A Cadent house, the 9th House is often overlooked in Astrology. Unless we have luminaries there, we tend not to know much about the 9th House."The Ninth House is about higher learning. This house also rules religion, college, higher education, brothers and sisters in law, philosophy, prophecy, philanthropy, foreigners, foreign travel, foreign language, intuition, long distance journeys abroad, churches, airlines, vacations, international commerce, visions and teachers. It covers academic subjects, law, religion, publishing, foreign culture, sport and overseas travel. Other keywords include: distant travel, cultural learning, the journey along the path, the Ageless Wisdom and akashic records." I've posted on here about older Astrology texts pointing to Neptune's co-rulership of the 9th. What do you have in the 9th and how does it play out in your life? IP: Logged |

I have Saturn - Sun - r/Mercury in a loose conjunction (would say stellium but it's two signs and the orbs aren't really tight enough imo), in my 9th. Not really sure how it plays out, though. ------------------ Astrology Activism: The constant strive to not just learn the intricate details of Astrology but the desire to constantly find new ways to prove that it exists in a scientific manner. Do you mean house rulership, or planets in the 9th? Doing both, in case Aries ruling the ninth house greatly influences me by my love of travel, and belief of a positive outcome in any given situation. I strongly beleive in deciding my own fate, and not the other way around. My astrological chart is just there to guide me along my chosen path... Sun in the ninth is almost synonymous with 9th house Aries, as it also allows me to expand my horizon by wanting to access the higher mind, whether that be through self knowledge, education or foreign travel...

The house ruler would be the planet which rules the sign on your 9th house cusp. So if your 9th House is in Gemini, its ruler is Mercury. =) IP: Logged |

Sun and Mercury (Chart Ruler) in Aqua in the 9th.I think 9th house stuff is pretty obvious in my personality. I think Freebrainstorms is saying her 9th house is intercepted. It's either in Scorpio or Sag, look closer. With the Placidus house system you can have 2 houses in the same sign. IP: Logged |

Sun and Mercury in the 9th house in Scorpio.I love to learn, i`ve attended courses my whole life. I also think that it makes my Scorpio Sun conjunct Mercury more tolerant and open-minded than the "average" Scorpio. No offence to my Scorpio brothers and sisters, I love them dearly, my hubby, half of my family and many friend are also Scorpios. IP: Logged |

Neptune is the coruler of 9th?? I have it in 9th in Cap, and the house ruler is Jupiter - in Pisces! Jupiter is the most prominent planet in my chart, aspecting almost every planet, and, besides it being in Pisces, it's also in 12th house.I also have Uranus on the very cusp of 9th (I always thought it was in 8th, but now I don't think so anymore...). My Mercury is on the very cusp of 10th, so I don't really count it as a 9th house planet, I don't know...Anyways, I can say I'm very interested in all 9th house areas...Can you tell me more about the 9th & how these placements can affect me?? 9th Capricorn with Uranus placed there. (Depending on house system. Sometimes its in the late degrees of the 8th house. Sometimes its just in the 9th) Isn't Uranus where you rebel? I'm homeschooling, maybe that has something to do with it? lol. I wonder how this plays out! -- "To the world you may mean one person, but to one person you may mean the world." -AnonymousIP: Logged |

I have Aries (my moon) in the 9th house. Not sure exactly how it plays out in my life, but i do feel like I have a very strong, personal connection with God. I go through life with this ever present awareness of the ulterior motives behind everything knowing God has a hand in everything around me, though I am not a paranoid/fanatical religious person.I just have that feeling with me a lot.Sometimes i look up in the sky and kinda talk to God,sometimes i cry just thinking of God and the love i feel he sends me and the strong love i feel toward him.Plus i have the venus in scorpio placement, so my love is very strong.

I have an empty 9th house. With Scorpio on the cusp of my 8th and 9th houses. The ruler of my 9th (Pluto) is in my 8th at home in it's own planetary house position. How this plays out well. I'm very sexual. I like to dive deep into everything exotic and mystical. I like to travel and I'm very attracted to exotic people, even aliens. I've always been interested in ancient cultures and I've studied them extensively. I've traveled to many countries around the world. If I could I'd just spend my life traveling the universe. Spiritually and physically. It helps that I have Sagittarius on my Midheaven. Traveling and discovering new places could be considered an aphrodisiac in my opinion. Exotic people are delicious. Uranus and Neptune are in the 9th.Let's just say that religion and spirituality confuse me and I don't have a firm opinion on these matters. My faith is very fluctuating, at times I have it and at other times I'm just plain cynical. Higher education is hard.. I'm too erratic when it comes to studies. In my mind I like the idea of traveling but not physically.. I mainly "expand my horizons" mentally.

Sounds fantastic! I'd love to do the same. Jupiter in Aries in the 9H.

HEY that works for me! Exotic, mystical, and any kind of adventure! Traveling is a physical and kind of emotional need for me, there's nothing quite like exploring somewhere you've never been before - definitely a turn on. IP: Logged |

I knew it! Sun in the 9th House isn’t equivalent to a Sagittarius Sun, as people keep saying. IP: Logged |
