@11nahyt love. just the way u express it is obsession. you can't really separate in cases where venus aspects pluto natally. i only have doubts after things have ended anyway and i feel it's not fair to judge it on memories and past emotions.IP: Logged |

Moon square or opposition Venus Because these people value harmony, they may find themselves giving in to others too easily, especially in the first half of life. Resentment is possible, as they feel that they are the ones who seem to do all the acquiescing. There can be a distinct tendency to become friends (and lovers) with people too readily, simply because there is a strong need for approval and a hunger for receiving affection. As such, these people may get involved with people who seem to really like them, and they don't consider whether they actually like them back! It's somewhat of a weakness, as these people are very charmed by the idea that someone seems to really like them and appreciate them. Generally, one of life's lessons for these people is to learn to discriminate more and to get in touch with what they truly want and need. The functions of the Moon (which rules the emotions and feelings, amongst other things) and the functions of Venus (which rules social relationships, harmony, and partnership, amongst other things) are at cross-purposes. When these people attempt to feed the needs of one function, it is often at the expense of the other, until they find some sort of balance. This can play out in a variety of ways. For example, there can be conflicts in partnerships about parenting or whether or not to have a family. They can find themselves compromising their own emotional needs in order to find and keep love. Peace and harmony are important to these people--perhaps too much so, as they can easily be taken advantage of. Insecurity is something that these people need to deal with at some point in their lives. Very sensual, people with Moon in hard aspect to Venus sometimes replace love with food or shopping! They are also usually quite sexually active and sometimes quite lustful. They are usually skilled in the arts. There is a distinct lazy streak. Most are able to work hard, but they truly appreciate luxuriating and enjoying as many pleasures as possible, and self-discipline simply isn't always at their disposal! ^ i connect with this but not sure if it is correct and i dunno which is the square and which is the opposition. i do that love, food, sex, shopping. it's a viscous cycle. see, but the thing is. my way of "liking" a guy,is by being obsessed. i just don't simply "like" a guy. i understant what you're saying, that i would express my love in a obsessive way. but i just don't know if i am being simply obsessive and lusting, or loving obsessively? i could have just met the guy, and if i find him intensely attractive (whether his physicality or personality)i get obsessed.lol. i stalk him, think about him all day,dream/fantasize etc, (he doesn't even know any of this though, and he prob doesn't know i exist yet lol). BUT, usually this feeling doesn't last more than a week. because by then, all the stalking payed off. resulting in me finally seeing that he's not someone i want to be with. i know for a fact i've never been in love yet. but i just don't know if in the future id be able to know anyway. lets say i meet a guy ,and he seems to meet all my needs and what not.i become obsessed. he consumes me, but do i just obsessively like/lust for him? or am i obsessively in love with him? guess time will tell =/ IP: Logged |

yes i've noticed that with me as well!! my venus has progressed into sag. and my moon is now in gemini. that could be it. seriously before i used to be obsessed for weeks, months, even years (knowing the person is no good for me). but for these past 4 yrs, i've been able to get over it (the obsession), in as little as a week LOL. then again, due to people becoming more fake, and superficial etc, its becoming easier to spot those traits faster. thus helping you not to spend as much time obsessing over them. you've got to be thankful for those people though LOL. it makes it a WHOLE lot easier to spot the worthy ones.
you mentioned that you're no longer obsessed, once the person likes you back? LOL. why? do you by any chance have the square or the opp between venus and pluto? IP: Logged |

i hear ya. it makes me wonder if i will ever find that guy who meets my moon and venus needs TOGETHER....i think not dating at ALL, will help. its helped me tremendously. having ME time, and figuring out what exactly i want, how much am i willing to compromise, etc etc. but i've not yet fully overcome my "needs and wants" dilemma yet. i understand what you mean quite well, idon't have the square, i seem to be attracted to, drawn to, and or attract others with moon and venus in opposing or square signs.it extends beyond romantic relationships, i feel the same way about friends, and i also feel that friends particularly, will either love one half of me or the other, and not be a fan of the other half.
