys that fall for me don't have a moon that I fall for. Since I don't connect well with my own Moon, it's difficult for me to connect with other's Moons... it's more subtle and felt after a longer period of time. (Yeah, talking about the Moon, not Saturn).

i have done some research on a certain point: that the planet the rises before the sun (planet of oriental appearance) reflects in some important way the mother's moon sign--either moon sign, moon house placement, or moon conj a planet. the only time this breaks down is when it is a new moon chart. i looked at many mother-child charts and there was often a very interesting and predictable connection. the reason i got into this this was that i just noticed it in charts i was doing--

Our Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are the same, but that's only because we're of the same generation.

I didn't know astrological aspects of all my girlfriends. Only knew their Sun signs.

My wife is a Leo Sun, but lo and behold, she is a six planet Virgo stellium.

The first(& the only) guy who I truly had romantic feelings for was a Virgo Sun, Gemini Moon & Pisces Ascendant.

My Moon in Virgo conjs. his Sun/Mercury.

My descendant in Cancer tends to look for guys with Virgoan traits(not Cancerian strangely). Moon, it's lord, sits in the 8th. Guys I've been with till now were either Scorpios or had an angular or prominent Pluto(t-square).

Leo's intercepted in my 7th.
My Sun & Mars are conjunct in Sagittarius. However, men of this Zodiac sign have never caught my attention. Leo's? yes! I adore them.

Scorpio in all of the placements, but I've only known one Scorpio moon and we have a spiritual connection but not a sexual one.

The moons have varied between Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces and Aries both significantly once.

Venus - Scorpio or Sagittarius, and occasionally Aquarius and Aries.

Mars - Scorpio and Aries, and one very significant Aquarius mars. Also two of my best friends have Pisces mars and my best best friend has a Sagittarius mars like me.
