Doing both, in case Aries ruling the ninth house greatly influences me by my love of travel, and belief of a positive outcome in any given situation. I strongly beleive in deciding my own fate, and not the other way around. My astrological chart is just there to guide me along my chosen path... Sun in the ninth is almost synonymous with 9th house Aries, as it also allows me to expand my horizon by wanting to access the higher mind, whether that be through self knowledge, education or foreign travel...
I knew it! Sun in the 9th House isn’t equivalent to a Sagittarius Sun, as people keep saying. IP: Logged |

Old thread, but why not...I have a semi-stellium in the 9th... as close as my chart gets to a stellium anyway. Gemini is on the cusp. In the house I have Sun, Vesta and Chiron in Gemini, and Mercury and Mars in Cancer, the latter both tightly conjunct Midheaven. I am highly educated and took university courses in quite a broad spectrum of humanistic subjects... everything from Literary history to antropology to ancient Egyptian grammar. And I studied abroad. I'm endlessly curious about everything, the more foreign to me the better. I never did get quite comfortable with the stricture of academia though, I'm a bit too instinctual in the way I think... it's hard for me to do structured analysis, to conform my thoughts to a theoretical framework and to put them on paper. I'm too much of a homebody to do much travelling, but when I do I really enjoy seeing new places and cultures. I do get really homesick though. I've always been a very avid reader, in part because books have the wonderful ability to take me away to distant lands without me having to leave my home. These days I work as a librarian, and it feels like destiny! IP: Logged |

I only have my North Node in here conjuncting the MC. As I've grown older, I became much more interested in spiritual topics and philosophy. I feel it is my purpose to gain a higher spiritual awareness/perspective and carrying it out in what I set out to do in life.IP: Logged |

In mine, I have Pluto and the sun, with Jupiter in the 5th, so my sun and Jupiter are in each others' houses. Still not sure what that means exactly, but I've gathered that it's good?? The cusp is in Libra, making Venus its ruler which is in my 10th house and it makes aspects to my ascendant, the sun, the moon, Mercury, Jupiter, and Pluto.Reading all the appropriate interpretations, I can definitely say that they are probably the most accurate of any of my placements and aspects. I ADORE foreign languages. I can never learn enough (even though I am pretty lazy about it sometimes haha). Regardless, it's still a strong passion of mine. Spanish was one of my best classes in school, and I was pretty bummed that we were only allowed to take one foreign language. Not only that but the only other option was French, so I hated that we were limited (or rather I was limited). Re: law, the two times I've done jury duty were two of the best experiences of my life. No joke lol. I appreciated seeing the protocol and whatnot in action. Pluto, I think, made me like the "mystery" aspect of it. Did they or didn't they? Hmmmmmmm. I could go on and on with regards to my affinity for 9th house matters, but I don't like blathering about myself lol. IP: Logged |

Ruled by Sag! Black Moon Lilith and Juno, if I'm using whole charts. Only BML on the cusp if porphory.Ruler Jupiter is in the 5th/Leo. To me, higher learning and beliefs and philosophy inspire great amounts of creativity in me. If nothing else, they entertain me like crazy. IP: Logged |

9th house also in my experience reflects the attitude one has in learning about the greater world, its people and perspectives.Mars in 9th or Aries on the 9th house cusp may push someone to do the learning in a "real time" way. These people are bored by theory. So their idea of learning about the world could be through something like "The Amazing Race". Because of its active & involved nature. Saturn or Capricorn on 9th house cusp has none real interests invested in worldly affairs except those that may be business or commercially. They are least likely to travel for instance and are more interested in going to prestigious(old established) Universities than the new techno-online universities. Jup or Sag on the cusp of the cusp of the ninth house may have no real interest in going to varsity unless its to interrupt the lecturer or contradict what the lecturers says. These people may infact find that they are easily sidetracked by varsity life and not ending up finishing within the major they had originally intended because interests may expand far beyond and sometimes outside the corridoors of the classrooms.

