I love cheesecake and my family hates it!! So we never buy it

I'm really adventurous with food too..as long as it tastes good. I would go to china and eat scorpions or something The only thing I wouldnt eat are beatles or bugs at all, bc that's just gross.

Well, it'll still gross me out. It's not like I see a frog and go "mmm! delicious!"

So dont post it lol. It might ruin everyone's appetite as they try to think of which foods they love

You guys know what a New England Clam Bake is? Well, for the Americans, its what the first Thanksgiving dinner in Plymouth was all about. I dig this in summer, especially on the beach.

I prefer chilled Chardonnay, but I know you guys probably like your beer.

I had mine last summer with Polish Kielbasa, Italian sweet sausage, pork chops and NY Angus Sirloin on the side.

I'm a vegetarian and tend to only eat organic food. I also eat a lot of Asian food. And I love soup especially vietnamese pho.

This is pretty true although I'm poor, so going out at all is a luxury. Also I love garlic and onions it goes hand in hand with spicy food duh!

That looks almost identical to Spanish Paella.

RAS,

In Cape Cod, there isn't a lot of wild turkey. There was a lot of seafood though. And they grew corn when they landed. Eating seafood was out of necessity. If there was meat, it would have been mostly deer and perhaps one or two turkeys shared among the whole village settlement. I believe turkeys came when they moved northwards to Boston.

I myself have a New York twist to Thanksgiving. I don't serve the whole turkey, but I serve duck.

Paella is a lot more elaborate in its preparation, with saffron, turmeric and other spices. Paella also has rice and some fresh tomatoes. Sometimes, there is chorizo too.

The New England Clam Bake is a lot more crude. Essentially seafood stuff in a boiling pot of water with salt. Pretty delicious though. And the residual broth can be made into a great soup.

Oh, yes! The famous NE clam bake! I have had the pleasure of delighting my senses with this symphony of a dish since I live in NE.

Seafood would be my most fav thing to eat!

I would try anything once! (including bugs!)

Saggies tend to be gluttons. At least, I am. I love experimenting with recipes too. There has never been a single recipe in my life that I've followed exactly. Makes for quite a few faux pas when baking!

I'm cuban and I second that. Paella is pretty different. The only thing they have in common is they both have seafood lol.

Regardes, a scorpion is very similar to a bug! You're right. Lol. I thought about that when I was typing it too. But then again a grasshopper is also a bug, but it doesn't usually live in infested places and doesnt eat feces and junk like cockroaches do.

^ I love Chinese buffets even though I usually just get the same thing: hot and sour soup, crab-stuffed mushrooms, and broccoli. Some of the other dishes always get gooey and stick to the serving trays.

When I was little, I used to love all kinds of seafood. My family used to go crabbing in Maine and catch crabs, along with fresh mussels off the rocks there. I guess this was either before pollution or we didn't care...it tasted good, much better than anything since.

I hate to be squeamish but ANY eyeballs in a dish make me not want to eat it. It's like the dish is watching me.

So Ian, thanks for the clambake picture, but the shrimps had heads!

Ian, how do they taste??
