How do you handle a love relationship with a Sun square Pluto person?

I currently have a Sun square Pluto person pursuing me. I feel scared for some reason .. Im not sure why .. I never ever expected this person to fall in love with me. But all the signs are there. The intentions r becoming increasingly clear. This is someone I really value as a friend and don't want to ruin anything so .. if they make a move on me .. I'm not sure what to do.

What do you when a Sun sq Pluto person falls in love with you?

What's it like?

What can I expect?

what are the dos and donts?

Please let me know asap. thank you.

I'm sun square Pluto and a few of my very good friends are, too. We are all Capricorns born in the Libra Pluto generation.

I think we are good people!

I see my own internal struggles, but honestly don't I see them playing out in my relationships. If anything it just makes me more humble or accommodating. Sometimes I don't know WHAT the heck I want so I just defer to my husband.

Best wishes to you.

Doux, you cheer me up so many times! Thank you!

Yes, I feel that I have to mindfully withhold my intensity so I don't rattle people's nerves. Having Pluto in my 3rd house is also a challenge.

It's a skill that can be learned, though.

And if I fail, forgive me, please.

Hi Faith,

Thank you for replying. but you didn't really tell me what's expected of me here.

How do you'll handle rejection? Will I end up in a fatal attraction type of situation? that's what the astro sites say. Hence I ask the real people, who have this aspect and deal with it everyday. They'd know better.

Please help me.

I handle rejection pretty graciously and always have.

I cannot guarantee anything, but if you don't want this person on your trail, I would just say so.

As for me, I was always willing to keep friendships with men who broke up with me.

Best wishes.

I have been involved with an Aqua square Pluto man. Sun rules his 7th too. He can be really intense and he goes after what he want's. I was so puzzled reading descriptions of Aquarians and how detached they are, he is nothing like that. As far as rejection goes, if you are not interested in him, you should let him know, and let him down gently. I can only imagine how intensely they feel. He doesn't trust or let people in easily. And I know he has been through a lot that he doesn't readily share.

Do be honest. Don't play games.

I must say though, when it comes to this man, this is a theme that repeats with his chart, as most important themes do in a natal chart. For example, his Venus-Uranus conjunction falls on his Sun-Pluto midpoint 0*. So it's a ll taken out of context.

Good luck to you!

To the OP, this site posts accurate descriptions, Dark Star Astrology. You might not have read it so I will quote (!)

quote:
Sun Square Pluto
September 27, 2011
By Marina

Sun square Pluto’s persona is serious about secrecy and control. The subjects personal life may remain a mystery, as they are experts at armour plating their true emotions. They don’t let much slip and can be extreme control freaks. The word anal was invented for these guys, for they rule over their domain with an iron will and a steel fist. They need to know where everything is at all times and woe betide anyone who changes the order of their alphabetically arranged CD collection. They can be intimidating and in extreme cases tyrannical. Sometimes the father can be experienced in this way.

These people can be stalkers and obsessive callers, they panic if their lover doesn’t return a text or goes off radar. To Sun square dark Pluto it’s like they have died or something. They have a real fear of death, but in their panic they are often self sabotaging and create the very scenario they fear the most. They are are most afraid of their demonic, unacceptable, beastly thoughts, which can translate as feeling that something about them is ugly, and that they are deformed in someway. They might hide behind a mask, this could be simply very plain or dark clothes they can disappear behind or conversely elaborate, over-the-top freakish make-up. Anything that distracts from the real self that they find unacceptable. However as you can see from the list of celebrities below, once this square is mastered, the power and magic of the aspect is phenomenal. At some point they may indeed have to face some sort of “death”. Having survived this they become indestructible and exude the awesome aura of a Phoenix that has been through the flames and come out 10 times stronger.

I bolded what I had to deal with. Altho the bit about 'come back stronger' with my guy, the fear of loss didn't go away. So the 'power' that he holds is highly suspect. I'm so happy I have the trine, I played him at his own game and WON, mwahahaha. Just don't act like you feel a certain way when you don't. That is my best advice. My guy liked to cut to the quick, which is something I did appreciate about him.

I also did more research & found people writing about their experiences of Sun sq Pluto people being bullies. So be a strong woman. It's because they feel weak & want to dominate. Tho if they're feeling good about their accomplishments it shouldn't be much of an issue. It's when they're not getting what they want that it comes out. Like I said, I broke it off for a reason.

I should have broken it off right when he started w.the obsessive calling & when I didn't return his calls for 3 days showed up at my door & asked me 4 times throughout the convo, 'where have you been, i've been calling i thought maybe you were on vacation'

I am sun conj pluto 0* which is much stronger than the square, I am obsessive though I have too much pride to put myself where I am not wanted...I want what I want when I want it and Right then, that includes people...no one really tells me no...But my Pride would never allow me to go after a person That didnt want me/saw me as unfit...Is this being in libra or is it my strong moon in cappy?

^ I think it's part of being more purposeful in general & sure of aims like you say, Sun aligned w.Pluto. Squares are by their nature conflicted because the energy is twisted inside; they're picking up info from the environment that is being processed in a way that distorts reality, so their reactions seem out of place to the situation at hand.

I think you should be honest with the person. Ultimately it's always the best course. Being a Sun sq Pluto myself, the desire to get to the bottom of things is what drives me nuts. (not to mention my Moon also squares Pluto) The article Lonake posted says it all:

quote:
...once this square is mastered, the power and magic of the aspect is phenomenal. At some point they may indeed have to face some sort of “death”. Having survived this they become indestructible and exude the awesome aura of a Phoenix that has been through the flames and come out 10 times stronger.

I will even go the lengths and say that if my feelings are really starting to go out of hand, I even 'seek' rejection (if I'm in a sort of unrequited love situation) by telling the person exactly how I feel. I know that whatever the outcome is, it will only make me better. 'Death' doesn't frighten us; only being left in oblivion. The built-up tension can be too much, and you will even help the person ease this intense energy by being honest, and they will thank you for it. I am also very much willing to keep friendships, though only after I have already moved on.

You know the person, so they could either react as what Lonake had experienced or as the positive one. But by the sound of it, I think the latter would be more likely. I dunno, just a hunch... Best of luck!

Thank you to everyone who posted. Good advice. I'll keep it all in mind.

Im a Sun trine Pluto btw. I dont know if I would handle it better bcoz of that?

Lonake, you scared me a little. I think my friend is really nice & very loving actually. So I can't imagine him stalking me. I probably have more pluto aspects than he does. He is very strong/powerful but also emotional, because of his past, which he started to share with me recently. Very personal stuff. I am so surprised that he would choose to tell me what he has.

I dont want to hurt him. I dont want to lose him. It's not that I'm not interested, it more off what if I give it a try n then it doesn't work out .. he wont want to be friends.

I guess with my 11th house Venus, friends are pretty important to me. this kinda thing always happens .. and then I lose friends. sigh.

Honestly, I think I may have paid a visit to my lover if they didn't return my calls for 3 days lol Though I wouldn't pressure them into telling me where they have been, I would certainly be curious.. I have no sun aspect to Pluto