I have Saturn / Neptune in the 9th house, Uranus is on the cusp of the 9th/8th house They are also apart of a t-square opposing Jupiter/ Chiron conjunction in the 3rd house, squaring my Sun / Mars / Mercury in the 6th house. So a lot of different energies going on and getting activated simultaneously! I’d say my 9th house experiences highlight my beliefs, it extends pretty deep considering I’m born mixed cultured n my mom being born in Hong Kong and raised in Ghana, Africa, we have “family” all over the world. While my fathers side are from Switzerland and Ireland they came to America and have had a rather close minded and traditional upbringing of cultures. I’ve grown up seeing racism and have seen both sides. I’ve had to travel since I was very young regularly, especially by 4-5 I was traveling by myself to see my dad every other weekend. They were short airplane flights, so an hr long, but I was still used to and am still used to short distant traveling to see my family. Usually between two states. I’m pretty philosphical and have been a really curious child, labeled as the “dreamer” in my family, I actually am given a hard time for being “too” philosphical and intense mentally, or I guess obsessive. Also have Pluto parallel my sun/mars/mercury which not to mention is retrograde, at 29 degrees Virgo In the 6th house and intercepted,so my mercury is certainly highlighted. I tend to go deepIn thought and conversation and enjoy researching. I guess my Saturn gives me a skeptical bend, and probably a bit of an inhibited, self doubting side too. Slight hint of responsibility tied to my travels as far as family goes. Uranus and Neptune I feel give it an unusual and unpredictable element, last minute travel plans, unexpected accidents and illnesses while traveling, having spiritual encounters while traveling- I love those!!, and also having an unusual approach to my life and I guess education. I always had a hard time fitting in at school. Just somehow manage to always be out of the loop and naturally very visual and artistic. I was held back for ADD in kindergarten and often had difficulties sitting still and focusing. I was often given extra tasks to do to keep me busy, like constructing various sceneries, like a farm with lots of animals and a city or zoo lol. Eventually a really kind teacher noticed I wasn’t unknowledgeable just bored I guess and put me in a gifted program. All throughout school I had difficulties with authority and fitting in. Even in community college, being on time and just the monotonous amount of papers and writing is just such a bore. It’s funny because when it comes to certain topics I love to learn thoroughly on it but not necessarily everything I guess. I’d say mental travel and dreams are very much apart of me and I’m constantly lost in thought or speculating some new idea. The biggest thing actually, is seeing how my beliefs actually effect my everyday life (6th house) and my habits. Neptune brings a big spiritual bend and I have a lot of rituals incorporated in my everyday life. Like breath work, meditation, my philosophies and the way I treat others, my health and being one in mind, body, spirit. IP: Logged |

Juno! Sag rules my 9th, and the ruler (Jupiter) is in the 5th in Leo. I tend to learn best by knowing how other people believe in life. If someone's belief set is unhealthy or blocked, I can usually clock it pretty quick. Typically it's what will determine whether I end up seeing someone as a potential partner -- not just romantically, but like, someone I want to know through life beyond the surface. Also high key fascinated by all things Sag. If I could marry those study topics... IP: Logged |

Nothing. I'm Taurus Asc. 9th House Empty. 9th Lord Saturn become Exalted in Libra my 5th House. And Conjunct 7th Lord Mars. I have no higher education, no brothers and sisters in law, no education in philosophy, not aware of prophecy, never went 100Km from my birth place so forget about foreigners, or foreign travel. I use to have intuition Power but guess I have lost it due to bad home environment. Never rode in aeroplane. No vacations but only stay at home if get free time. No good relationship with teachers. I guess I have no good aspect of 9th house in my life so far. ☹️------------------ My Chat : http://imgur.com/hCRDawD IP: Logged |

