Hello everyone, I have a question. I have a Fire Void. I do have some air like my Venus in Gem and Mars in Aqua, but I'm mostly earth and water. I'm wondering if many aspects to Mars would compensate for my fire void? And aspects to my Sun as well?
I have Mars Conjunct Midheaven
Moon Square Mars
Mercury Square Mars
Mars Square Pluto
Mars Square Jupiter
Venus Trine Mars
Sun Square Mars

Do you lack enthusiasm or drive? I notice that with Fire Voids. Any who, I'd imagine that if your Mars and, to a lesser extent, your Sun are actively aspected and well placed, then maybe it can help to compensate (especially if you have a Sun-Mars aspect.) BUT! I'm not really an expert, so if someone else has a better opinion, choose them over me.  IP: Logged |

All I know is - They hate Aries people with a passion one would not expect from a fireless person, ironically.... (Although, if their Sun is in Air - there is *hope* - ever so slight.. but it's there!). Since I have an Aries Sun, I cary garlic around the fireless folk.. just in case I'm attacked, or 'back-stabbed', as that is their more preferred style IP: Logged |

I think that having such an active Mars in your chart would definitely make you more "firey", even though you have a Fire void. Do you have planets in Fire houses, ie 1st, 5th, 9th? That would probably help too.
@ Odette, I don't really know any Aries that well but I'm definitely not allergic to you guys! And hey, we're not (all) backstabbers

Yes. I think RedScorp is right! Having lots of aspects to an earth planet - Saturn/Venus or Mercury - could give you earthy traits. Also, having planets in earth sign houses counts! IP: Logged |

Really?! LOL I'm so surprised you should say that. I have no fire except for my North Node  In Placidus my Moon is in the 5th though, and Uranus & Neptune are in the 9th but they're generational planets anyway so I don't think it counts that much. IP: Logged |

Odette -Nope! Gem rising here, ruler in Scorp conjunct the Sun though!
I can appear quite dynamic but when I'm in more familiar surroundings I am quite withdrawn and quiet, and that usually frustrates the more firey types, you guys are always on the go!

I know that there are options for compensation - having planets in fire houses(H1,5,9) or Sun/Mars aspects,prominent Mars,etc.

Yeah it doesn't exactly work in my favor, you know, having a fire void. Fire, screams to me extroversion. I am very introverted.
I can have my moments of enthusiasm and fun but I am usually very to my self.
I think it gives me low confidence at times.
Sadly even my houses are placed in earth and water. I have a 6th and 12th stellium.And even the Mars and Sun aspects I have are unfavorable. lol
I do have LOW enthusiasm and drive. I have persistence and endurance, but not so much energy. IP: Logged |

Doux Rêve, so you have a Gemini Rising? I imagine gemini risings to be the life of the party, no? Are you guys very social at first, but prefer to chill in more low key surroundings and have conversations, than say, go clubbing? Fire signs have so much energy, I am jealous! IP: Logged |

I think water is worse and fire is next. That is just my opinion and of course, it is an opinion thing.
To me, if I could not have a sensitivity to others feelings or if that was hard, I would feel as if I was in a kind of jail. I think fire void is the next in line, though. I think earth void is the easiest. I have this. This one does not trouble me that much. The worst part of it is feeling that it is hard to touch the ground but all in all, it is not that bad. ------------------
