Lotiswhite,

personally I love the Venus-Mars-conjunction, especially if it hits my Venus.
But for both of us Venus is in important places, in terms of relationship.

For me it is also ruler of the 5th house, the MC and placed in 1st house.

I wonder though how a person with Venus as ruler of 6th house placed in 11th house would experience such a conjunction?

------------------------

Edit:
An article like this is naturally simplistic (as it is too short to be anything else).
And of course THE WHOLE CHART HAS TO BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.

But the thing is what I (and obviously she as well) observed is that some people tend to jump onto certain aspects.

My Venus conjunct his Mars? Oh that means we MUST be lovers.
No aspect between Venus and Mars? Does that mean we will never have a sexual relationship?

But astrology simply doesn`t work like that.

And yes, Lonake,
of course we are going to meet people EVERYDAY who put something into our 7th houses or we into theirs.
Doesn´t mean we are meant to have a romantic relationship with them, though chances are we do RELATE to them, in the sense that they get our attention.

Imo that happens only though IF there are strong interaspects coming with that aspect either to the 7th house rulers or to planets in 7th house.

(strong interaspect does not mean a 10 degree sextile between his Saturn and my Pluto in his 7th house though ).

Yes, I think given the context in which it was published, this article can just raise a few points worth to be thinking about. But it is of course the beginning of a thoughtprocess, not the end!

And I agree the other articles on her blog are usually a lot more in depth.

(having said that I have also read many bad ones. As I have read several bad books as well. Just because it is written in a book, it is not automatically truth.
The hardest thing in astrology is to discern these, and see the whole picture versus a few isolated aspects. But how could a newbie be doing this?

My honest opinion is, if someone wants to tackle the art of astrology, reading a few articles on various themes or a weekendcourse does not suffice.
You have to start with the basics, which actually also entails a bit of astronomy. lol)

O I get that. No I was commenting on the fact that the 7th is only brought out in committed relations cos where else would we meet the shadow, and my response is I act out and meet my 7th with a lot of diff people so I couldn't get behind that comment.