Saturn in Cancer. I don't trust gurus, and I'm iffy on religion. (It squares Jupiter and Pluto, and is inconjunct Neptune.) I don't get to travel, but my life has been messed up - if I'd been more competitive/motivated? Maybe I would have been able to. If I had my life sorted out, and hadn't dealt with certain things. I've only travelled when we've moved (between countries, or across this one), and for school. If we had a small vacation, it was a few days away somewhere, nothing fancy, or when dad wanted us to experience California as teenagers, instead of as babies (when we'd last lived there). Late degrees of Capricorn and early/middle degrees of Aquarius. I have Saturn, North node and MC(?) here. I also have asteroid child here. I read that that saturn in the 9th can make one a religion skeptic. In my case true. Grew up in a catholic christian environment, and I was just done by age 17. However I am all ace for astrology, feng shui, and law of attraction. Law of attreaction makes sense to me for Capricorn spiritualality since Capricorn is very goal orriented. 9th house is also higher education. Going to college was never my dream. I never put it on a pedestal. I always hoped I would get too famous that I wouldn't even need to graduate high school LOL. I felt like school crushed my natural curiously and creativity, and not being a morning person and partially introverted why would I want to sign for that?! I wanted to be on my own. Why would I want to live in a dorm and share a bathroom with 3 other bizzes? lol My parent never put any pressure on me to go to college. It took a minimum wage job and renting with people to give college a try by age 20. I actually for the most part enjoy it more than HS. It tries me at time, especially taking classes while working. I took breaks sometimes, but I always came back. Got an associate at age 26. Enjoyed just working for a few years after. Tried just having a simple life.....but my last job was just so bad, I had to get out of there. There were no other teacher assistant jobs with holiday breaks and summers off that paid more than what I was making. So I took it as a sign to get the bachelors and become the teacher. I did, still working on the bachelors now. I'll have my bachelors completed by the end of August and I'll be 30yrs old. I thought I'd mention asteroid child because it conjuncts my MC. I was destined to go to college for early childhood education and have a career in it. And last but not least travel. My parents did not take me to disney, to Europe, to Islands, or cruises like other people around me. I can't act like it was all bad though. The fact that I did go camping, and visit out of state relatives is more fortunate than some. I did feel travel was restricted and deprived of compared to other people...wondering why my life was like that and seeing Saturn in my 9th house gave me answers. I looked forward to my Saturn return for this reason. Travel began to improve in my early 20's. Family started to rent lake houses in the summer. It was all I had to look forward to some years. But it was better than my teens! Teens was my most vacation deprived decade. I started camping with small groups of friends and love interests. One love interest ended up being my fiance. I feel like he is my travel soul mate. We actually makes things happen. We have camped out at music festivals, visited his relatives, he went on my family trip. We did a bed and breakfast together last year. I get to travel to states I've never been to because of his job! But this post Saturn return has me confused. Now that I have the means to make traveling plans happen on my own...the corona virus makes traveling way too risky! Traving to pay respects to the deseased for two peopple I've lost recently has been postponed. I do not want to put myself at others at risk by flying. If I want to see my fiance I need to drive 14 hours to visit him. The most I've ever drove alone was just under four hours for me. So that is a huge jump out of my comfort zone so I could totally see Saturn doing that for me. But go figure traveling is still restricted for me! Maybe this will change after the the retrograde over the summer. I feel like I don't get the happy ending after round two of a planets visit in my houses. Anyways I am enjoying the break from Saturn on my personal planets. I will have my revisit in the fall. Then I will have some time to take the stick out of my arse. My Mercury Taurus will be next when Saturn is in Aqua 6 degrees. Then it's communication boot camp! IP: Logged |

Pisces Moon in 9th H. I don't believe in God, at least not the God that we are taught in schools. I believe in the universe and in humanity, I see astrology as a way humans found to understand the universe. I'm indifferent to travelling and learning about other cultures, religions etc. I'm fine if it happens but I'm also fine if it doesn't. I want to learn the languages that I like (they are a few) but I'm lazy about it, I already know 3 languages I completely forgot the fourth one. I realised too late that I loved maths and I was really good at it which is quite surprising considering how abstract and lost my mind can be with all that Neptune in my chart. Feelng confortable with foreigners is probably more due to my Uranus and Neptune opposite Sun and ASC than my Moon in 9th H. 9th H is an indifferent house imo. I wish I had Neptune and Uranus in this house. They would cause no harm.

I have saturn, ruler of 6th, 7th and 8th in 9th in pisces, lots of clinging to the old and my precious routine, i am afraiiiiid of change , i didnt go to university out of fear i didnt proceed with application to job related to foreign travel out of fear, i just dont like that type of BIG changes, they are scarry to meI am afraid i still have no idea how it will play out when it comes to marrige and 8th house related stuff but 7th and 8th are aquarius houses so uranus might , i hope, give me some flack And when it comes to religion i am traditional with a twist, i have so many questions and i am trying to understand the historical figures in the Bible and i find myself condeming their actions and not inderstanding them, but i TRUST God knows best - and as you can see i am kinda meddling with astrology whichhhh is kinda a no-no for my religion, so its definitively a weird way of dealing with all this IP: Logged |
