quote:
Cancer Sun/Venus in Taurus Ve-ry in-te-res-ting, this guy. When he finds his mermaid, he’ll dive into rocky waters and give up everything to go live with her under the sea. Daryl Hannah and Tom Hanks — Splash. He longs for peace, tranquility, real love. It’s a crapshoot with fixed dice, though. Destiny with an ironic sense of humor — because he knows what he wants, but he’s not good at recognizing it or choosing right. If fate gives him a break, and he catches a woman he respects and adores, he’ll never leave. He’ll cling like a barnacle to a sunken ship; like Saran Wrap to a hunk of cheese; like a wet T-shirt to barely legal breasts in Girls Gone Wild. If he marries the wrong one, though, he’ll keep trading up, uplike you’d do with an automobile. He’ll keep the car and go to all the dealerships looking for something faster and shinier. (He’ll never get rid of the old car first. He’s too practical and he needsit for safety measures, this guy. How else will he get to and from work?) When he finds the right car, he’ll do the trade-in and expect a good investment. Speaking of moola, a Cancer/Taurus combination will want luxurious, beautiful things. He’sa bit of a low-key show-off: He won’t brag abouthis new Porsche, but he’ll leave it in the drivewayevery day and polish it, so that everyone can seehow cool and successful he is. Ask him about it.(That way he doesn’t have to let on to how freakin’ insecure about his status he is.) This guy analyzes the human mind and implements the psychology of it even in his work. He’s able to blaze new trails in whatever type of business he’s involved in. Actually, his real victory will come when he combines creativity with his job. Then he’s unstoppable with Greased-Lightning motif to boot. His flair for the dramatic and over-the-top flair definitely works in his favor. Sometimes he seems like an incredible cynic — the way hemocks and judges things and people around him. In reality, it’s just his armored truck protecting the loot inside. He’s susceptible. Touchy. Perhaps gives the impression of being impervious to cat-calls and comments, but in truth, he’s as thin-skinned as a Pinot Noir grape at harvest. Boyfriend potential rating: High if good fortune is smilingupon him and you. If he gets it right the first time, you have yourself a great husband: one who’s odd, a bit neurotic, but will cater to your every whim. Low if you rely on him too much or suppress his childlike fascination for the world. He’ll be sneaky, sneaky, and try pulling the wool over your eyes. Using 100 percent polyester. Not saying he’s good at it.
Ummm, OK. If I take out the "yikes" parts. LOL. IP: Logged |

Right to a T.
libra sun, venus "Yeah, this guy’s intense. Hot. Masculine. Yet candy-heart prettyboy, too. A metrosexual. Hey, if he tells you to wear the Gucci in-stead of the Prada, do it. It’ll probably look better, hon. You’re probably jealous of his eyelashes. Stop complimentinghim on them. He’ll work harder. In fact, it’s not just that this guy is pretty. He’s also got a thingfor young girls. Not in the sordid, icky underage Catholic priest sortof way. Just much younger than he is, in a plaid-skirt-and-knee-socks way. Or—in a switched-gender thing—Cher way. Because he senses he cancontrol them. And that’s important to him. Ormaybe he just wants a virgin because she can’tcompare how (awful?) he is in bed with others. But, on the other hand, he can go the opposite di-rection and fall in love with: Granny. Yup. A woman way older thanhim who’s gonna whip his effeminate butt into shape.Oh, okay, he’s also a romantic, romantic soul, so he’s not thatbad. Poetry. Sunsets. Sunrises. Rainbows. Courting, to him, is sec-ond nature, so just get out that Regency romance book you’ve been hiding behind War and Peace and be the heroine. Throw down your hair and let him climb up it. He’s a little flaky but kinda sweet, and you like it. Dontcha? Aww. Have fun. If you can stand all the flirting with others hemanages to fit into a day, you’ve got it made. He’s faithful, though. It’s only his eyes that wander. It can be kind of annoying, though, when he’s checking out your eighteen-year-old cousin. Or yourgreat-great-aunt.boyfriend potential rating: Very, very high if you’re a girly-girlor a femme fatale who can snap her fingers in z formation. Heneeds to respect you, but this guy is gold; he’s happiest in a solid relationship. You’ll just have to deal with all his neuroses. Low if you like guys with balls who don’t need to captivate the world just to feel good about themselves. Note to a small portion of Libra/Li-bra men: Enough with the mysterious, quiet thing; childhood fantasies, and weird age ranges. We’ve got you figured out."Libra "Here’s the thing. Status is so important to this guy, he’s bound to notice what designer clothing or expensive watch you have on; who you know; what you represent; who your friends are; whatyour position in society is and how it’ll make him look. Libra is very conscious of the way other peo-ple see him[b]" "But he’ll likely follow you to the ends of the earth once thering-around-the-collar is on his finger. Libra takes commitment seriously. It’s like the guy who’s dragged to the opera and is suffering through it—but he’s in the first row so he’s guilted into staying" I lost my Cappy. He was the best. "Be forewarned. Like a really bad kitchen pan, everything sticks with this guy. He’ll remember if you’ve done something bad. It’ll stay in his head, like grease after cooking sausages. And it’ll [b]take him a long time to forgive and forget. " "If he catches you—or sees a truly scary neurotic side, it’s over for good." I told him he should die and that I could never be his friend ever again, but in an ultra nasty way. Imagine a LIBRA telling someone to die. I was so hurt. Now, if I'm sad, I cut off communication. I ruined any chance of an "im sorry" and just blew a gust of wind for myself.
capricorn with venus sagittarius: "Perfect if you’re a water sign(Scorpio, Cancer, or Pisces), or if you’re prone to saying things like “My man. Look how handsome he is”; cooing in a voice that would make the rest of us utterly revolted and want to throw up all over you." I would've done that.... *sigh* lol

