Well, for what it's worth, I married a petite model for fashion houses and retail catalogs. She has one magazine cover. That was 19 years ago. She also had minor roles in several Spike Lee films. Again, for whatever it's worth. This is her chart. She's on the inside. You will see a Leo Sun, heavy 3rd House placements in Virgo, a Neptune in 5th House and Jupiter in 10th House.

i hate cameras and really hate seeing photos of myself. i'm a very saturn infleunced person and it shows on my body and face. so far there is only one picture (from 1997) with me in it that i actually quite like but all the others i would happily destroy. i wasn't even cute as a kid lol i have a very weak venus and i just plain suck in that area.my personal belief for the key to a person looking great in photos comes down to VENUS, VENUS, VENUS! the more it stands out in the natal the better. all the people i know and celebritites who i perceive as possesing a beauty on film have usually had at tleast one of the following: libra placements (moon and venus in particualar)
strong venus in their charts
sun, moon or ascendant in venus decans anyone i don't know personally or dont know their bdates i immediately presume they have great venus aspects lol. who knows really...

Venus on or near the ascendant. That just screams "pretty." Angelina Jolie has that and she (and her leg) are pretty damn photogenic. She might not be AS good-looking in the flesh because she's gaunt - it's possible Saturn is on her ascendant too, at the least, it's close. One of my sisters has Venus on her ascendant and she's been gorgeous on and off camera since she was a baby. But lately she seems to look better in pictures. She has Moon in Libra and knows how to pose, so that compounds the Venus/Ascendant conjunction effect in photos.IP: Logged |

I'm Scorpio with Libra Rising.
I don't really think i'm pretty, but i believe am very photogenic.
I also have Jupiter in Leo in 10th house, but my venus is in Sagittarius(?) in 2nd house.IP: Logged |

I have Venus conjunct the ascendant and I take terrible pictures, maybe its my Saturn conjunct sun that makes me feel awkward smiling and such

Not sure about photogenic *however* I have noticed that people with a natal Venus-Pluto trine appear to be beautiful, in a classical sense, or at least they possess a magnetic charm.Anyone else support this from people they know? Johnny

I have Sag ASC, Venus and Mars in Libra 10 house and Neptune in my first house. So if you think any of those are solely responsible... you'd be wrong.When I tell someone that I don't take good pictures they think I'm lying... then they take a picture, look at it, get silent and never take my picture again. I can rock video though. =D That's a completely different story, it's not a still image like a photo, just don't freeze frame at any given moment. ------------------

Except for jewelry. Cuz I used to sell that online and it's a challenge to make the photograph reflect the full luster or sheen, translating 3D accurately into a 2D representation.IP: Logged |
