I have this with someone I'm interested in. The synastry is not that great; there are no Venus-Mars or Venus-Venus aspects and none of his personal planets are aspected which makes me think it's a one sided attraction. But we have all those planets conjunct in the composite and the moon is in the seventh. I'm wondering if when there's such a strong composite, can it overcome so-so synastry aspects? Does it mean there's a mutual attraction?

The synastry is not bad or anything...

That is a great composite

Is the sun conjunct venus, and is it a tight conjunct between sun-venus-mercury. Also, are there no planets squaring the stellium or the composite moon? If so, which planets?

Do you have any pluto going on in the composite? If so, which aspects?

Hey again! Thanks for always answering my questions haha.

The moon's aspects are...
Moon conjunct Uranus
Moon opposition Mars
Moon opposition Venus
Moon opposition Sun
(ouch)
and it looks like the only pluto aspect is Mars trine pluto
(edit) and jupiter square pluto :/

I also just noticed we have saturn AND uranus in the seventh along with the moon...ay ya yai...

Ok since you have venus trine neptune and sextile pluto in synastry and moon opposite venus in composite i think this will be a significant relationship. Venus sextile pluto and moon opp venus give really loving feelings, along with the love stellium. Moon opp mars causes arguments, moon conjunct uranus means it'll never settle into a stable relationship unfortunately :/---> power struggles and such

Yeah we also have a lot of uranus aspects too He is ten years older than me so hopefully that's what the uranus is manifesting itself as...

Just wondering how common a first house stellium is in the composite? And can anyone else weigh in if a strong composite can make up for bad/ho hum synastry?

dont know how common or uncommon it is. It has the probability of 1/12 most likely . haha. But either way, I can say it's definitely a great thing as long as its not saturn, uranus, or neptune that's in the first house. Venus, mars, and the moon are especially awesome to have in the 1st house of the composite. I've experienced them all myself and they have been wonderful.

About a strong composite vs. mediocre synastry. Are you sure the synastry is mediocre? Just because you dont have venus conjunct mars or moon-moon aspects etc doesnt mean that it's mediocre. As long as you have a LOT of synastry aspects and they aren't all bad aspects lol, then you're good. Sure, it would be ideal to find someone you have all the BEST synastry aspects with, as well as a great composite, but that is rare. It would probably feel like that person is your soulmate and has more power over you than you could imagine. Those kind of connections happen maybe once every three lifetimes probably..haha.

But anywhoz, the rule for me is that with great synastry and a bad composite you have nothing. Things start out great, lots of sparks etc, but eventually the problems come out and you start feeling like you're not on the same page.

With a great composite and a synastry with a lot of bad aspects...lots of sparks etc, but once again the spark fades. But almost in a different way. Your feelings remain, but there's a reality there that you cant reconcile with your feelings. Either way, because of the good composite, you'll still always think positively of that person and remain on good terms. THE COMPOSITE TRUMPS ALL. I think it was Betty Boop who said once that the composite showed how we feel about someone whereas the synastry shows the reality of how we get along. I thought that observation was brilliant! I feel it really does work that way.

When you have ok synastry with few aspects....you know like say 4 or 5.
and a great composite....well, since the composite is how you feel and the synastry is the reality of your interaction, you will notice that you feel strongly about them, but when you interact there's a lack of chemistry there. As if you had nothing in common and nothing to talk about. Its possible that a great composite trumps synastry with only 3 or 4 aspects, Ive seen it happen many times. But it has to be a GREAT composite...cough cough, unafflicted love stellium or sun conjunct jupiter. But the thing is, even though youll get along well in the previous example, you feel true closeness with someone who you have great synastry with and a great composite with. Those are the connections where you'll think those are the people you've felt truly close to in your life and who you're positive will always be on your side.

Ive experienced that with four people in my life and it really is wonderful.

You are AWESOME! I swear its always you who answers me lol. And I just feel like the synastry is pretty blah because it's mainly my personal planets that are aspected which makes me think I'm the only one who is attracted. I definitely feel like there is a lot of chemistry but it could be wishful thinking, haha. i didn't know that having lots of synastry aspects is a good thing!