I just think this is too generic and a lot of what is says is easily applicable to anyone. I skimmed over what the author wrote about each of my ex's, and it's just not overwhelmingly accurate. A lot is missing from the picture. picking and choosing celebrities who seem similar and have the same venus/sun sign is not enough evidence to support the author's theory. Also, I don't understand how someone's Venus and Sun sign determine whether or not someone will be a good boyfriend or husband for anyone?? Synastry doesn't matter? Yeah, okay. Plus, the section labeled future "Mrs. Sun Sign" or whatever I found sexist and marriage-centeric, and as I am not it just annoyed me and spurred me to dislike the book even more. IP: Logged |

Haha glad u liked it! I may have to ban this book tho when i rise to power. Still needs some deeper astro + personal experience tho.. Like that high potential bf Taurus sun, Venus in Aries. My uncle has that and it's true he likes women with money and is romantic but he'll also finish it all and dish out marlon Brando streetcar named desire beatings once in awhile if u can't buy him his giant ceramic panther on a zebra skin rug. Not joking! Plus what Betty sed was true he preyed on the ones with low self esteem or the ones that were hooked in by looks.

Lol, I'm sure you're just being modest. I guess I am kinda lazy too, for an Aries. I'm second decan myself. What degree is your Venus anyway? Wonder if it's close to mine. I dated a Tau Venus Gemini conj my Venus once - very hedonistic if I can say so quote: Still needs some deeper astro + personal experience tho..
I think it's true even for females. My mother is Tau Sun/Tau Venus and we call her "Hitler". It doesn't help she has both luminaries hard aspect Pluto. I'm the only one she actually respects from the family and the one she comes to for advice, though I'm the youngest. Smashed my father's ego like mashed potatoes. Dangerous combo, methinks. Oh noez lol! And you'd think Taurus with Venus in Taurus wud b such a sweetie pie! They missed out that some of those dictators actually have cap Jupiter, which trines the sun and Venus. I have that too actually. The list of sun in Taurus, cap Jupiter goes abit like.. Hitler Hussein Marx Hirohito (emperor of japan) Pol pot (Cambodia) Alexander II of Russia Leopold II holy roman emperor Oh and bono of u2 lol! Saddam, pol pot, and Leopold II do not have Venus in Taurus. I also thot it was my sun mars opposition that did the stampede. " If the aspect is found in fixed signs, the natives can be very hard-headed and willful. " http://cafeastrology.com/natal/sunoppositionmars.html "Even in the closest relationships, you don’t mind arguing and fighting; it makes you feel alive. As difficult as it may be for your partners, for you the road to intimacy is paved with quarrels. You’re not one to fear that a relationship is over just because you’ve had an argument — far from it! You enjoy the fight, but not nearly as much as you enjoy kissing and making up. And once the fight is over, it’s over. You don’t drag through the same territory again and again." Sweety pies?! Lolz. Nay! I, for one, am not fooled. Sure, there are soft spots. Even Mommy has her sentimental side, it's how she lures her pray lol. Come to think of it, she's Scorpio Mars too! Tau Jupiter, though. Very, very ambitious woman, her. Manipulative as hell too. I never understood why she married a poor bloke Aqua Sun Pisces Mars like my dad, lost in his own little world and pretty ambition-less. She was the most successful in her family, but could only rise so far, so she had me to carry her unfulfilled destiny to completion... Luckily, she didn't have world domination in her plans - or I'm yet unaware. Cap Jup? You an '84-er? Hmmmm. Interesting. Venus-Mars dw, though the conjunction is out of sign and wide-ish, but the oppo stands. Perhaps it is time to tiptoe my way out of this thread lolz. While I still can. IP: Logged |

