Moon in Capricorn

That is something that irritates me a little about the whole "the Moon is the woman a man will end up with" theory because it's really heterosexist. Where do gay men fit into that equation? Do they choose close female friends who embody the Moon? Or is that even an unconscious process for a gay man?

I do think that SOME men project their Moon on to the women in their lives. Because it is essentially the yin energy, which is receptive and fluid, and seen as female. But not ALL men project the Moon on to their female friends, girlfriends, female relatives, etc. Some men are very much their Moon sign, like me. I feel I've always been in touch with my Scorpio energy but probably because my Moon is angular.

So where does that leave men like this in that whole theory? While a certain Virgo Moon man, out of touch with his feminine side, may be looking for a female to embody the Virgo for him, there may be a Taurus Moon male who's very in touch with this side of himself and IS the Taurus for the mate in his life. So, in a heterosexual relationship, how would this work? Said man would support and nurture his female partner in Taurean ways. This same female might be very Solar and be the yang to his yin, instead of vice versa.

We shouldn't subscribe to such outdated ideas of gender and relationships. I don't mean to rain on the OP's parade because it's an interesting question but it's a little narrow-minded in its scope. I do believe some men "marry their Moon", but all men certainly don't. There are also definitely some rather unfeminine women out there (who aren't lesbians). Not all women are sensitive and feeling. So maybe this same women could be looking for the Moon in her partner (who could be male).

Basically, the Moon is how we support and nurture and what supports and nurtures us; what makes us feel comfortable; and what our intimate zone is. So, it makes sense for ANYONE, male or female; gay, straight, or bisexual, to marry or become committed to someone who embodies their Moon. Just like anyone can be the embodiment of they're Moon, so long as their connected to this side of themselves.

Every Taurus girl I've ever met is a b*tch...as in she will have everything her way come hell or high water. Stubborn. No sympathy. Her friend is having trouble with her marriage and Ms. Taurus doesn't feel like lending an ear or offering words of comfort? She'll just say, "It's your marriage and none of my business" while her friend weeps herself to sleep lol.

Yikes she does sound mean, the only thing I have noticed about Taurus women that bothers me is theycan be very materialistic, libras can be materialistic as well, it must be a Venus thing.

Try to stay on topic Capaquarius.

& I've never heard more untrue words about the Taurus woman.

Usually we are the shoulders our female and male friends cry on.

I'm not a man, so I can't answer this question.

Exactly. Venus/Aphrodite wasn't exactly known for her compassion; she was self-serving and did as she pleased.

@ topic: one guy wants to get married to me... he has Moon in Gemini. But his mother is a Scorpio with Moon in Aquarius. She and I have nearly identical personal planets. Same degree of Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars. The only difference is that she's a Venusian Scorpio (Sun-Venus conjunction) and I'm a Martian Cap (Sun-Mars conjunction). And there have been some spooky instances when we did the exact same thing...like this one time at a dinner, someone asked if anyone happened to have a ziploc bag. There were about 20 people seated at the table and she and I simultaneously pulled Ziploc bags out of our purses lols.

(The guy says that he perceived his mom as being "very busy" when he was young. The natal Moon placement and aspects reflect how the child perceived its mother, not necessarily her sign.)

My dad also has Moon in Gemini and his mom talks nonstop and is really alert. She's a Scorpio but looks like she could have Gemini rising (tall with an angular face....think Gandalf in the LOTR movies..the actor is a Gemini). My mother has Mercury conjunct her ascendant and she is also a talker and a thinker like my dad's mom.

Venus (as in you) , Coincidence or not: 2 men have fallen head over heels for me at first sight & have been absolutely unwilling to think that I possess any negative characteristics whatsoever & practically kiss the ground I walk on & shower me with compliments = both have Pisces Moon conj my Sun AND both have Capricorn Venus conj my Moon/Venus. Is this synastric magic?

Men with moon in Sagittarius tend to like women of another race or culture. Of the three Sag moon men that I know, two are in interracial relationships and the third is dating a woman of the same race who was born in Brazil (he's Canadian). Trent Reznor has a Sag moon and he dated outside of his race exclusively for about 14 years before marrying Mariqueen (who is from another race AND culture). I'm just shocked he got married, these men usually don't. lol.

Oh god I hope not! My sun is 29th degree Virgo and I really do not get on with Virgo Moons. My mother is one, my friend's girlfriend is one and one of my other good friends, he has a Virgo moon too. Don't get me wrong, i'm not against Virgo but Virgo Moons just irritate me so much. In my experience they are quite sensitive and not particularly light hearted. They spend a lot of time commenting on things that whoever they are talking to could do, in that kind of way, "you know it would be better if you did it like this", "you should eat some more vegetables to be healthy", "why don't you go out and get some exercise you've been inside all day", "You need to get some work done, go on, go do it."

I don't know whether it is different in Men and Women but my Male friend is a lot more relaxed and less touchy, sensitive, critical than the women I know with Virgo moon. His Chart is Gemini Cancer in the personal planets with the Virgo Moon.

In my chart my Sun conjuncts my Mercury and Mars, squares my moon, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune and Semi-Squares my Venus and Pluto. So any Virgo Mooners will be touching all my planets.

Now slightly more on topic...

I have a Gemini Moon and a Scorpio Venus. I will say that I don't think I would be happy with either one. I think a mix is definitely necessary for everyone. I don't think I could live in a relationship which was typically Scorpio oriented. I enjoy having a lot of fun, humour, roleplay, mimicry, and smiles. At the same time I love the lust, passion, mystery, emotionality, and intensity of Scorpio. I just don't think I could be happy with one or the other. Stereotypical descriptions I know...

When it comes to the physical side, someone mentioned Air Moons prefer slender women, so would Water Moons prefer more shapely women? I will say I do love athletic women, but I am athletic myself if that has any impact. I do like and appreciate curves as well but tend not to go after the hugely curvacious women.

Runsaround screaming, thats what so many people say, but I dont feel it. I've had two seperate relationships with the mans sun conj my moon (which is supposed to be the ideal) one was 0* the other was 2*. They were both Bad realtionships and very short term. I didnt really feel it that much except as an urge for me to be more domestic and more passive than I would normally be, which I dont particularly like. Maybe my moon is just weak? But someones moon conj mine or fall on my asc/desc and Im just like AAWWWWWWWWW I wrap u up in the blankets with me! Even if its a female, I swear it doesnt matter, lol.

^ totally agree with you. Generally I'm not very attracted to men who have my moon sign (their sun). There are two where it never went anywhere. One of my ex's had his moon conjunct mine, terrible relationship. Another one, we had sun trine sun and moon trine moon, WORST relationship ever.

But one of my ex's from years ago has his sun right on my asc, and we get along great. It's not like we talk everyday but there are no hard feelings and we still very open with each other.

I always thought that "interracial" dating is a fire thing. Many people have either Fire Suns or Moons. Maybe because they do not care as much about conventions?
Michael Fassbender and Robert deNiro come to mind.

My marriage of two similar moons is doing just fine. I don't know what the fuss is all about. Its impossible to lie to each other because we can sniff out BS hundreds of miles away. And we are as interracial as people can possibly get.
