First time I heard that song and it got to that part it sent shivers down my spine. Mmmm.

Virgo (Projecting her flaws on someone else)

I will infect you all with my favorite music... and not expect you to enjoy it or listen.

This song struck me as very Aquarius when I first heard it, but was written by a Gemini and Taurus with no Aqua influences.

I tend to love songs written by people whose birthdays are close to mine: Michael Stipe of REM (Jan 4), Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys (Jan 6), Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd (Jan 6), David Bowie (Jan 8th.)

I really love the song "Try Not to Breathe" by REM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jpptsy2qbU

And "Half a World Away" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLMnpB51vVM&feature=related

Very (second decan) Capricorn to me.

* Edited: Thank you

They Might Be Giants are fantastic. One of my favorite lyrics of all time: "Ana Ng and I are getting old, but we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence."

Songs that are Aquarius:

Metric - Help, I'm Alive - sung and written by Emily Haines who is an Aquarius sun/Aquarius moon:
"Help I'm alive my heart keeps beating like a hammer/Hard to be soft/Tough to be tender,"
"My regrets are few/If my life is mine/What shouldn't I do?"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtA7YIFapnY

Also, "Innocent" by Our Lady Peace - written by Aquarius sun/Venus Raine Maida:
"We are/We are all innocent/We are all innocent/We are/We are" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1Z89zW-8sY&ob=av2e

"Adia" by first-decan Aquarius Sarah McLachlan:
"'Cause we are born innocent/Believe me Adia/We are still innocent" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJC4USrkLeI&ob=av2e

Also, Garth Brooks, who is an Aquarius sun/Mercury/Venus/Mars/Jupiter's "The Thunder Rolls"
"The thunder rolls and the lightning strikes/Another love runs cold on a sleepless night..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxsvlPwKN20

"Electric Feel" written by Aquarius Andrew VanWyngarden of the band MGMT:
"All along the eastern shore/Put your circuits in the sea/This is what the world is for/Making electricity..."
"With the voltage running through her skin"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmZexg8sxyk&ob=av3e

"Revolution" written by Aquarius Bob Marley:
"We got lightning (lightning), thunder (thunder),
brimstone (brimstone) and fire - fire (fire, fire)...

This song was written by first-decan Aquarian Kid Cudi and he collaborated with fellow Aquarius Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT on it, making it the most Aquarian song to hit the charts in a long, long time:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z_Ys3BO_4M

The video is EXTREMELY Aquarian!

More songs that are Aquarius:

"One Love" by Aquarius Bob Marley:
"One love/one heart/Let's get together and feel alright" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp-6g_CdpJs

"Drive" written by Aquarius sun/Mercury Brandon Boyd:
"Lately I'm beginning to find that when I drive myself my light is found,"
"So if I decide to waiver my chance/To be one of the hive/Will I choose water over wine/And hold my own and drive?"

(DJ Chris Kilmore on the turntables is also an Aquarius).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgT9zGkiLig&ob=av2e

Anytime you hear themes of rebellion or universal innocence, you can assume there is an Aquarius involved; likewise if the song mentions thunder, lightning or electricity (falls under the domain of Aquarius). Also, if the video has people of many different races in it or the song itself is about humanity coming together there is probably an Aquarius at the helm. Lots of people of many different signs quietly believe in this but Aquarians will really hit you over the head with it.

Songs that are Pisces:

"Angel" by Pisces Robin Thicke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wHjSvyBq5U

"Always" by Pisces Bon Jovi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BMwcO6_hyA&ob=av2e
"I will love you baby/Always"

"Said I Loved You (But I Lied)" by Pisces Michael Bolton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv5vMJKBAbo&ob=av2e
"Said I loved you but I was wrong/'Cause love could never, ever feel this strong"

"Baby" by Pisces Justin Bieber: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kffacxfA7G4&ob=av2e
"I was like baby, oooh/Thought you'd always be mine"

"She Will Be Loved" by Maroon 5 (lead singer Adam Levine is a Pisces and he wrote this song): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIjVuRTm-dc&ob=av2n

Anytime a man sings with unabashed sensitivity or sounds helplessly in love you can assume that the man behind the song is a Pisces. Promises of forever, "always," etc.

Edit: To Aquacheeka regarding Aquarius songs~

Great examples! I love a lot of those songs already (maybe it's my Mercury Aquarius.)

I'm thinking of the song "Lightning Crashes" by Live...but the songwriter for that one is Cancer, and fittingly it's about a mother giving birth to a stillborn baby.

Two Sagittarius music videos:

Britney Spears' "Radar" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PctD-8y0FRg&ob=av2e,

Blue Rodeo's "Bulletproof": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUB9F0VCigI

Both Spears and Blue Rodeo lead singer/songwriter Jim Cuddy are Sagittarians; both videos feature horses running free.

The Blue Rodeo song in particular is painfully and almost cringingly honest.

Oh I love that song I am going to try and think of songs for other signs. The problem is that so many of the charts get dominated by the same signs over and over again

I noticed that the two biggest dance artists in the world currently, Deadmau5 and Skrillex, are both Capricorns.

Skrillex is currently dating fellow Capricorn Ellie Goulding. It's hip to be a Cappy right now

"Let's Get Loud" by Leo Jennifer Lopez: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q91hydQRGyM&ob=av2n

"Vogue" by Leo Madonna: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuJQSAiODqI&ob=av2e
"Strike a pose..."

I believe the way that Leo Whitney Houston sang was extremely Leo... she just belted the tunes right out!

No one has ever managed to eclipse her singing the national anthem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jeUINzHK9o, not before, not since.

Oh I have no idea who those people are! I'll check when I get some time.

Thinking of the William and Catherine thread here...this is supposedly "their song": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c8imenLWsg

That seems like "Capricorn dance music" to me, although I can't find any birthdays for the group.

Reminds me of Capricorn Alex Turner's (Arctic Monkeys) "I Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2c8imenLWsg

Theme: blunt come-ons and rough dancing.

They're hipsters! You've never heard of Skrillex, really? He is dominating the charts the whole world over. I have literally never seen something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSeNSzJ2-Jw&ob=av3e 79 million views for a song with no video!
