I've just discovered that I have Uranus in my 7th house, and being new to all this I google what it means and it got me wondering now if I'd ever truly be in a happy relationship.
I got married at 26 and it lasted for 5 years. Ended badly. I still have issues & trauma that I'm working on. But reading the affect of Uranus here got me down as really my love life has been disastrous in the past.

What do you think about this placement?

Well, I've read that planets in the Seventh house can describe your relationships as well as what you seek in others, if that's of any relevance/consolation.

Is Uranus making aspects to other planets in your chart? That's the real issue.

Anyway, Uranus in natal 7th doesn't necessarily means you're doomed when it comes to marriage. It might mean that you will marry someone from a different culture, or race, or ethnicity, or there might be a wide age difference, or you might have an unconventional marriage...

I also have this.. It's a divorce aspect with your marriage, which has already played out.. But of course the same placement could mean different things..
I'm attracted to foreign men.. The not normal relationship type of thing...
I think the 9th house shows the 2nd spouse but not sure.. Thats what I heard..

U just need a bit more space than other people... I find a big attraction to aqua mars...

I'll see if I can figure that question out if Uranus making aspects to other planets on my chart. Excuse my newbieness in all this

My first husband is from a different culture. I'm Asian he's Caucasian. The age different...woaa so true! He's 13 years older than me but when we got together the age differences didn't cause any problem.

Thanks Belage!

Lioness, me too. I'm back in my home country now and I just can't bring myself to date local guys, I know it sounds bad but it's been like this since I was much younger.

I've heard of the 9th house showing the second marriage too but I haven't really take a look at it.

My husband has a 7th House Uranus and we're quite happy

...but I'm also kind of a weirdo with an Aqua Moon and 1st House Uranus. Maybe, as others have said, it just alludes to "your" type of relationship or partner.

My partner has Uranus in the 8th. When he keeps a relationship at the 7th House level, it works well enough. It's when he merges resources with someone that the instability pops up. So the only way he can have a stable relationship past the 7th House contractual stage is to have a non-traditional, "Uranian" arrangement of having separate residences, finances, etc. Luckily for him, I have Juno in Aquarius and prefer this. So stability for Uranus in the 7th is possible within a relationship that accommodates a non-traditional arrangement that supports individuality.

My Uranus is in the 7th House. I've been married 19 years and going really strong. Stop listening to the naysayers. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Let the stereotypes get to you and you will end up fitting the stereotype.

To the stereotypes, I point my middle finger.

Sometimes, when I go to the dermatologist, I get lectured about having dry skin. But then I tell the dermatologist, "Hey doctor, there's a huge zit on your nose.". Hope you catch my drift.

My best wishes. Have a nice day.

Thanks Mockingbird, that's comforting to know that there are some 'successful' couple

Very interesting! Thank you for sharing this Capriquarius! So glad to know it works out for you and your man. The non-traditional may also mean - for my case - is I've always been attracted to men not from my country and yes, that had caused some arguments among people that I know of. My family already understands and knows too well that I just could never follow the 'normal-traditional' way of marriages are being perceived here in my culture so that might be it too.

YoursTrulyAlways, I LOVE your attitude! You rock!

The more I look and read other people experiences here the more I think it can be different things really not one-size-fits-all thing. And congrats on going strong for 19 years! WOW I truly admire that.

Thank you!

Uranus in 7th means you attract Uranian types. They can be wacky but steadfast in their own way. They also might want space or might suggest a non traditional relationship. Or you start relationships quickly and when they end, your recovery time is short (that's how it plays out for me, anyway).

I've been told many times that Uranus in 7th is unstable and divorce prone. I find that a bunch of hooey, but that's just my opinion.

It surely is interesting to learn that there are so many more aspects to this just like the other part of astrology. I used to have a short recovery times before but my divorce was the hardest...still have some healing to do from inside and it's been 2 years but I am moving on

Thank you!

I'd say Uranus in the 7th indicates the native wants a partner who is eccentric,non-conventional, who has high ideals,is extremely intelligent, electric , inspired and inspiring. In MorningDew's chart it's part of an excellent grand trine in water that includes mercury in pisces in the 12th- deep intuitive communication, merging of minds, and jupter in cancer in the 4th- good luck and abundance through the kind of genuine nurturing, that makes a house a home. Very good aspects for emotional relationships. W/ Saturn in virgo in the 5th there are lessons in being discerning about what really serves a creative path that feeds the real growth potential of the conj. N Node

It could mean you'll just have a relationship that is unorthodox in some way - age difference, etc.

I have Uranus in the 7th. What the above posters said is true, but I like giving practical meanings to these kind of things. Your love life isn't doomed. I have Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in the 7th. I have interesting experiences and stories from my love life, to say the least. Having Uranus in the 7th means you will probably attract interesting people who are highly intelligent. I'm pretty normal but these types of people still find their way into my life. Or my relationships begin randomly (and I mean randomly).

I have uranus and neptune in 7th also. Trying to look up info on these two aspects suck because so many people are negative about it

I agree with everyone else that this doesn't make you doomed in love or marriage though.

Do you have any planets in your 5th House? How is your Venus aspected?!
