I just wanted to say I love the hell out of you people. As a Sagittarius, all my most enjoyable and eventful relationships have been with Aquarians. I think a lot of the other signs get a lot of squish'n on this forum and now it's time to shower some well deserved love on Aquarius. So here is your chance Non-Aquarians (or Aquarians with a healthy Leonine influence). Tell us what you love about Aquarius and why. ------------------ As for me, I love Aquarius because: They're beautiful - their energy is like a cross between an old time movie star and an angelic/alien being. They are especially dreamy when they zone off. They're weird - They are some of the only people I know who will enjoy a picnic lunch, people watching with you, in the central planter of your local mall, and finish the evening in a graveyard, attempting to ride a unicycle. They make up their own funny - My ex used to write our weird inside jokes in a pocket-sized book. I found it several years later and laughed my a$$ off at how completely un-funny they would be to outside eyes. They're brilliant - Aquarians are often like icebergs... cold and plotting to sink ships?.... No..... As things get hot, they reduce in size and destroy small islands?..... No ..... Their imagination and capacity for comprehending a thing, is so much more vast than what they are able to make apparent. Don't believe me? Invite an Aquarius to write a story with you, where you write a couple of sentences and then they do the same. When you get to the part where an 8 year old witch is flaying magical sigils into the skin of her sexual sacrifice victim; hoping to resurrect the soul of her cat, and place it in the body of a giant wheelchair bound goldfish name Samson... you can stop. They will do anything to make you happy - if you are interesting... and sometimes if you're not... but you could at least WORK on being interesting... Aquarius can't be expected to always be so brilliant. * They can be trusted - Hand an Aquarian your heart or a baby penguin... they will pet both (an possibly attempt to feed both a fish). They make their own rules - Aquarius is imagination incarnate. The person who wrote "Row Row Row Your Boat" was probably an Aquarian (him and the walrus who lost his bucket).
They are kinky - If only because the idea of regular dumb sex seems a bit messy, awkward, and boring. Why not have sex in a library on a pile of books, or while reading books, (or with a book)? Footnotes: * Aquarius can always be expected to be brilliant, but would it kill you to at least make an effort to be more interesting?....Just say'n.

Aquas are my favorite friends! They are so brilliant and unexpected! I'm also never attracted to Aqua men which makes our friendships GREAT!

I love Aquarians because they are kind, generous and sympathetic.

Them being my opposite sign, I think Aquarius men are hooooot, but they've always been out of my social circle as far as upbringing and culture and socioeconomic stuff goes. So I admire them from afar. The ones I've known were miles ahead of their peers as far as their ideas go, and multi-talented and just generally well-liked by everyone. That's enough to make this egotistical leo jealous, lol. My first boyfriend ever was a Februrary Aquarius and his morbid sense of humor was off thee chain. He was one of the nicest fellows I dated. Enough about me, Aquarians are generally pretty awesome. I have met the crappier ones but there are crappy people in every sign. I wish I had more to say about Aquarius girls, but I hardly know of any. ): I usually run along with fire sign women, I only know one Aquarius girl and she's a sweetheart and cool, but we're not buddy-close.

Aquarians have the most fascinating conversations. Im also a Sag and have Venus in the 11th. I usually get along great with Aquarians because they are visionary and himanitarians and very intelligent. Aquarians usually welcome my chattiness and throw out the best ideas and topics. I second this! And I do appreciate Aquarian's recognition for fairness. They're always portrayed as these kooky scientists but really Aquarius' are very people-pleasing folk. They're similar to Sagittarians with their bleeding heart syndrome.

I LOVE AQUARIANS!! they are the one sign that i can say EVERY SINGLE ONE of them get my way of thinking and my humor. Its so refreashing to be my sometimes dorky self and they totally are the same way!!! I love te sign of Aquarius....------------------

I love Aquarius because having the Sun in the sign of its Detriment keeps the ego from going into overdrive and thus they don't try to impress. They do what reason and logic dictate, no matter what irrational people will say/think/do.IP: Logged |

As an Aquarius (in the 12th house, hence my username), it's nice to read these comments. Speaking for myself, let me fill non-Aquarians in a little more on what makes an Aquarius tick.--we're said to be concerned more with ideas than people. I'd amend that to say I prefer people with ideas (willing to share them). --we're said to be humanitarians, but deal with humanity as an abstract. Consider this...as a friend of mine pointed out, the human mind can comprehend people on an individual level up to roughly 2,000 people. Beyond that, it becomes "the public." So, humanity would indeed be an abstract. We're not kidding ourselves (not that non-Aquarians are kidding themselves). --we Aquarians are always considered super-friendly. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but that's our brighter side. Aquarius is known for playing "devil's advocate." Not that we (or I should say "I") do so with malicious intent, but being nothing but sunshine gets old after a while, if not sooner.  --we're said to be better friends than partners. Perhaps some are, but I'm always ready for a relationship, and I like intimacy. It just seems some women get nervous, even scared, when they signal to me they're ready for intimacy, and as I try to oblige, they back away. Perhaps these women saw such intimacy as a game. I prefer something more legit. I do appreciate reading about all the ways people enjoy Aquarians. It's refreshing. Thanks and take care.

I'm thankful I have met so many Aquas in my life to feel alive. And am thankful that my mama gave birth to me at that certain time that made my ASC falls in Aqua.In my opinion it's the best sign. For all the Aquas out there reading this ... you are the best ! and I love you

Also a twelfth house aqua sun, i %100 agree with everything you said, especially the part about intimacy,i also am not scared of intimacy as they say us aquas are,i have learned to be distant by neccesity ,because most women want the distant and aloof guy.IP: Logged |

Not sure if it'll help or not, but I and a handful of other women I know would largely disagree with the distant and aloof thing. I am extremely turned off by "distance" but then again my chart is weak in air.
On the other hand, I feel like that's not exclusive to just women. I do not know many guys who want to deal with a woman who wants to be "intimate". In an emotional or non-sexual way anywho. I feel like people are attracted to mysterious and distant people in general. IP: Logged |