I notice some of you were talking about Venus in Taurus.I know it sounds generic, but the thing with Taurus sun and Taurus/Venus is they can be "Tenacious" defenders of an idea or a fixed view, not willing to give it up, sometimes it can be good thing sometimes it can be a bad thing. I gather it depends on how there life was prior to becoming an adult. The quote from the movie Tyson (1995) about the somewhat well known Taurus Boxer Joe Louis might clarify what I mean. George C. Scott(as Cus D'Amato): "Joe Louis may have been quiet on the outside, but on the inside, he was pure rage, He was a negro in a white mans world and he hated it, up and down the street, 24hrs a day". I think that says it all, of course they also have big hearts that are equally as tenacious. Thanks for the upload, Ironically I actually have heard all of the celebrity names of all the other Gemini Sun and Venus Taurus on the list. I didn't think I would have anything in common with Johnny Depp or Frank Loyd Wright. I can tell they've either done extremely well in life and are vary giving to society or done extremely poorly and have been resentfully of society. hmm.. don't know were I fit I've had both so far. --------------------------------------- Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun, 5th House Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini Venus In Taurus IP: Logged |

Lol, no, quite the opposite. She was stunningly beautiful, brunette with big blue eyes, looking sort of like a Russian. And she was a Taurus . She had lots of men wooing her, with very nice social standings. Maybe I am a sappy romantic, but I think she chose my father because of love. She denies it, ofc, but she married him in like a month after they met... quote: Originally posted by sand: Yes 84. U wud be year or two up I guess from ur Saturn return thread. Yes elephant memory. Thank you soooo much Sand. Aquarius Sun, Pisces Venus: Not your average Joe Bear. (Hey, Boo, Boo!) This guy, besides hav-ing a true genius, creative side, knows how to get people to workfor him, not against him. He’s a manager. A contact guy. A niceguy. People love ’im. (Even if he goes the sad wayof being a jerk, he still manages to earn everyone’srespect and they eventually wind up doing his bid-ding.) He can go the way of saint, too, when he’s inlove. Especially when his friends don’t need himat the moment.Right. Here’s the thing. This guy is a truefriend. To many. I mean, too many. If he’s a rarebreed of Aquarius/Pisces, and doesn’t have fansclamoring at the door, you’ve found yourself a keeper. But hey, there are worse things. Of all the Aquarius men, this guy’s most likely to settle downearly. Plus, he’s a faithful sort.See? That’s not so bad. He’s also interested in the world, at large. Has high standards and interesting political ideals. He likes to go against the grain, yetalways “gets” what’s important in life. (And lovesto be admired for his generous spirit, thoughdoesn’t like to brag about it.) He wants his actionsto speak louder than his words, yet doesn’t lack for the appropriate words—ever. Does he make a good potential? Well. If hecan control his finances (they tend to slip awayfrom him like a one-night stand) and you can putup with all his shenanigans with work buddies(who he calls friends), then yes. He’s a good catch and a home run. Nice! And a breath of relief.
