Topic: songs that remind you of a certain sign

I can personally relate to almost all of fellow aquarian Garth Brooks songs, especially friends in lower places, this song just decribes Aquarius so perfectly,my friends even laugh and say this song reminds them of me. Does anybody else ever hear songs that remind you of a certain sign or placement, or is there a song you just totally relate to and its almost as if they were singing about you or your sign?IP: Logged |

All the time! I relate many many things to the music I listen to. It's not possible for all of songs I listen to, but a good chunk of them I can. The difficulty is many songs aren't "pure" for just one sign, planet, or aspect. It's often a combination of all three because there is usually a lot of detail within.Further it can be difficult because there are many more ways then one for a sign to manifest, and a song will often only take a snapshot of just one side.

Haha. First I have seen that. To me that struck me as a 50/50 combo of aries and scorpio. Another way of putting it is, I recognize the scorpio in that, but it's not a form I can relate to, or that I am like.
I agree it is hard to find a song that can describe purely one sign,but the song I mentioned is just the essence of Aquarius, if you have heard or if you go and listen to it now, I think you will see what I mean.IP: Logged |

Here's just three examples, that are as "pure" to one sign without needing to factor in planet or aspects with it. Not perfect, but pretty close to it. Scorpio: Björk - Cocoon (I STRONGLY relate to this one) Aquarius: Fever Ray - Seven Gemini: Róisín Murphy - Let Me Know ------------------

I can definitely see where you're coming from, but the fact for me is I really don't like country music at all. A lot of it is very based in the lyrics for it's meaning. For me, lyrics are almost no factor so it does little to nothing. It's all about the sound. Nevertheless, I do agree with you. ------------------

Only thing that comes to mind for me is the 30 Seconds to Mars song named "Capricorn" which doesn't seem to be about a capricorn...or maybe that's just me. 0.oI've always thought that coldplay's lead singer (Chris Martin) wrote songs exactly how I imagined a Pisces to write songs, though. =). I getcha, for me most of the time its the lyrics that make it for me, maybe its my moon in the third, however there are certain songs or bands that I listen to for the sound, I really like certain guitar rifts and piano and sax. But the reason I picked that song for aqua was that I identify with the lyrics so strongly, its also even more special being that Garth brooks is also heavy in aqua energy.
