That's fascinating. Do you think it worked?

I just make a lot of chicken broth when we have colds...Jewish penicillin.

So many weird little animals to eat, and so little time.

Well, in the event that I travel to these places, I'll look to you for more advice, i.e. where do you get the best barbecued rat.

Truth is, I like reading stories of people in desperate situations, so I am very familiar with the absolute thrill that can be had while eating any kind of animal.

Like they say, Hunger is the best appetizer.

I just hope it never comes down to me eating grubs to stay alive...but if I do, I hope the grubs make me as healthy as the Africans you see, with their perfect smiles and clear eyes.

I'm not sure you understand. . Those are delicacies, meaning they would much prefer barbecued rats to whatever we serve in our homes. Come in. It isn't as though meatloaf is highly desirable. . At least I haven't broached the issue of domesticated animals.

i think the reason i'm not so into how the food looks is because i got so used to asian food just looking like a hot mess yet taste so good. korean bibimbap is one of my favorite stuff to order at a korean restaurant and it's not the easiest to make look presentable since it's just mixed rice and veggies, etc..

my hatest is hands down oily dimsum. chinese is actually not high on my list but i have to admit that it is a top cuisine in the world.

it might gross other people out so i didn't post a pic but we have a delicacy called balut.

I love all food all the time omg. I just...want to eat everything. I try to order new foods all the time, never the same dish. And desserts...always have to have a dessert. But!! I eat small portions, to balance out the rich foods I usually partake in. Gotta stay lean,

Never impressed with big meals, Scorpions love to try out wide variety of food. They would prefer food with strong flavours like garlic, ginger, curry and cinnamon. Offer them something that makes them nostalgic. They are not so choosy about restaurant but if savour matches with what they eat at home, they will be glad.

I love restaurant food...I like eating out...home cooking is nice and all, but I prefer restaurant food.

BLASPHEMY!

I should also mention that I like to eat foods all together sometimes too. For example...a plate of chicken fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp, and some spring rolls. I'd like to eat some rice...then try some rice + shrimp, then eat a spring roll, try a bite of the spring roll with a fork of rice and a bite of shrimp, etc. etc.

I want the tastes to mingle. I'm getting hungry now...

LOL I'm like that, too. I go crazy with that sometimes. Like, when eating a soup with lots of different ingredients, I'll ask myself "Do you want those zucchini cubes next, or would a noodle be better now?" and I am very deliberate about choosing what the last bite will be.

Meanwhile, my husband always starts with the potatoes, finishes the potatoes, moves on to the meat, finishes that, and then ends with the vegetables. Always.

That really is gross because duck embryos look so human. Seeing them floating in soup looks like a crime scene, almost.

But how do they taste?

It's all a bit obviously 'signotypical'! lol But for Virgo, yes I do love vanilla and mint (mint teas all the way, mmm). That'll be for the digestion aide

I'm a health freak with food and have pretty strict eating habits, vegetarian bordering on vegan, try to keep my sugar and salt intake low and avoid dairy when poss. But I love to eat out with friends, so every now and then I have a binge period where I eat food with cheese or made from eggs or with high sugar content! Then I scold myself like a good Virgo does and refine my diet again by banning something I secretly love for a month! lol

While I was too young to remember if it had any immediate effects, I think it did help in the long run by strengthening my core, because my problems eventually went away as I grew older.

My paternal grandma is against anyone having chicken when they are having a cold. I think she said it makes you cough more or something.

And definitely no shrimp or any sort of seafood.

I vouch for the no-seafood rule. Shrimp made my throat feel even worse after I sneaked a few.

That is not true ):
Asian cusine doesn't always mean messy plating and what not. They can look pretty too~

Using Cantonese food as example.

Roasted pork

Fried Rice w/ Ham and Preserved Veggies

Soy Sauce Prawns

(Heavenly) Steamed Custard Buns

I just read that according to cannibals, human beings taste like pork. One cannibal word for people was, "Long pig."

How's that for a bump?

Wondering what you Newflakes eat.

Oh, I'll bite. ^^ What a way to bump the thread, haha.

I love food and especially foreign. Trying out this new cuisine and getting to know all of these new things is exciting. Jupiter in the 9th in Cancer. I also love going with my family. How's that for textbook astrology?

One thing I always make sure is to have a healthy breakfast. I need my fruit and yoghurt. Raw vegetables at dinner. Salads are always a good choice for me, especially at lunch. I like cooking too and just experimenting with different seasonings and sauces.

Desserts are my guilty pleasure. Hehe. Ice creams, cakes, I love it but I pretty much only have them when I eat out. Too often and my Cappy/Virgo planets put this annoying voice in the back of my head. I make sure not to go all out too often, but when I do, I surprise everyone with how much I can keep eating. (Leo sun!) Salty foods and snacks are delicious.

And I'd better not go somewhere when I'm hungry. Those restaurants and shops you pass on your way over are uh... distracting.

My sign is pretty accurate!

I do love value, that's why I love home-grown, organic produce and yummy, cheap health food like grated raw carrots, homemade yogurt, sunflower seeds.

My sun is in the 6th house

How about you? What do you eat?

Completely inaccurate for my Sun, Scorpio. I identify strongest with Capricorn. My sun is in the 10th house. Go figure. Maybe the article should've touched on houses too.
