Do you need to have more good Jupiter aspects to break this?IP: Logged |

Bump! ============================================ "I wasn't always this way, I used to be a very different person. I sometimes wonder why the people in my life never noticed the changes that, to me, are so obvious. I won't tell my parents, and I won't tell anyone who would tell them. Its not that I don't love them, its just I know that they wouldn't understand." -Anonymous IP: Logged |

HI I know two people with this aspect (I don't have this myself, thank god), and I'd say that the saturn wins. I say this because the two people seem to lean more to saturn and end up being negative about everything. At the start of a goal/project they are very positive then all down hill from there. What I hear from them in all aspects of life is: It's just too hard, this wont work, it hasn't been done before yadda yadda. If jupiter has alot of good aspects and the orb for the saturn/jupiter aspect is wide then, yes, it can overthrow this, but in my opinion, it would be very hard. I have read that this aspect is the aspect for very little creativity, and I can say in my personal experience, this is true also. This is all my own opinions/experience with this aspect with these two people and I'm sure there is exceptions. Sharon IP: Logged |

I think Jupiter ends up winning. Remember, in the mythology, Jupiter did win over Saturn and banished him... IP: Logged |

Liz Greene and Stephen Arroyo conducted some conference lectures on Jupiter/Saturn: http://www.amazon.com/Jupiter-Saturn-Conference-Lectures-Astrology/dp/0916360164/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334551350&sr=8-1 I haven't read it but imagine that neither would dominate. Either the native would swing back and forth between the polarities (depending on transits/progressions) or would project the more uncomfortably placed planet onto the outside world/another person, which commonly happens with oppositions.
